"i know this isn't how you want to spend christmas," elliot started and looked over at his ex partner, "but uh, it means a lot that you'd do this. i don't want everyone asking what happened. i just want to pretend it didn't happen for one more night." he still wasn't stoked it happened at all and he kept wishing he'd wake up and it would be some sort of bad dream. unfortunately, that had yet to be the case. "let's get in there before we start getting phone calls asking if we're on our way yet."
