#i watched a couple #i sort of hate it #on the principal of what the addmas family is For #theyre the fantasy of cultivating a safe space for weirdos #away from the way the world would pathologize them #and the show is just like #lets make wednesday get literally pathologized #this cpuld have probably been a fun show if they hadnt tried to make it addams family. just make a show about a weird girl #id watch that #the addams family are better than this #and yet everyone looks at the resident goth and says HEY HAVE YOU WATCHED WEDNESDAY #yes and its not goth enough #also the relationships are Off #within the family itself #i could say more but these tags are already too long #its also very modern tim burton in style which is to say....bland #anyway not my favorite thing ive watched. not my idea of a good time #tbf tho id give it another chance if they DID make them gay #@ world lmk if it happens
