this whole chapter got me crying holy shit lakjsdflkasf this manga is so intense emotionally??? jfc this chapter was really intense, jesus.

watching yoh get beaten up so badly by the tao family hurts me, it hurts my heart. i watched him get beaten to unconsiousness 3 times. fuck man.

its only chapter 13 but man this chapter really shines with how well-written and developed this story is. like we see hints of mind controlling since the start for lee pyron. we see yoh getting attack and beaten to unconsiousness by this and feel like this is so unfair and just torture...but instead of revealing he is controlled from the start, they reveal the truth in the middle and let all the feelings crash down on you and just fuck man.  maybe thats basic or a common forumla of storytelling but its just so well done here and i’m emotionally wrecked even though i knew what was coming already. to make me feel so heartbroken for pyron’s siutation and the tao family over and over and over without fail is honestly a success in my book with moving storytelling.

im crying. stop please.
