Fix: Asian Window emits light

TL;DR

with this mod, the asian window from the World Adventures Expansion Pack emits light

the catalog-name is "King Qing’s Window"

Installation: just put all the files in your packages-folder, the usual way, merging is no problem

Conflicts: unlikely, see below for detail

Hey Simmers, Rudi has a small fix for you today: it's time for my eleventh mod 🦙

While I built my asian mansion, I stumbled over this pretty cool looking paper window, which just emits no light. For no obvious reason. So I fixed it. With this mod, the asian window (catalog-name: "King Qing’s Window") from the World Adventures Expansion emits a realistic level of light.

How to install

Installation: just put all the files in your packages-folder, the usual way, nothing special required, you can merge them as well

requires the World Adventures Expansion Pack to work

merging is no problem

Recommended Mods, that further fix windows, lighting and related objects

Hidden Stencils Unlocked by simsi45

Reworked & Improved EA Lights by simsi45

Fixes for the broken lights in EA glass doors and arches by plasticbox

Technical Details

this mod edits the "LITE" resource from the asian window, name: "windowAsianRectangular_lightingdata", instance: 0xE9F65BE1B3D53ED4

Conflicts: only if you have a mod installed who's editing exactly this resource as well, but I assume that's pretty unlikely

use delphys dashboard to check for conflicts

I know this is late, I was hospitalized twice while converting this, but I wanted to convert the entirety of the Pastel Pop kit all in one place. I know other converters have gone through doing pieces of it, but I wanted to make a highly create-a-style tool compatible set.

Maybe my set will be the one people enjoy because of create-a-style tool compatibility or something, I don't know... so I want to put it out for all of you even if pieces have been done before. So here it is :)

Converted to Sims 3 and packaged into a .zip file over at SimFileShare. Most pieces have at least one part if not all of it compatible with the create-a-style tool. There's also a collection file included - PLEASE - Tell me if the collection file I included was the incorrect one.

Again, maybe some of my conversions will be preferred, and maybe you'll prefer the conversion from another creator. It's no hard feelings.

FYI the big bench can be used as a seating for the long dining table - as the original Sims 4 version intended. I had to change the table's route setting so sims can sit on the bench, this means sims will walk through the table. Hope this won't bother you!

Did u know that TheSims3 has on an algorithm that provides colors that are visually appealing to the eye? After selecting the palette of your choice, click on the color to receive improved variations (right click). This has been here since 2009!! Check the video and share <3

*Correction: Despite the article that led me to this, I learned that this is a nrass feature. Either way it's still something surprising and new. I was there for a long time.
