OUH I do agree with the unluckytug (and you) on nia. I really wish mattel didnt do such a shit job with the BWBA era .I think my love of her is me being contrarian + shes LOVELY in the movie and should have been expanded on, she deserved better and so does everyone she represents

You are speaking the truth right now. Nia should be more than just the stripe deco she has, just like how Hiro was introduced as example. I don't know a whole lot about him, everything has been from the fandom so far, and while people do seem to like to keep reminding that he's asian...which may not be so ok for the same reason...there was none of that in canon. He was there being him and no constant mentioning of Japan was ever uttered in more than one episode to my knowledge. That means you can have your culture representation and not be annoying about it mattel. >8[ I think it's clear now that you can have the trains with ethnic faces, embellishments and such too and not have it be a problem, just don't have it at the forefront like that's all the character could ever be.
