“oh, that’s quite a lot!” baizhu remarked as he noticed you and qiqi empty the bags full of halloween treats on the floor. he was right, all because you and qiqi decided to continue trick or treating far enough to receive a lot that varied in different types of treats. you laughed and nodded in reply while trying to organize it all to be stored in a jar you prepared while baizhu kneeled down to join you and qiqi.

however, it seemed that baizhu wouldn’t stop sneaking a few small ones into his mouth.

“baizhu, less eating and more helping!”

“i am helping, y/n. i’m lessening the ones needed to be put away, am i not?”

you squinted your eyes at the green haired man while he just shot you with his closed eyed half smile, half smirk as he continued ‘helping’. you sighed and continued, not until you noticed qiqi’s face that featured her adorable, little pout while she fiddled the ends of her mummy costume with her small fingers.

you smiled softly and opted to move closer to her before you placed a comforting hand behind her back. “qiqi, what’s wrong? are you tired?” she only shook her head and furrowed her brows with her head hung low.

however, you didn’t need to try to gain an answer from her when you noticed how much she shifted her eyes at the candies and chips in front of her, as if looking for something. so you smiled and placed a tender hand on her cheek to make her look up to you, “qiqi, i prepared a little ‘treat’ for you! oh- and it’s your favorite!”

“qiqi’s… favorite…?” you giggled when her eyes shone in a combination of curiosity and excitement. you nodded at her before you stood up and made your way towards the kitchen to get something from the refrigerator. you returned with your hands behind your back, hiding the item from qiqi while baizhu chuckled for he already knew what you had prepared this morning for the little one.

“alright. now, you have to ask me the spoooky~ question before i give it to you!”

qiqi curiously gazed up at your kneeled figure with your hands behind your back. nevertheless, she stood up and picked up her halloween bag beside her as her hands stretched it open for you. “trick or treat…!” despite her soft, quiet voice, she tried her best to say it louder than she did during earlier’s trick or treating.

“here’s your treat, cocogoat milk!” you smiled at qiqi and showed her what you had, coconut milk — or cocogoat milk, as she always calls it — stored in a pumpkin-shaped bottle and a straw. a wide smile found its way onto her features as she placed her bag down and took the bottle with both of her hands, she quickly expressed her thankfulness and, without a second wasted, started sipping on the straw. the delighted hum and the sparkles in her eyes made you smile.

“so,” baizhu started once you’ve stood up with the jar full of treats in your hands, “do i get a treat too?”

“well, did you say ‘trick or treat’? and, you’re not wearing a costume.”

your little banter with baizhu was interrupted once you felt qiqi tug on the ends of your costume. you smiled and kneeled down on her level to hear her out.

“can qiqi… ask for another?…”

it’s early in the evening as you smiled after you finished filling the first container with different varieties of candies, chocolates, biscuits, and chips. you didn’t have to worry about the second container that you trusted ei to fill; after all, she was the one that voluntarily offered a hand after noticing how many you and her bought from the other day’s grocery shopping.

you picked up the filled container and turned around to walk towards your girlfriend, whose back was turned to you as she filled her container.

“honey, are you done?—” you noticed how her actions froze upon hearing your voice, while your words halted as your eyes landed upon the reason behind it.

“ei!” you called, your voice a bit louder in shock. “i told you to fill the container, not eat it!” you now moved to stand beside her sitting figure by the dinner table and placed your container on the table. “those are for the kids who’ll be knocking on our door to trick or treat later…” you sighed.

ei lifted her head up to look at you with her witch hat still on her head. “well…” she started, her voice a little mumbled as she still had her mouth full, only continuing once she had swallowed. “you mentioned that it was ‘my’ container, i thought it meant that the contents are mine as well, love.” you grumbled at her words and shook your head. why didn’t you expect this from her?

she lifted her hand to show you a piece of chocolate with the wrapper still in-tack to it, giving you a view of her nails that were painted purple, “also, this is my favorite among it all. you really made an amazing decision for buying this, darling.”

