"The Titans. Dick didn't need to pull this team together. It formed around him."
No you're right, Bruce, Dick didn't need to pull this team together, Raven did.

Your opinion on Titans? (The TV Series)
Tbh, there are a lot more things I hate about it than things I like about it (which is why this post is just going to be me ranting about the things I hate). I think they've got some of the pieces they need to make a good show, but instead of all the pieces fitting together like a puzzle, it's more like pieces of a Jenga tower where the wrong pieces get moved and cause the tower to crumble.
For one thing, the progression of the show from S1 to S3 has slowly turned into a batfam show. The show, in accordance with its name, should be about the Titans. I think they really fucked up by keeping Jason around for more than one episode. I feel like his presence green-lit Babs, Tim, and other Gotham villains to come into the picture. Like. If they wanted to make a batfam show, they should've made a fuckin batfam show instead of commandeering the Titans.
Now the show is taking screentime and possible storylines away from the Titans in order to focus on the batfam storylines. People like Gar get pushed to the side. The more characters they bring on each season, the less time there is to develop the original core Titans group. It's the exact same pitfall Young Justice fell into.
Titans pulled another Young Justice and put Conner on this team which I hate. Conner has his own team. Dick, Kory, etc. aren't his core friend group. They're not his team. For some reason, Titans thought they needed a super on this team when they literally don't because Kory and Donna are Right There. (Also *cough* Hank and Dawn can go bc nobody cares about them and someone else could be using their screentime instead *cough*)
A lot of people in the fandom like this show for the family vibes, and I obviously love the family vibes we see from the Titans in the comics. Personally, I still haven't really gotten the family vibes I'm looking for from Titans. They mostly just feel like a dysfunctional group to me who need to work out their trust with each other. The drama between the old Titans and Dick in S2 certainly didn't help with that. So if we could get some development on that end, that would be swell.
Oh, and Garth and Donna's deaths were stupid.
I could go on but, basically, I think this show should start over alskdja. (Kory should keep that costume though bc she looks fuckin fabulous.)
