1. Your first dizi & how you discovered Turkish dramas 

The first dizi I ever watched (that was not dubbed and shortened) was Sen Çal Kapımı in 2020. I binged 7 episodes only to discover it was currently on-air, and by then I was hooked so while waiting for episode 8 to air, I started Her Yerde Sen, lol. So, to sum up, SÇK is how I started my dizi adventure, and HYS was the first show I ever watched in its entirety. Both were good decisions. 🤗

Ironically, 2 years later I still haven’t seen Bizim Hikaye which is what I was trying to watch when I came across SÇK’s significantly captivating poster. 

2. Show(s) you’re currently watching 

Ooof, I wasn’t sure I’d watch any new ones, but now I am and it’s too much, but it’s a hyperfixation, so, 🤷‍♀️. Anyway, I’m watching Afili Aşk, Seversin, and, Senden Daha Güzel currently. 🙈 Oh, and Inadına Aşk, which is basically my “I don’t really care about you, and can’t concentrate on shows I watch for fun rn but I’d like some background noise on so you’ll have to do” watch. 😂

3. Your favorite genre of dizi (romcom, mafia show, contemporary drama, historical/fantasy, etc.) 

Romcom (shocker, I know 😱).

4. The show you rewatch (parts of) the most 

Her Yerde Sen, Doğduğun Ev Kaderindir, & Seviyor Sevmiyor.

Kerem Bürsin, Çağlar Ertuğrul, Engin Öztürk, Burcu Özberk, Elçin Afacan, Demet Özdemir, Yusuf Çim, & Elçin Sangu.

Kiralık Aşk, Aşk Yeniden (idk, maybe I’ll watch it completely someday), Gülümse Yeter, and El Kızı.

8. The show whose plot disappointed you the most 

Kiralık Aşk. El Kızı. To be fair, each dizi, at some point, disappoints.

9. A show that was cancelled too soon / ran too long - 

I think Iyi Günde Kötü Günde deserved a few more episodes; it had potential. And call me biased, but Ateşböceği was a fairly sweet series and should’ve run longer. 

Kusura bakma, but Kiralık Aşk ran way too long.

13. Best kiss  

As someone who looks away or skips these scenes 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈, I’ll do my most favourite love confessions from diziland (which, I know, no one asked for) instead. 

This entire scenario, from Serkan chasing after Eda to the actual confession will always be number 1 for me. Always! Serkan’s frustration, exasperated fondness translating into that “deli gibi aşık oldum”? Gold! 😍

Next up are my second most favourite confessions: Kerem’s sweet, wholesome confession with the swan origami and then Ayşe with the angsty reveal in response to Kerem’s confrontation. These two pulled it off so well! ❤️

14. An underrated show more people should watch 

Her Yerde Sen.

Seviyor Sevmiyor (it has moments where you’d be annoyed, but the two mains have really good chemistry and they’ve done angst well). 

Seversin, being a currently on-air show, deserves more attention because it’s a lighthearted watch, even if there’s not much new there – which I believe is the way of dizis lol. Ilayda and Burak are doing a good job, BTW. 

15. A show everyone loves that you aren’t interested in 

Erkenci Kuş.  

16. A show you want to recommend right now 

I’d say watch Seversin, and Senden Daha Güzel. Good shows, good acting, even greater potential. I’d like to see each reach at least 13 episodes before cancellations. 

17. The next show on your list 

I think I need to finish the off-air dizis, like Afili Aşk (and many more), before I watch anything else. 😂

It's that time again. Djem is on her new bullshit. This time (I know, god help me) its House of the Dragon. In my defense, I never watched Game of the Thrones bc it was trash, and also this is the sort of fantasy show I have literally waited my whole life for so.

Anyway, as always, I tag my bullshit so feel free to mute when my behavior gets too much. I am currently not coping well with it (or coping excellently you chose). My dizi phase has passed (not saying I'll never watch again but in coming out of extreme stress and etc I recalled that I don't actually most shows set in modern day which is 90% of Turkish media so) yeah. 1. Your first dizi and how you discovered turkish dramas

Medcezir. It was back in 2014, I encountered this gif of yamira on the internet. After that I searched for other gifs and watched random scenes without subs (I didn't understand anything). Only in 2015 I decided to look for the show to watch with subs, and finally watched it.

