everyone talks about v2 being a protector and a guardian for humans before humanitys extinction, but i don’t think that that’s backed up by the games lore. based on the terminal data, V2 was developed during the New Peace, yes, but it doesnt say anything about any sort of protection. the first line of the data says ‘The V model was built for war’ which includes V2. the only update stated between v1 and v2 is the more durable plating. the data says that v2 was never produced because there was no demand due to the end of wars.

though, we can only hypothesize what the v models were doing during the New Peace. i guess the terminals don’t really make it clear either. v2s second terminal data says that v1 is ‘more experienced’ but how did it get this experience if it was only a prototype and never saw war? the first data says ‘during times of peace, when no bloodshed was necessary.’ If no bloodshed was necessary, why do you need a robot with guns?

all im saying is i don’t think v2 was any sort of guardian. it either sat wherever v1 was during the New Peace because it never sold, or v2 was more like a cop and the New Peace was not as peaceful as the game wants us to believe

just finished the re3 remake in like . 5 hours. so short ?? my first playthroughs of like all the other resident evils were like double that .

the only thing i don't really like about signalis is the really basic anime art style for characters but most of the in-game assets look nice enough that it doesn't matter

#all the art direction besides that is amazing #normal ​in-game it looks like ghost trick but every once in a while they'll have a shot of a characters face and it's like sword art online #my posts #only other thing i could possibly complain about is the combat but like. its survival horror #idk if you can have a survival horror with good combat #you're supposed to run away from enemies! #i got to the first boss which was the only time i've really had a problem so far #but i was able to beat it after looking stuff up #the puzzles are great the world-building and tone are great the switching between 3rd and 1st person is great #it's not super hard so far but the scarce save-points reanimating enemies limited ammo/health and intentionally clunky combat #all make you feel unsafe and on edge #oh and incredibly limited inventory! i don't always like that (i don't like it in re1) but this game does it well. it feels balanced #they really seem to have taken the right lessons from classic survival horror #i can see the silent hill 2 inspiration especially but it's still incredibly different #the $10-20 range really has the best games huh

what's tragic about raccoon city is plenty of officers were killed by B.O.W's and zombies, but there's a number of them that were shot in the back by Chief Brian Irons himself, who had completely gone insane as a result of the outbreak, refusing to allow any officers to "escape from his city".

I've been watching 30 SuperCarry recently in hopes of Sig coming out with a P365 chambered in it. The only benefit being the ammo capacity over my current XL.

Found more at a local Fleet Farm today and the prices were surprising. Bear in mind, they didn't have a direct comparison with 9mm, so I chose 30SC HST and compared to 9mm Hydra Shok.

The FMJ is actually the worst in terms of price at .50/round but similar 9mm was going for. 35-.40/round at the same store.

Boxes were as follows:

30SC FMJ box of 50rds - 0.50/round

30SC HST box of 20rds - 1.42/round

9mm Hydra Shok box of 20rds - 1.34/round