it was the chocolate that you were unsure of buying due to its unfamiliar brand. “really?” she nodded at your question. you lifted your hand in order to take the piece of wrapped chocolate from her fingers, only for her to move it away from your reach.

ei stood up in order to stretch her arm that held the chocolate higher, totally out of your reach, but you still tried your best to reach it; standing on your toes and hopping. it didn’t click to you that your body was pressed against hers, faces barely a few centimeters away from each other.

it also didn’t click to you that her free arm was now wrapped around your waist and you weren’t fast enough to notice her lips pressed against yours in a loving kiss. your widened eyes stared at her, whose eyes were closed, soon you wrapped your arms around her and kissed back with your eyes closed. ei’s kisses always felt so electrifying no matter the intensity, it left sparks and tingles.

it were the three same words you’ve been hearing for the past hour ever since people of different ages wearing costumes started knocking on your door, you’ve given treats to every single one of them. however, this time, you recognized very well who was the little girl wearing an orange-black colored dress with a pumpkin hat on top of her head accompanied by an older male wearing what seemed to be a prince costume.

“hm…” you placed a hand on your hip as you pretended to think. “i think i don’t have anything left to give to the both of you.”

“eh- but!! i thought you said klee will get a looot of treats if klee dressed up!?” you noticed that klee lifted the pumpkin on her head to be able to look up to you properly. you laughed and shook your head before showing to the pair the container full of treats and took multiple handfuls of sweets to stuff into her and albedo’s halloween bags. klee’s eyes sparkled and her wide smile reappeared as she looked at the contents of her bag before looking back up to you again. “thank you sooo muuuch~!” you placed a hand on her head and ruffled her hair with a smile.

“i’m sorry that we stopped by quite late, flower. klee and i decided to start from the ones near our neighborhood before we expanded our route.” albedo apologized.

you shook your head, “it’s totally fine, ‘bedo. it’s actually an amazing strategy to get more treats.” you laughed and albedo nodded with an adoring smile on his face that you didn’t notice was because of you.

you felt a tug at the end of your clothes; the moment you looked down, you’re met with klee’s pleading eyes. “can you join klee and albedo onii-chan for trick-or-treating?” your eyes widened, would that really be a good idea?

“it’ll be fun.” albedo mused. “after all, our costume quite matches each other’s, no?” your eyes automatically scanned his costume, then yours. once you realized that the theme of the costumes matched, even without having it planned, your cheeks gained a red hue and warmth you couldn’t shake off.

in your flustered silence, albedo chuckled and offered you a hand, accompanied by a charming and loving smile on his lips.

he turns around to leave after thanking the kind owner of the house, but never forgets to wrap his arm around your waist to bring you along with him while his other hand held his halloween bag. his set of rowdy friends were silenced by shinobu when she noticed that almost all eyes on the street are on them for being too loud. in the mean time, your eyes looked up at itto who was too busy enjoying his pumpkin-shaped lollipop while striding towards a new house to trick-or-treat to.

"itto, are you seriously going to go for another house?"

"babe, of course! it's halloween, so we shouldn't waste this opportunity to get snacks for free!"

you flash him a dumbfounded look, which he laughs at. "if you just wanted free snacks, i could have just bough some and gave it to you for free so we wouldn't have to go trick-or-treating."

at your words, realization, shock, and panic fills the expression of his face as he immediately scrabbled closer in front of you.

"no! that won't do! we had to go trick-or-treating together. it wouldn't be fun without your dear boyfie, righttt?" he reasoned before he showed you his phone's lockscreen wallpaper — which was the picture he took of the both of you earlier before stepping out to trick or treat. it makes you think that maybe scaramouche wasn't a fan of dressing up, trick-or-treating, or that he isn't really a fan of halloween as a whole. so with a bit of a heavy heart, you returned every costume you've presented to him. with how busy you were, you don't notice him watching you with guilt in his indigo irises. he's too harsh on this — on you.

your hand held the hanger of the vampire costume, the last that you had to put back, until a gentle hand stopped you from doing so before the owner had stole the costume away from your hands. you look up and watch as scaramouche examines the coat, your eyes confused as he looks back at you.