2. Shows you're currently watching

I'm not watching anything right now. I'm giving a break from dizis, but I'll come back.

3. Your favorite genre of dizi (romcom, mafia show, contemporary drama, historical/fantasy, etc.)

Romcom. I love comedy and I love romance, so that's the perfect genre for me. But a show that has a cute pairing and a story that revolves around them it catches me. Drama is not my favorite genre bc I always lose excitement for the show after some time, but I tend to give it a try. I haven't tried any other genre, and I don't intend to.

4. The show you rewatched (parts of) the most

Medcezir. It's the first one, so it's the one I'm always coming back bc it's special. But Love 101 comes right after, it was the first dizi I watched after a long time, and it was in the beginning of the pandemic so it's kinda special to me too. It was like an awakening.

5. Favorite turkish actor and actress (feel free to pick multiples)

Serenay Sarıkaya, Çağatay Ulusoy, Hazar Ergüçlü, Demet Özdemir, Engin Öztürk, İpek Filiz Yazıcı, Kubilay Aka, Alperen Duymaz (although I haven't watched anything from him, every gif and video I see from his latest shows he's just funny and cute, maybe one day I'll watch something from him).

6. A show you quit before finishing

Kara Para Aşk, İçerde, Arıza (I tried but I have a problem with mafia shows). And Erkenci Kuş and Sen Çal Kapımı. One day I'll come back to EK, but SÇK I just can't anymore.

7. Favorite songs you have discovered in dizis

Bana Öyle Bakma from Teoman I discovered in Bana Sevmeyi Anlat; Kanatlarım var Ruhumda from Nil Karaibrahimgil, Isyan from Halil Sezai and Aşk Kırıntıları by Teoman I heard in Medcezir; Resmen Aşığım from Nil I know from SÇK.

8. The show whose plot disappointed you the most

Sen Çal Kapımı, after Serkan's memory loss I just couldn't continue. And Her Yerde Sen, everyone says they love this show but the way Demir handled their relationship problems by simply locking her up until she accepted listening to him was just toxic for me, and I just don't understand how nobody sees it. I just finished bc when I couldn't stand anymore it was the second to last ep already.

9. A show that was cancelled too soon/ran too long

Fortunately for me I never watched a dizi that was cancelled abruptly. As for the ones that ran too long, EK and SÇK. SÇK should have ended before all the memory loss thing.

10. Favorite characters

Mira (Medcezir); Sanem (EK); Sinan, Osman and Işık (Love 101).

11. Your favorite romantic pairings

Yamira (Medcezir), they don't do romantic scenes like theirs anymore, it's amazing the amount of times they make out in this dizi. Seriously. And they're so cute and good with each other, I love them; DicBar (Menajerimi Ara, I never watched this dizi but every gif and scene I see they're just perfect); Sinan and Işık (Love 101)

12. Favorite side characters

CeyCey (EK); Melo (SÇK); Mert and Eylül (Medcezir); Mühtar and Turan, only when he was with Mühtar (50m2)

13. Best kiss

It's Yamira's of course. It was hard to pick just one bc, like I said before, it's just too much making out. But after thinking about it, it has to be this one. They were both mad at each other so I was not expecting that kiss.

But there's another kiss I can't forget. Sinan and Işık are simply beautiful together.

14. An underrated show more people should watch

Love 101. I just feel that this show deserves more love than it has.

15. A show everyone loves that you aren't interested

Her Yerde Sen. I've already said my reasons, basically Demir was toxic and didn't respected Selin's choices. He treated her like a child at times, locking her up and not giving her time to digest the way he lied to her, and it bothered me, although she really behaved like a baby sometimes (which bothered me same). I couldn't ship them and sometimes I just watched bc of the side characters. Burak and Eylül were waaaay better together.

