Really gotta finish and elaborate on this chart of 'natural' Zeti powers and how they work because not only is it really important to my headcanons/personal Zeti lore but it's also really, really important to Sonic Pantheon

Because (in the au) each of the D6 has developped their own specialty and aside from Zor (and Zavok but only kinda) it's based entirely on this

#sonicrambling #zavok's whole thing is fire and heat which is partially an elemental ability he just *has* but also relies on plasma & radiation control #master zik & zomom both use magnetism #tho master zik is exceptionally good at it and zom is just starting to get to a level where it could be useful in combat #zazz can generate a (small) amount of electricity #and i do mean small #zeena has like. opinokinesis lite? #like a verrrrrry light version of it #she can mess with people's senses a tiny bit and maybe like. give you a headache or something #and then zor has the dark ancient forbidden powers he was cursed with by the leader of the death cult he grew up in #so uh yeah fun stuff #the whole point of this is for the d6 to walk up to sonic like “hey we got new powers and shit now” #“anyway you have 5 seconds to explain why the outer hex just entered a new ice age before we fucking kill you”

Thinking about my Feudal Japan Sonic AU that was mainly about the Deadly Six ; but where the other main thing was making robot characters into undead spirits who could posess different objects.

As in, characters like Omega, Metal Sonic, Orbot and Cubot used to be living Mobians but when they died (through a variety of different circumstances), their spirit clung onto a physical object instead of passing on. In order to give themselves a more tangible appearance they would then add other items around the one they were bound to ; pieces of clothing and armor, subsitutes for hands and feet, glasses, decorative pieces...

Omega was a samurai warrior filled with so much destructive rage that when he was finally killed, his spirit latched onto his weapon so he could continue fighting. Nowadays he walks the land as an empty armor, terrifying those he comes across (except for Rouge and Shadow who are used to it by now).

Orbot was a priest who passed from a long term illness but was absolutely terrified of death ; so much so that his spirit attached itself to the nearest object (a large incense bowl) to escape it.

Cubot was a gardener who was killed in a sudden and unexpected farming accident and was so spooked when it happened his spirit jumped into the wooden crate he had been carrying.

Metal's story was a bit. Different. Dr. Eggman was one of the first people to figure out how to pull spirits out of the afterlife- and he uses this knowledge to shove them into different kinds of armors and weaponry for his army. Metal Sonic was one such spirit, pulled from death and placed into an armor identical to Sonic's. How he originally died is unknown.

Anyway now I'm trying to apply this the other bots and trying to think of their story and what they'd look like-

Decoe and Bocoe absolutely got married in the Robo Roommates AU btw

They had Orbot officiate the wedding

Bokkun was the ring bearer, of course

Scratch & Grounder got to put on their Best Man & Maid of Honor outfits again

Cubot was the church organ player

D.U.F.U.S. was the church organ

Coconuts took care of catering

They had a great time and Bocoe definitely wasn't crying the whole time

Sonic Pantheon AU: A Quick Summary

So, this is actually a pretty old AU that dates all the way back to when I first made this blog (so over a whole year ago). Back then it was about Sonic & Friends + the Deadly Six joining forces against a cursed god of ice and winter "accidentally" unleashed by Eggman. I've had it on the back burner for a while and more characters have been added over time, so I figured I'd bring it back around.

Summary: Throughout ancient times, many have attempted to harness the power of the Chaos Emeralds. Few have succeeded. Fewer still have left their name in History- but the Seven who did so are known as The Pantheon. Seven individuals of frightening reputation ; seven gods without worship ; and seven potential ways to take over the world- or so Eggman believes. Unfortunately for him fallen gods aren't that easy to keep under control- especially when an eigth one is about to make an entrance.

Seeing as sentient robots' personalities can change and their traits aren't set in stone it would make sense that Bokkun can mature and grow up ; at least mentally.

Bocoe ans Decoe would build him a new body that better suits how he feels about himself- which has to be an experience ; like imagine getting to help your parents design your own body.

I'd like to think he grows up into much less of a brat too. He's good kid ; still up for some mischief but at least now he understand consequences and acccepts them.

Hangs out with Cream a lot. Probably works part-time as a delivery boy or a postman or something

Someday I'll have to torture myself and go through different Fench dubbed Sonic media and rank the worst voices/deliveries...

Notable mentions include Zor (zonked out of his gourd), Zazz (voiced by a 64 year old man), Bocoe (helium inhaler), Grounder (smoked 3 packs a day for the past 45 years) and Scratch (has a voice that would actually fit Grounder)