"i think i'll wear this." scaramouche turns to you as you notice the superiority on his voice disappear. "and you can wear this." he said as he got another vampire costume that matches with the one he plans to wear.

"k-kuni, you don't really have to if you don't want to-"

"i want to." he states firmly, yet his voice is soft. "for you."

Genshin OC #1

Picrew is called: The Lady of Hera.

This is my main Genshin OC! She is a noble from Sumeru but she ran away at a young age.

Her real name is Ilosa Annunziata but her alias is Combat Ziatro.

She is a Dendro Catalyst user.

Due to my obsession with lore she has this special connection with the leylines. She can feel and see what information is stored within them, but it's not as overpowered as it sounds.

I call her a Leyline Listener, which isn't a thing in the game it's something I made up for organization purposes.

Sure she has this special connection, but she has certain limits. Use it too much and she becomes overstimulated. Use it in an icy region like Dragonspine, she's going to feel cold for the rest of the day. Use it near water, she feels like she's drowning. She can use this ability in normal environments.

Her attacks are Dendro throwing knives.

Those who obtain the Dendro vision are after something that's quite impossible to achieve or on their way to achieve it. Like how Baizhu is trying to achieve immortality through Qiqi.

For Ilosa, it's finding out the true history of the world. Not the truth of the world, the history of the world of Teyvat.

Sure she has seen certain events happen live or in the past, but the more far back it is, the harder it is for her to see it.

Now for those who are wondering, why did she run away? Well, let's just say her parents treated like shit.

Her parents own an Oasis like place(thank you Lance <3) and information passes through there.

Her mom was disappointed when Ilosa obtained her vision at the age of 5, that same day where she felt the Leyline connection.

She ran away at around the age of 10-11 so she's been on the run for at least a decade or so.

Oh did I mention that she's in an arranged marriage? Yeah, she's in an arranged marriage with one of her childhood friends. (Oi forbidden love trope ppl have some food.)

Through her running from place to place, she's gained a bit of a criminal record... She did turn herself into everybody's informant. What I mean is that she gives people the information they want, any supplies they may need, at a price.

She deals with everyone! The Treasure Hoarders, adventurers, the Fatui, you name them and she has probably met them before.

Though she hasn't dealt with any of the Harbingers before, and she prefers to keep it that way.

If you ask her what side of history she's on she says, "The one where they record all that's happening on both sides. Nothing shall get erased."

Does she know the true identity of Venti and Zhongli? Unfortunately yeah... It's not easy...

She's similar to Dainsleif but she has her limitations like I've said before.

Also for her wish banner title or the royalty like titles that's going on in Genshin like Chalk Prince or Uncrowned King of Mondstadt, I got two.

The first one is the Runaway Princess and the second is the Queen of Information.

He brushed it off at first, after all he didn't help you in your greatest time of need in return for anything. He just, knew you were the real creator.

Yet here he is, attempting to humor you after you figured out how to use some of your 'godly' powers.

You trail off in concentration and he hums in response, "I'm staying still but I'm not sure if this will really work your excellency..."

"Baizhu, Baizhu!! Hold still I’m going to see if I can heal you..."

"No way! I’ve been practicing, I really want to help you as thanks for everything." You close your eyes as faint memories of your recent struggles cross your mind.

Unfortunately you had been mistaken for an ‘imposter’ god and chased by pretty much all of Teyvat until you ran into Baizhu who had given you refuge until the truth was revealed.

You owed him a lot and wanted to repay it in any way that you can, hence the moment you learned about the divine healing powers you possessed, you practiced to heal Baizhu of his terrible illness.

Baizhu let out a strangled cross between a chuckle and a fond sigh. "Alright it wouldn’t hurt to try I suppose."