Other than that, I don't feel like watching Çukur, Hercai, Kiralık Aşk and many others. I have a friend who's watching KA and she's loving it, but I just don't feel it, you know.

16. A show you want to recomend right now

Medcezir. Just watch it if you like drama and romance. The first season is good but the second manages to make it better, especially the second half of it. Mira and Yaman's relationship just evolves to a new level, they trust each other and take care of each other, it's just beautiful (and most importantly, through most of the series they are together, they broke up twice in 77 eps, and the second time they spent like idk 10 ep apart, but when they get back together they don't separate anymore). And Serenay and Çağatay are just amazing in this dizi, they're great actors. And I recomend Love 101 too. It's funny, dramatic, romantic. The pace of the story is great, the relationships in this show evolve beautifully and we really get to root for the characters.

17. The next show on your list

The summer dizis: Cam Tavanlar, Baht Oyunu and Kazara Aşk. And I'm still waiting for Ada Masalı's teaser, but I'm planning on watching it.

1. Your first dizi & how you discovered Turkish dramas: it was a sad spring of 2019 and I stumbled upon a set of Erkenci Kuş gifs, and the chemistry between two main characters made me curious. At first I was obsessed with the show and was watching it non stop (I barely slept), then I lost my interest a little bit.  And although I was seriously hooked on the episodes that were released up to March, 2019, the end of season 1 and season 2 were rather disappointing.

2. Show(s) you’re currently watching: I'm currently rewatching Afili Aşk and as of current shows: Hercai and Sen Çal Kapımı (although I haven't watched 2 latest episodes)

3. Your favorite genre of dizi (romcom, mafia show, contemporary drama, historical/fantasy, etc.): I guess romcom and drama. I like beautiful views, stylish outfits, yearning, enemies to lovers and working at the same place tropes, drama and intrigues.

4. The show you rewatch (parts of) the most: definitely Kiralik Aşk. I also rewatched Erkenci Kuş when I was still on the peak of my obsession but I couldn't watch season 2 cause it's just bad

Kuzey Güney - I stopped in the middle of the first episode cause I felt too depressed just by watching it. Kiraz Mevsemi - also stopped mid first episode cause I wasn't really entertained

Also can we talk about the last episode of Dolunay cause I got beef with it. It’s like a 2-hour music show with 15 minutes worth of scenes???

A show that was cancelled too soon / ran too long: Hercai - it's just insane, my brain hurts every time I watch a new episode, so I think it's high time they finish it cause the plot lines are just too absurd already. I know I should stop watching it but I invested too much time in this dizi so I gotta finish it

1. Your first dizi & how you discovered Turkish dramas: My first dizi was Erkenci Kuş. I saw a gifset on my dash on night and basically fell in love. I remember it was like 2am on a school night, and after seeing the gifset, I immediately decided to watch it lol

2. Show(s) you’re currently watching: Son Yaz, Sen Çal Kapımı, and Maraşlı (although i’ve fallen a bit behind on this one)

3. Your favorite genre of dizi (romcom, mafia show, contemporary drama, historical/fantasy, etc.): romcom any day of the week, some dramas are a little too hard for me to handle, but there are some that I like and can take. I haven’t really given any of the other genres a try.

4. The show you rewatch (parts of) the most: The only show that I’ve rewatched in it’s entirety was Afili Aşk like right after it finished. The shows that I’ve rewatched parts of the most are prob Erkenci Kuş, Afili Aşk, and Sen Çal Kapımı (if that counts since it’s still on)

Favorite Turkish actor and actress (feel free to pick multiples): Alperen Duymaz is a new fav, Aybüke Pusat, Çağlar Ertuğrul, Demet Özdemir, Togla Saritaş, Hande Erçel, Funda Eryiğit I’m starting to really like, and you know who else I like that I never show enough appreciation for, Neslihan Atagül

9. A show that was cancelled too soon / ran too long: No.309 def ran too long, Erkenci Kuş too. Azize got cancelled way too soon, Sevgili Geçmis got cancelled way too soon as well, and honestly Her Yerde Sen too

