tbh qslime and flippa is still by far the most compelling and my favorite parent and egg relationship on the server. he was never a good parent, he was so fucking bad at it, but god he loved her so much and she loved him back. he'd rather live in denial and put the blame on someone else than reckon with the regret of how he couldve been so much better because he loves her and it HURTS to think that he could be to blame for any of it.

sorry i love qslime and i think his story really is the pinnacle of how much the islanders refuse to truly give up on each other because he tried to kill ALL the eggs. and they still care about his loss and when they see the code infection godDAMN this server's refusal to let someone go from support just because theyre not a good person really gets to me it really does

and for the record the fact that qslime isnt really that great of a guy is part of why his story really Gets to me in such a way

even though hes literally losing his humanity (if he was human at all?) through the code infection, he's still so painfully human at his core and the other residents refuse to deny him that. they have every right to be worried about him rejecting sunny in a violent way because theyve seen it before. they know he's capable of it. but they also understand why. maybe if they help him that wont have to happen again. thats just my thoughts tho
