rewatched that fan animated trailer for gachiakuta like 15 times before realizing it wasnt an anime announcement but i was already signed up mentally so i read all of gachiakuta on monday night i am truly a changed man... jokes aside its rare to see an art style That good like it made me remember why i liked drawing and designing things

theyre relaunching LPS again with the G3 molds - pretty cool, though the G3 remake animals were sometimes crappier looking (horse, owl, etc) , saw someone on a reddit say that basic fun said G2 molds would be returning as well as part of the 140+ character first run- reminds me though the G1 debut ads were the only toy ads that really Got me as a kid. thought the first playset ad was so cool i turned off the TV and went upstairs to go play before remembering it was an ad on the TV and not a toy i owned already

i saw spongebob for the first time last week or so and hmm my main feeling is that the intro theme really is infectious its been stuck in my head* nonstop damn but anyway every punchline from the first 10 episodes being an internet meme i think killed a lot of the humour but i think we’re giving it another shot tomorrow we’re further down the season some of these i dont know so well. it was like the 5th time he’d asked if id consider watching spongebob and i was like “ok but only if you watch MLP” and he was like >_> fine but anyway i really want my boyfriend to watch MLP with me so i agreed to watch the sponge. finally. its cool hearing really early career tom kenny

ok i NEED to know someone else hated atF&C or i am going to die fr.. was SO bad like i think has genuinely damaged my overall opinion of adv time ... And Another Thing-'ing itself, over-explaining the simon/betty relationship, actual time spent on the personality-void Yaoified genderbent coffee shop AU of an f/f couple that infamously couldnt be on screen "Caus Of Censors", i would critique the shock value but i feel like adv time did have that to some degree already and they just had the cartoon-typical ADULT SHOW NOW!! sex and violence thing that like samurai jack & YJ did - feels more like a compilation of long-form tumblr "wouldnt it be fucked up if..." theorizing/fanfic posts smashed together than a decent continuation. i DID like andrew rannells for gumball way more than NPH but i HATED sean rohani as prismo compared to kumail nanijani just absolutely none of the charm. not to mention just... willfully giving up the opportunity to end the series with Together Again omg what a wet fart the magic school episode was after that and then this...

watched dragon ball super: super hero (gammas design are soooo cute) (ALSO PICCOLO AND PAN SOOO CUTE)

watched part of super dragonball heroes (kept falling asleep)

watched tree of might (meh)

watched db evolution (SOOOOO BAD i wanted to compare james marsters as live action piccolo to his really good zamasu voiceacting) (piccolo was not good) (emmy rossum bulma almost killed me)

watched nimona (book was better) (i understand why the film removed some stuff but it removed a lot of the stuff i like about the comic esp surrounding ambrosius’s characterization and motivations)

charlie said he IS interested in MLP (since he agreed to watch it) but wanted to start VB first so started one rewatch of that altho i think im starting another rewatch soon w someone else

also does anypony know any good movies/shows w kathy bates in them? listening to her talk makes me draw faster. i watched misery/fried green tomatoes/dolores claiborne/disjointed already

rewatching b10 again skipped uaf etc etc we’re most of the way through omniverse and while i feel like i picked up more stuff i didnt care for this time around im also taking extra time to pay attention to the background art this time caus it rly is the stand out feature. still despite everything debut of rook ester zed blukic-driba and some of my fave omnitrix aliens atomix, FEEDBACK🏳️‍⚧️, whampire, bullfrag, bloxx, kickin hawk etc also realized on this rewatch that gutrot’s voice is a columbo impression LOL