10. Favorite Character(s): Suna Doğan (Benim Tatlı Yalanım) Kerem Yiğiter (Afili Aşk), Bahar Kutlu (Soz), Eda Yıldız (Sen Çal Kapımı), and my new bby Akgün Gökalp Taşkin

13. Best kiss: The second kiss between Yavuz (Togla Saritaş) and Bahar (Aybüke Pusat) in Söz when Yavuz tells her how he feels is reallly good. They have another one in ep31, after Yavuz leaves and comes back to apologize. That kiss is wow. And the whole scene in the bedroom in Afili Aşk ep36 is just so amazing and soft, it’ll forever make me cry.

14. An underrated show more people should watch: Son Yaz, Benim Tatlı Yalanım, Aşk 101 (idk if it’s necessarily underrated or if people aren’t watching it, but I don’t hear about it often)

15. A show everyone loves that you aren’t interested in: Def Kiralik Aşk, Hekimoğlu (idk if everyone loves it, but I always get requests to gif it lol) and idk how popular these are and idk how people feel about them on here, but based off ratings I’m gonna go with Kuruluş: Osman, Muzice Doktor, and Ramo. And lowkey Maraşlı (I’m giving it a chance, but honestly I’m not feelin it)

1. your first dizi & how you discovered Turkish dramas

it’s a little complicated hahahaha i first discovered dizis here on tumblr back on 2015 by seeing gifsets of magnificent century (nurbanu and selim, i miss them so much) but it was not the first dizi i watched bc the only channel i found had awful subtitles and sometimes russian dub; the first dizi i started watching was aşk laftan anlamaz, but around episode twenty-five the channel stopped posting the episodes; the first dizi i really watched through the end was kiralik aşk.

2. show(s) you’re currently watching

i’m not really watching that many dizis right now, i’m on day with maraşlı (bc i make the portuguese subtitles for it), i’m like six episodes behind in sen çal kapimi (and tbh i don’t want to catch up) and i watched the first episode of masumiyet last week.

3. your favorite genre of dizi (romcom, mafia show, contemporary drama, historical/fantasy, etc.):

i was always the rom-com girl type but i recently discovered that i’m more drawn to dramas/mafia shows that i could ever imagine. i’m also very found of historical dizis/movies/books bc that’s a huge part of me (well... after all i’m a history teacher).

4. the show you rewatch (parts of) the most:

i don’t know if it’s considered a dizi or just a netfix show, but i watched aşk 101 like... eight times last year. my yt is always recommending me videos of leyla and hakan in the protector, so i’m counting it. i’m always watching scenes of kiş güneşi too... and güneşin kizlari (lost count of how many times i watched videos of savnaz).

5. favorite Turkish actor and actress (feel free to pick multiples):

all my faves: çağatay ulusoy, ayça ayşin turan, merve boluğur, berk atan, hande erçel, burak deniz, mert yazıcıoğlu, ipek filiz yazıcı, sude zulal güler, emre bey,  neslihan atagül, uraz kaygılaroğlu, alperen duymaz, melisa döngel, esra bilgiç. i’ll stop here but there’s a lot more.

6. a show you quit before finishing:

that dizi i refuse to say the name (y’all know which one, the one that made awful decisions with the best characters they had... and now that these actors jump off the boat the writers are trying to survive by bringing into this mess another great actress just to make that hateful character someone worth watching) (yeah, i hold a lot of grudges) (at least now neslihan and uraz are free) and erkenci kus.

7. favorite song(s) you’ve discovered in dizi’s:

i don’t pay much attention on the soundtrack :( 

8. the show whose plot disappointed you the most:

again, the one i refuse typing the name. i think iyi günde kotü günde disappointed me but bc i was so invested and they didn’t gave us a reason for everything. 

