Ferd could not remember how he got here. Where... was 'here'...? His head ached something terrible,, and the dull throb pulsing on a high-ish left point on his forehead alerted him to be probably being knocked-out previously by blunt-force trauma,,,. A wetness was steadily dripping down his left brow, sticking his eyelashes with dark red with every blink. Ferd lifted his shoulder, and the light, metallic clink had him finally casting his gaze to his surroundings. Oh. There was somebody slumped behind him, the reason for the heavy weight leaning against his back, but he couldn't make out their face with the angle and how black fuzz was eating the edges of his vision,,. Distantly Ferd registered the steady rocking and clinking of a train's movement as he blinked. He licked his lips, noting how chapped and cracked they were despite him last remembering them soft under a layer of peach chapstick... and opened his mouth a crack, wincing as it pulled at his skin. ".....Wha.....-?"

What would be considered a "good dream"? Well,,........

Other than -cough cough- the special kind Hikōkai does actually dream about some of the things they've done and experienced under ANBU fondly-- though they would be more nightmares to other shinobi,,,. (The smell and taste of blood in the air, the heated fluttering adrenaline rush of seeing the fear in the white of his victim's eyes,, the feeling of being high on his job,,,.)

Ferd would... also beyond the "special kind" enjoy romantic fluffy-sappy dreams about nature and his partner(s),,,. He dreams about forests and meadows and rivers,, chasing and long slow kisses with no rush or quicker more frequent ones with lips that taste like burning summer,,,. He dreams about them in different forms, water exchanged like air or the flutter of wings or the sweet juicy burst of fruit...

Charles frowned, looking at the thermometer. "I think this is high. It's in fahrenheit." Charles was British. "I'm sorry I gave you my cold." He apologized to Ferd.

The faux-brunette blinked wet lashes as he breathed in shallowly. "It's not your fault," He pronounced carefully; he hadn't expected Charles to visit him at his house today, but Ferd hadn't wanted to seem impolite when the other man had asked to come in. This just happens, right? Diseases were like that.

"Sure! Just remember to wear your jacket and keep dry and warm!" Ferd said as lightning cracked loudly outside the window. It wasn't pouring, despite the lightning and thunder, which is why Ferd agreed so easily; even if he was partial to his occasional "flights of fancy" Ferd was a generally practical person,,,.

Ferd doesn’t think he gets possessive; -- and in truth,, he’s mostly correct,,,,. He’s not going to be super bothered if someone flirts with his partner, or his partner flirts with others... Unless his partner gets serious-enough that he gets uncomfortable. He wants to think he’s a very relaxed, casual partner. (In perhaps plotting or certain au situations we can tweak him lol,.....) Possessiveness is reserved for private moments, and especially at their home, if they’re sharing one. (Ferd would like to trace over where the other touched his partner like he was erasing marks, though -- not in a jealous way, he swears;;)

Ferd absolutely believes in soulmates. But more specifically just people who are connected, close, regardless of positivity or romantic-bonds,,,;;;. Why-not?? He only wants to help others, Ferd thinks. Surely it couldn’t hurt that much if he tried to connect to people that way......? ? ?

If he could convey some-last-message Ferd would probably... apologize, mainly, for hurting whoever he leaves behind. He’d probably have people to address this too,, if not friends and lovers since he’s such an open, friendly person;; specifically he would apologize leaving his lovers,, knowing how poorly they might deal with his departure when they have such pasts,,,. (we’re looking at you @dadzxwa/@multi-musemenagerie;;;; (lighthearted,,)). If it was Kenshin Ferd might feel slightly less troubled since while Kenshin had his own-past,,,, Aizawa and Bruno specifically are the kind to be... very attached to their partners and also may-or-may not have abandonment issues,, from the sounds of things,,,.....