You continue working in silence, trying to quickly finish as to not impede on Baizhu's busy schedule.

"Alright, I'm all done! Does it feel any better?"

Baizhu stands up and stretches out his joints, trying to feel if there was any change.

"Unfortunately it feels the same as always. But don’t be sad your excellency, I'm very touched that you wanted to help me so much."

You sag a little at the knowledge that even your divine healing powers couldn't help the sickly doctor.

"Ah ok then... I apologize for wasting your time, but I will be back with a better method I swear!" and with that you rush off, not letting him try to convince you to do otherwise.

He stares at your figure as it gets farther and farther away, only turning around once he can no longer see you.

"Thank you for your efforts your excellency."

Though as the week flew by, Baizhu slowly became aware of some kind of... change in his body. It was subtle at first but became more prominent to the point that he could no longer ignore it.

"Qiqi, come here please!"

"Yes, uhm... Mister Baizhu?" He motions her forward. "I would like to try something, if you will let me pick you up?"

Qiqi tilts her head confused, “But won’t that be a struggle to pick up Qiqi...?”

Baizhu chuckles at her lightheartedly, “Under normal circumstances yes, but ever since their excellency tried treating my illness next week I’ve been feeling better and better. I want to see if their divine abilities truly did help my illness is all.”

“Oh, I see. Then go ahead Mister Baizhu, that’s ok with me!” and with that Baizhu lifts up Qiqi, with considerable ease he notices as well.

“It would appear their powers did work! This is incredible...” As soon as the words of praise come out of his mouth you happen to stroll in, as if you knew what was going on.

“Baizhu! I’ve come to try a new method...?” You trail off as you see a healthier looking Baizhu carrying Qiqi.

“...Baizhu??? Uhh wait what?” He laughs at your dumbstruck face.

“Hello to you too you excellency, looks like your powers worked the last time. I couldn’t tell at first but now I feel... refreshed. Thank you so much.”

You look at him bashfully, “Oh! Yes of course... I’m glad I was able to help you. I guess I won’t be needing to come in as often anymore though.”

Before you can react, Baizhu clicks his tongue and presses a soft kiss on your cheek. “I don’t think so, [Y/N]. I hope to be seeing you more often if anything.”

ok! let's start off when you're sick, he treats you so nicely you sometimes wonder if he's an angel. even if his traditional medicine does taste a bit bad, he makes up for it with your favorite food, and kisses <3

you sometimes help qiqi gather herbs for your boyfriend, with him telling you both to stay safe.

changsheng actually disliked you when you first met, when you werent dating yet, but slowly got used to your personality and attitude.

he let's you play with his hair everytime you sleep together face to face, his sleeping face just right across yours as his lips parted slightly.

qiqi thinks you both are plant parents, although she forgets quick and knows what baizhu's intentions are, she loves the two of you both like she's your child.

just to add something, qiqi, voiceline about y/n : "oh.. qiqi likes y/n, they're very nice to me, although i forget them sometimes, i wish i could repay them back for all the kindness they've shown me."

i also think he doesn't mind PDA, he probably kisses your head while he's behind you without you noticing while talking to qiqi acting like he isn't there behind you.

he's very protective of you both as you two are very dear to him.

dates with baizhu are usually just having late night or really early morning walks, talking about how your day went as well, but in rare occasions you both decide to stay home and drink tea.

you both try to stop hu tao from getting to put qiqi in a coffin because she's a zombie, despite qiqi saying that hu tao belongs in a fridge..

despite his sly attitude, you still loved him dearly.

"ah! y/n, do you know where qiqi is?" hu tao asked as you furrowed your eyebrows, "qiqi is out gathering herbs, i recommend you don't follow her if you don't want to be the one put in your own casket in the funeral parlor." baizhu, your boyfriend suddenly cut you off as you were about to say something.

"oh.. well! i guess i have to come back some other time!" the female laughed as she ran out of you two's sight. you thanked baizhu so you wouldn't have to explain anything as he gave you a kiss on the forehead telling you it was nothing.