9. a show that was cancelled too soon / ran too long:

again, iyi günde kotü günde. but i think zemheri had such a short life too. and i think that çukur and hercai are running too long. i mean, i don’t even know what’s happening anymore (ok that çukur had this kind of time jump and things revived a little)

right after i was born sjdfjkhsdf. i’ve been watching turkish dizi’s ever since i was little. it’s all we’ve really known, so ... i don’t really know what my first dizi ever was. but, here are some of my favorite dizi’s that i’ve watched when i was little: melekler korusun, hepsi bir, acemi cadi, karagül, iki aile, shirli annem.

A show that was cancelled too soon / ran too long: Servet got cancelled too soon and in the weirdest moment ever (the hell they were thinking when they where decided to end it in the middle of the scene in the morgue) and sahane damat ( i could watch at least ten more epigsodes of these crazy couple :)) too lon erkenci kus and o hayat benim (in the end i didn’t even remember what was it about at the first place).

I've been watching dizis for quite a long time now( 10 years lol ). So my first dizi is actually very old, it's called  Haziran Gecesi and it was broadcasting in my country. Here in Balkan dizis are extremely popular, so that's how my journey began.

2. Show(s) you're currently watching?

I am watching Sen Çal Kapimi and Marasli live every week and rewatching Kuzgun. Also I'm kinda watching Ramo but not regularly.

3. Your favorite genre of dizi (romcom, mafia show, contemporary drama, historical/fantasy, etc.) Hard question idk I like them all, but maybe mafia i guess.

4. The show you rewatch (parts of) the most -  It's  probably Kiralik Ask bc that's my comfort dizi and maybe Ask Yeniden that was a funny show.

5. Favorite Turkish actor and actress (feel free to pick multiples) - okay so rn ( and probably always lol) Hande Erçel and Kerem Bürsin, but I also like Baris Arduc,Burak Deniz,Aras Bulut İynemli,Ezgi Mola is very good also, hm omg I almost forgot Cagatay Ulusoy, Murat Yildrim and many more of whom I can't think of right now.

6. A show you quit before finishing - Omg I quite often do that,so the list is very long. Probably every dizi with Can Yaman I just can't  stand him, I started Erkenci kus because I love Demet sm but I just couldn't finish it.

7. Favorite song(s) you’ve discovered in dizis -  omg I don't  know I have a new favorite song every day. Right now maybe Kül from Cem Adrian and it's not about dizi itself its because of EdSer edit.

8. The show whose plot disappointed you the most - Probably Ramo and SÇK. I can't drop SÇK because I'm emotionally attached to it and because of Hanker of course so I'm not gonna talk about it. Ramo s1 was probably one of the best I ever watched but now they screw up and I'm very disappointed.

1. Your first dizi & how you discovered Turkish dramas: That answer has 2 parts: I first stumbled on a scene of Kiralık Aşk of season 2 on youtube through a google search that was basically begging the algorithm to give me a romcom since I felt like I had watched everything Hollywood had to offer. It was 2016 and I couldn’t find any subtitles but I fell in love, I saw it had a huge season 1 so it took me a while to find the subtitles to watch from the beginning. By then Erkenci Kuş was being promoted, people in my country fell in love, and because of that there were subtitles from episode 1, so I feel like both of those series are my answer for that question, because when I watched the one episode of EK, I watched KA episodes during the whole week I waited for a new EK one.

2. Show(s) you’re currently watching: ooh boy, here we go: sen çal kapımı, menajerimi ara, hercai, arıza, sadakatsiz, son yaz, I was watching sol yanım but it got cancelled, I began içerde two weeks ago and I have yet to finish 50m2 cause there are like 3 episodes left.

3. Your favorite genre of dizi (romcom, mafia show, contemporary drama, historical/fantasy, etc.): it’s always romcom, it was why I got into this, why I’m studying a whole new language I probably won’t ever use in real life, and even though the path almost all of them choose to go after episode 20 something pisses me off and makes me want to drop everything, like it’s happening with sen çal at the moment, I’ll always go here.

