we’ve made it to Episode VII of our Star Wars marathon, and I’ve suddenly faceplanted into a brand new headcanon:

Poe Dameron has auditory processing disorder

FN-whatever? now you're Finn' #now I'm going to watch Eps7-9 looking for more evidence that Finn can *hear* just fine but he can't *process* what he hears all that well #the pandemic really proved to me how much I depend on lipreading to differentiate consonant sounds #if you're wearing a mask I understand maybe 50% of what you're saying #it's fucking awful #so for Poe to be forced to talk to people wearing rigid masks AND using voice modulators #yeah I'm with you Poe I wouldn't be able to understand a thing Kylo is saying either #headcanon accepted #or more like #headcanon spontaneously appearing lol
