My favorite cause and effect is that because of sans fangirl cringe compilations I know what homestuck is, which I guess is more of a sequence of events but still

#okay so I used to watch this YouTube channel called hi I’m duck face #and it was this tts guy who personified himself with a badly cropped :V #and he made these videos reacting to sans fangirls #listen man it was a dark pre knowing about homestuck era for me #and at the end of most videos he would quickly be like but you know who hasn’t done anything wrong and then look up vriska serket #calling her his wife #yeah whole thing in hindsight he was kind of a weird dude in general #not because of the homestuck or anything just the red obsession with vriska #but I digress #well for a bit I just ignored it because it was too fast for me to read and hussies art style is an acquired taste #and she therefore looked weird and wacky #but then one day on YouTube I looked up who’s vriska #and then I looked up on YouTube what’s homestuck #and then I watched a 40 minute video on its effects on history #then the final mail in the coffin was me watching people voice act homestuck #the rest is history