4. The show you rewatch (parts of) the most: Kiralık Aşk, I always rewatch it, it’s my safe place.

5. Favorite Turkish actor and actress (feel free to pick multiples): are you mad? How can I choose among my children? Off... tamam, I’ll pick multiples and this is not an order of who I like the most: elçin sangu, barış arduç, çağlar ertuğrul, demet özdemir, tolga sarıtaş, hande erçel, aras bulut iynemli (the man is a legend best actor of his generation to me), çagatay ulusoy, ahsen eroğlu, too many to name but those are the ones that come to mind now, I know I’m going to regret this.

6. A show you quit before finishing: I was about to drop Erkeci Kuş when they announced the ending because I could not handle Can after the memory loss, and I did drop Afili Aşk after Kerem asked Ceyda to be his bride, they ruined a perfectly good character for nothing, in my opinion.

8. The show whose plot disappointed you the most: Aşk Laftan Anlamaz, Afili Aşk right there at the ending and now Sen Çal Kapımı.

A show that was cancelled too soon / ran too long: Şeref Sözü, I mean 4 episodes was just absurd, yeni hayat, I wanted a bit more of Her Yerde Sen, I feel like they left us too soon and Sol Yanim had more to tell us too / Erkenci Kuş ran too long, and to me they could have ended Afili Aşk a little bit sooner just so I didn’t have to watch ceyda and that circus at the end.

10. Favorite Character(s): ömer iplikçi, kerem yiğiter, ayşe yiğiter, hülya çamoğlu cevher, eda yıldız, serkan bolat, selin sever, sanem aydın, can’t remember the rest.

Best kiss: I usually love the magic of the first kiss in dizis, they usually make it very special moments, so I like the first kisses in Kiralık Aşk, Sen Çal Kapımı, speaking aesthetically I think Demir and Selin’s first kiss is really beautiful, that’s in her yerde sen, and also serkan and eda’s iconic sana deli gibi aşık oldum moment made for a beautiful kiss too.

14. An underrated show more people should watch: I only have current shows one my mind so definitely menajerimi ara and I feel like people are sleeping on son yaz.

15. A show everyone loves that you aren’t interested in: muzice doktor, alev alev and doğduğun ev kaderindir, even though demet is on it, I could not get into it.

16. A show you want to recommend right now: menajerimi ara, son yaz and masumiyet.

17. The next show on your list: I am watching Teşkilat’s commercial break for the first episode as I answer this tag and I am loving it. Then there’s the second episode of maraşlı, masumlar apartmanı, yeşilçam, içerde (trying to watch it) and kuzgun.

I started watching Magnificent Century after my friend @angeliatheturkishdelight, who was studying the Ottoman Empire, recommended it.  She liked Aras Bulut Iynemli, so after the English subs I was watching got taken off youtube before he showed up, I started watching his other shows/movies instead, and then followed the cast of those to other projects.

Icerde (in Turkish/Spanish), Medcezir (in English), and rewatching Maral BUT FINALLY WITH ENGLISH SUBS AND I AM THRILLED ABOUT IT

I think every one I’ve watched has been a different genre :p  I like family/found-family plotlines, and stories that don’t revolve around Love Only (I want developed background characters/plots and for the leads to have other ambitions than Just Romance.)

Season 2 of Maral (dropped plotlines, new characters I Absolutely Did Not Care About, treating Maral as a side character IN HER OWN SHOW) and The Protector (especially S1)

LISTEN, Maral is ridiculous but it is MY ridiculous favorite and I want more people to experience it :’D

I feel like I haven’t heard as much about movies as shows, so I absolutely recommend Miracle in Cell No. 7, Sadece Sen, Delibal (tw suicide), and One Way to Tomorrow.

17. the next show on your list:  

I am SO EXCITED for Paper Lives (Cagatay’s new movie) on March 12th!!!  I’m less excited for his new show, but I’ll watch it anyway. :p

1. your first dizi & how you discovered Turkish dramas :

So, this is a long story so TL;DR: Kiralik Ask and facebook groups. 

