Dragon!Mangkorn and Tiger!Yai, inspired by a still of one of their photo shoots and @scarefox comment that Mos looked very dragon-y in it (he did).

#Big Dragon the series #Mangkorn x Yai #MangkornYai #the comment 100% triggered the whole thing which is why I tagged but if you want your @ removed please just tell me and I will! #thanks to the people in here who wrote about the series colors and yin/yang symbolism for guiding the aesthetic choices I made #a few comments on my choices bc I don't want to clog the description so #Mangkorn's 'crest' is inspired by Thai Naga dragons depictions I found #(I had started with more 'classically' chinese dragons as inspo but they just looked incredibly cool) #I didn't want to give Yai animal ears (despite finding it lovely) bc of the double ear situation it would induce #so he has a tail AND also skin stripped markings #(I *know* tiger's stripes are purely on their fur this is like artistic licence) #also it's fake fur on his coat #but he strikes me as the kind of guy who would wear faux-fur of his own species and play it as #'wearing the hide of my enemies so fckn b e w a r e' #and while Mangkorn's claws are false Yai's nails are particularly sharp #no other reason that I wanted him to claw Mangkorn's neck but had the visual of those claw-ring-things before anything else in there #anyway they both have really nice faces (especially Yai goodness) but very challenging to draw - a nice exercise #my art #qmdslkjf my autocorrect keep switching Yai to Yaoi I'm just („ಡωಡ„) p l e a s e