Family Ties – Zhongli x gn!reader (ft. Qiqi)

The sound of chirping birds and cheerful voices filled the air. It was a beautiful day in Liyue Harbor, the balmy breeze making the sun’s heat more bearable for the little girl by your side. She was resting on a bench beneath the parasol you had exclusively bought for her, making sure that she could spend some time outside even on sunnier days without getting uncomfortable too quickly. At first, she had been reluctant about the whole idea but as of recently, she often grabbed your hand and dragged you into the tiny backyard of your residence to either watch the finches that gathered around the bird bath you had set up or simply to relax after collecting herbs for Bubu Pharmacy.

You couldn’t remember when exactly you had started to care so much about her. In the beginning, she had been nothing more than casual acquaintance, one of Baizhu’s employees that you only saw from time to time when you visited the pharmacy to buy herbs and medicine. Most of the time, Qiqi couldn’t even remember you when you returned a few weeks later to stock up on herbs – until one day, she greeted you with an unusually cheerful “Hello, (Y/N)”.

You wondered if maybe that had been the turning point in your relationship. Later on, when you had asked her about remembering your name, she had told you about her notebook and showed you the pages she had filled with her messy handwriting. Pages filled with notes about you and your kindness and how you smiled at her every time you visited Bubu Pharmacy. She wanted to remember you, and up to this day, she still made sure to take notes about everything you did together because she never wanted to forget any second she spent with you.

“Look,” Qiqi said, her voice snapping you out of your thoughts. She was pointing at the bird bath where a bunch of different birds had gathered, refreshing themselves in the cool water. “The birds are back.”

“Seems like they really enjoy themselves,” you said. “Do you want to get a closer look at them? You just need to be careful not to startle them or else they’ll fly away.”

Qiqi nodded, already jumping to her feet and slowly making her way towards the bird bath. You watched as she cocked her head to the side, a curious expression in her eyes as she examined the chirping birds.

You couldn’t help but smile at the sight. Qiqi was such a pure and gentle soul, and you had really taken her to your heart over the past few months, no matter how often others had told you not to get too attached to the girl.

“Is it weird that I treat her as if she were my daughter?” you asked, contorting your face when you realized how stupid your question sounded. Zhongli who was sitting right beside you, absent-mindedly flipping through a book while he enjoyed the mild summer evening, turned his head to look at you. A gentle expression formed in his eyes when he met your concerned gaze. “No,” he replied quietly and reached out to interlace his fingers with yours. He let his eyes wander, a soft smile flashing over his face as he watched Qiqi for a moment. She was still looking at the birds, her hand stretched out, hoping that one of the tiny birds would land in her palm, just as she had seen it in one of the books you had gifted her recently.

“No,” he repeated. “It’s not weird at all. In fact, I think it’s wonderful that you give her the opportunity to have a family. She has experienced horrible things in the past and even though she can’t remember most of it, it has made a lasting impression her. It’s good that she’s surrounded by people who truly care about her.”

You leaned in and rested your head on his shoulder, indulging in the peaceful feeling that always welled up in you when he was near. He kissed the top of your head. “Being a family isn’t only about blood relations,” he mused. “It’s about trust and love, and you decided to give Qiqi a home, to give her your love and that is what makes her a part of our family.”

He was right. Qiqi was a part of your family. And you would do anything in your power to protect her and her happiness, no matter what happened.

It seems not, but no matter how excited she is, she will not pull your hair unless it is to annoy you a little. Come on, we already know that this girl is a bit too much restless by nature!

“Higher! I want to see if I can bomb these birds on the fly from here!” “Klee, don't even think about it!” “Ooh, okay...”

These trips also have another use: to relax her a bit if she's making a lot of fuss while Jean works.

The simple fact of taking her through a quiet forest without danger, just listening to the sound of the birds, can cause this little girl to start feeling sleepy.

“Hm.. myth or not, I was thinking of doing one anyway.”