Now, for the long story. It might have been 10 years ago now? probably less? I don’t know, since the end of highschool I have lost consciousness of time and what a year is and when it ends. Anyway, Kiralik Ask was all the rage in Italy and in the facebook groups I was in, people were talking about this and Cherry Season a lot (I’m pretty sure this wasn’t 10 years ago but I’m dramatic) and I became obsessed with all the videos and things and everything (of KA, I didn’t care for Cherry Season) BUT I did not watch it then. Years later, like maybe three years ago? maybe 2? No idea. I discovered Vatanim Sensin thanks to @rescuemeifyoucan and her posts about it and became obsessed with that as well so, like a normal person, I searched for Hileon videos on YouTube and found every single scene they were in (only Hileon scenes) and watched a lot of those videos, probably 3/4 of the first season, stayed up all night (fun fact, I went to sleep at like 8 in the morning and when I woke up a couple hours later I got called and did my stage/started working at the place I’m at) and that was my initiation to Turkish shows but since I did not actually watch it, only precise scenes, that is not technically my first dizi. About 2 weeks of VS and only VS I decided that it was time to watch KA (because I found a playlist of YT of every episode from the beginning with Italian subtitles and others in English subtitles if the Italian ones were missing) so technically this is my first actual turkish dizi watched, since it is the first dizi that I have seen complete episodes of, from the first episode.

2. show(s) you’re currently watching:

Technically none but also technically thousands. So, technically (expect this word to be the most used in this post) I am currently watching Menajerimi  Ara (haven’t watched since more than two months ago probably), Alev Alev (last watched I think last month) 50m2 (again, last watched last month), Kiralik Ask (it’s been a few years actually BUT I haven’t given up on it yet and I will continue it... someday), Her Yerde Sen (last watched probably last year? Maybe start of the pandemic, maybe before that), Kuzey Yildiz (last watched I think the end of last year), Halka (I have no idea when I stopped with this honestly), Kara Para Ask (last year? maybe? Before Her Yerde Sen I think), Benim Tatli Yalanim (around the time of HYS), Kimse Bilmez (again, around HYS time). I haven’t seen any of these for some time but they are all shows that I plan to continue sooner or later. It’s all shows I loved but put aside because I found a new obsession but I do get back to them sometimes.

3. your favorite genre of dizi (romcom, mafia show, contemporary drama, historical/fantasy, etc.):

Romcom. I do like some dramas but I tend to hate almost all of the characters except a selected few and I can’t handle all that hate, my liver cannot survive it.

4. the show you rewatch (parts of) the most:

I think KA? or MA? or HYS? They are my favorite shows of the ones I have started. Also Ask 101 (the only Turkish show I have actually completed and only because it’s not 10 thousand episodes long and it’s easily available on Netflix so it’s easy to rewatch again)

5. favorite Turkish actor and actress (feel free to pick multiples):

I have this problem, it’s names, I rarely know the names of actors, if I know them I forget them, I sometimes mistake the character’s name with the actor’s name, sometimes the opposite so let’s try this and see what mess comes out: 

Aybuke Pusat, the guy who played Demir on HYS, the two friends of Selin from HYS and the receptionist. Elcin (?) and Baris (?) from KA, Burcu (?), Alina, Kubilay, and the other kids from Ask 101, Dicle and Baris and Julide from MA, Hilal and Leon from VS, Cicek di Alev Alev, Cagatay Ulusoy (I remember his name! my beloved CaCa), The female protagonist of KPA (she was also in the first episode of MA which is the reason why I started that show), Hande Ercel, Kerem Bursin, Elcin (?), Melisa, the one who played the third main friend, the red headed girl, all from SCK, Ismail (?) and the actress of Yildiz from Kuzey Yildiz, also the three girls from there. Most of the cast of Hercai, although I hate more than half of the characters. 

I feel so bad that I don’t remember their name. I swear I love them!

