Jimin is aware that he looks like hell right now. He’s aware of the deep bruises under his eyes that betray his lack of sleep, aware of the unusual pallor of his skin that makes the slight flush on his face stand out that much more, aware of the shine of sweat that lines his forehead though all he’s done so far is begun shaping a small batch of different colored wagashi into fall-themed shapes. Before him he already has a few pumpkins, some leaves of different shapes and shades of red and orange, even a carefully crafted daffodil. He was supposed to sit down for a break several minutes ago, had told Eros that he would, yet here he is still working at the tiny sweets with his little shaping tool.

“I’ll take a break in a minute, Eros, I just want to finish this batch...”

As soon as he says it, Jimin’s head begins to go whirl slightly, making him stumble despite standing perfectly still. Maybe he really should take a break. But he also can’t let Eiji down, can’t let the store down, can’t let his customers down...