6. a show you quit before finishing:

A few. First and foremost Sefirin Kizi (couldn’t get past episode 1). Erkenci Kus (hated the direction it was going, which was in circles), Ask Laftan Anlamaz (hated hated hated the lie that guy protagonist said. Wanted to watch after but I can’t do that to myself). Sad to say but also Sen Cal Kapimi. I loved it SO MUCH and then first he does that stupid break up thing that I hate (because it similarly happened in ALS and that is the whole reason why I never finished that show so already not a good start), then it seems to be picking up and we got the amnesia thing so yeah, nope, not doing it. Afili Ask (I liked it but not enough to continue and I have to give up on a few shows). Also probably Hercai since I enjoy how it ended in season one and never felt the urge to continue.

Technically most of the answers from the 2 question apply here as well but I do intend on continuing those, these ones, however, I will not continue. 

7. favorite song(s) you’ve discovered in dizi’s:

Birakman Dogru Mu 2 by Zeynep Bastik and Anil Piyanci, heard on Menajerimi Ara and the song that started my love for pop songs made in Turkey

8. the show whose plot disappointed you the most:

Sen Cal Kapimi and Ask Laftan Anlamaz are the ones that first come to mind. And Erkenci Kus. God, Erkenci Kus disappointed me SO MUCH.

9. a show that was cancelled too soon / ran too long:

Ran too long: definitely EK. And SCK (sorry not sorry, it should have ended right before the amnesia).

Cancelled too soon: I don’t usually watch shows that get cancelled soon (in the sense that I usually wait a bit before watching a show because I wouldn’t want for it to be cancelled while I am passionate about it) and technically I do not yet know if they were cancelled too soon, but I would say HYS and Benim Tatli Yalanim because I was loving them and I have less than 10-15 episodes left to watch

10. favorite character(s):  

The children in every drama are my favorite so Gul (Hercai), the children in Alev Alev, the child in Sefirin Kizi (the only character to save themselves in that show except for Gediz), the girl from BTY, Bulut (?) from Dolunay. Also CeyCey (EK), Baris and Dicle from MA, basically the entire cast of SCK (I might hate the direction where this is going but I do love the characters), the main characters from ALA (except for the main male protagonist, he can choke), the main characters from Atesbocegi, Suna from BTY, Reyyan (Hercai), a lot of others, I just don’t remember the names.

11. your favorite romantic pairing(s):

ReyMir (Hercai), LeyEm (Erkenci Kuş), Edser (Sen Çal Kapımı), Defom (Kiralık Aşk), SelDem (HYS), Suna x Nejat (BTY), DicBar (MA), Bahar x Kaan (Halka), Ibo x Ayda (?) (HYS), YilKuz (Kuzey Yildiz), probably others. 

12. favorite side character(s):

Cey Cey (Erkenci Kuş), Julide (MA) (I know people hate her but to the moment I’m at, I still love her), Ayda (?) (HYS), Burcu (BTY), again, others but I don’t remember the names.

13. best kiss:

I love the fire side (?)  kiss between Selin and Demir from HYS as well as their kiss when she thinks that he stood her up when in fact he didn’t even know that he was supposed to go on a date with her and so she gets pissed off (rightfully so) and he chases after her and OMG I love them! Also the first and second kiss between Nejat and Suna. These last three I have made gifs of, and they were my first gifs, unedited, kinda ugly, but I love them (not saying that I make good gifs now because I do not, they are still ugly and unedited but not my firsts anymore).

14. an underrated show more people should watch: 

Her Yerde Sen. And Benim Tatli Yalanim. And Menajerimi Ara (although more people were getting into it). And Alev Alev.

15. a show everyone loves that you aren’t interested in:

The one with Demet Ozdemir (BOK I believe is the tag). Never was interested in it but based on gifs alone, I think they had the character who is either played by an actor whose name is Ismail or the character is called Ismail make a 180 from season 1 to season 2 and I hate it when they do this kind of things in books and series (I might be wrong though) so now I have even less interest in it. Also Son Yaz. The gifs, I love them, but I don’t want to actively watch the show. I’ll enjoy it from gifs and posts about it.

16. a show you want to recommend right now:  

Menajerimi Ara, Kara Para Ask, Her Yerde Sen, Alev Alev, Benim Tatly Yalanim.

none, to be honest. I mean, I already have a LOOOONG list of shows to finish so it’s better that way.
