outside sawyer's apartment — @demidevildiva
Tumblr media
Music plays softly in her earbud as she walks down the street toward her apartment complex. Tomorrow, she'd show up to Kidd Records and hope she still had a job there. If she didn't, it would be going back to the Pink Paradise and begging to take back her two week notice until she could figure it out. Once she told Julian about her place, he was on board. Even told her to thank Dante for getting her an out because he never understood why she would do that to herself. The blonde she met earlier making her realize she shouldn't be hiding the fact she's trying to be sober. What was wrong with that? She glances down to her phone, clicking the skip button.
She turns the corner to the apartment complex, reaching into her bag to pull out her keys. She reaches out and grabs the front door and walks in, heading up the stairs. She looks down at her keys, shuffling through them to grab the one for her apartment. She lifts her eyes up to see Dante standing outside her door, his hand raising up to knock but pausing before making contact. She almost goes to hide behind a wall but he turns around and catches her standing there instead. She reaches up and takes one of her earbuds out. "Hi."

Wanted Plots/Threads:
911:
-My oc Sophia being Eddie's best friend since childhood finally moving to LA. Maybe even helping him with his sexuality and crush on Buck? Or Buck getting jealous that they're spending more time together and she has to basically spell it out for him.
-Sophia being a long lost Buckley sibling. This post explains it!
OneChicago:
Putting Sophia with literally anyone from OneChicago but huge bonus for:
-big brother/little sister bond with Adam Ruzek.
-Anything with romantic intentions (not necessarily shipping) with Dante Torres, Kevin Atwater, Hailey Upton, Stella Kidd, or Kelly Severide. And I know they aren't OneChicago but also with Joe Velasco or Grace Muncy from SVU.
~~~~~~
Like this or shoot me a message if you want to do something involving any of this! I'd prefer discord (that I haven't used in forever lol) but we can keep to tumblr if desired!
Or send in a meme to break the ice! Just give a hint as to what fandom it is lol. And don't worry about the age of the meme or theme- I'm slowly coming back so everything is kind of old.
She ropes Samantha into helping at her boutique, but a string of jewelry thefts threatens her business. And when Cat’s husband is found strangled with pearls inside the shop, the last thing she’s concerned with is profit. Samantha tries to get a bead on the killer, but when the suspects all clam up, she’s left tangled in knots. Add in an unexpected proposal, a flirtatious friend, and a brand new detective, and this is bound to be Samantha’s wildest adventure yet.
Cement Stilettos: A Samantha Kidd Humorous Mystery Cozy Mystery 7th in Series Polyester Press (June 13, 2017) Print Length: 255 pages ASIN: B06ZY1B1TR
    Forget the cannoli. Take the shoes!
When newly engaged amateur sleuth Samantha Kidd discovers the body of a mafia princess dead in fiancé and shoe designer Nick Taylor’s showroom, her questions are so numerous she’d need a bookie to keep track. The victim’s ties to local organized crime are unexpected. Nick’s apparent vow of silence makes Samantha question the vows in their future, and despite past promises, all bets are off. Wise guys and leopard ladies keep her busier than a consigliere during tax season, and if she can’t keep her head above water, she’ll end up sleeping with the fishes.
About The Author
I’m a former fashion buyer turned mystery writer, trading fashion accessories for accessories to murder. I was bit by the mystery bug as a kid reading Trixie Belden, Connie Blair, and The Three Investigators. Now I’m writing three series: the Style & Error Mysteries, the Mad for Mod Mysteries, and the Material Witness Mysteries.
The Costume Shop mysteries debuted with A DISGUISE TO DIE FOR , which introduces Margo Tamblyn, costume shop owner, who helps solve a murder after one of her clients is found dead at his own costume party (dressed as Sherlock!). MASKING FOR TROUBLE , the second in the series was released last October and Dressed to Confess  will be out in August 2017.
The Material Witness mysteries feature Polyester Monroe, who inherits the fabric shop where she was born. Books include SUEDE TO REST  and CRUSHED VELVET . The third, SILK STALKINGS,  was just released.
The Style & Error Series features former fashion buyer turned amateur sleuth Samantha Kidd. Books in that series include DESIGNER DIRTY LAUNDRY ; BUYER, BEWARE ; THE BRIM REAPER ; SOME LIKE IT HAUTE, GRAND THEFT RETRO, and Pearls Gone Wild. (A short story, “Just Kidding ,” tells the story of how Samantha first met shoe designer Nick Taylor).
The Madison Night Mysteries feature a modern day interior decorator who specializes in midcentury design (studying Doris Day movies to get the look right). Books are PILLOW STALK ,THAT TOUCH OF INK , and WITH VICS YOU GET EGGROLL . A prequel novella, “Midnight Ice,” can be found in OTHER PEOPLE’S BAGGAGE .
the beach — @demidevildiva
Holding her ice cream cone, the sounds of the waves crashing against one another are more soothing than she can even explain. It's about midafternoon the night after her confession. She's still waiting for the other shoe to drop, the anger to explode. She wonders if he's holding it all in because he thinks she can't handle it. She licks at the ice cream, her head turning to look over at him. "You're quiet." She whispers. "You've been quiet all day.. pretty much." She keeps her eyes on him, hoping to read some underlining words behind his expression.
sawyer's place — closed @demidevildiva
Sawyer looks at her phone resting against the coffee table, a single come over text message she sent to him five minutes ago. Nerves make this even worse because she can only imagine how he's going to react... how he's going to look at her after the words leave her mouth but she realizes after Daniela's murder. She has to tell everyone. As much as she would like to tell Myles, there's no point in making his life harder than it already is so... She hears the key in the door, her head raising up to look at Dante walking in. "Hi."
their home — @demidevildiva
Sawyer steps out of the shower, wrapping one of their towels around her. She walks over to the counter, looking in the mirror. She closes her eyes, inhaling deeply. As her eyes open, there is a figure passing by her. She gasps. "Oh my God," she murmurs, a little laugh leaves her once she realizes its Dante. "You scared me." She turns to look over at him. "You got the twins down that fast?" Although she doesn't know how long she's been in the shower for.
their place — @demidevildiva
Sawyer shuts the front door behind her, the lights are off. She doesn't have an explanation for him, not one that will make sense. She shrugs off her jacket and moves to hang it up in the closet. She closes the closet door and makes her way to his bedroom, placing her hand on the door knob. She exhales, chewing on her lower lip. She opens the door and steps into the bedroom, walking over to the side of the bed she used to lay next to. She sits down on the floor and leans back, laying on on the floor as she glances over to the edge of the bed where he lays. "Penny for your thoughts?"
kidd's records — @demidevildiva
Sawyer stands up from her desk, grabbing her bag. Somehow the hours seemed to go by quicker than she thought they would with the looming we should talk about something conversation was dropped in the text messages. She did what Dante told her too though and didn't worry about it. At least until the clock struck five and it was time to face the music. She waits by her desk, moving some things around to make it more tidy when she sees him from the corner of her eye. The butterflies instantly fly around in the pit of her stomach, her lips press together into a tight lip smile. "Hi," she clears her throat. "Ready?"
fright fest w/ @demidevildiva
Tumblr media
Sawyer holds her water in her hand, glancing around the area around her. Her eyes find him in the crowd, inhaling sharply as she notices the woman wearing a matching costume next to him. Her fingers dig a little harder into the plastic cup in her grasp, pulling her eyes away when she hears Dante's voice. "Hey, hey." She clears her throat. "You ready to get up there soon?"
Sawyer kicks off her shoes. She's been solely living off adrenaline the last twenty-four hours. After the news spread through the museum and Leo's name was dropped, there was no talking the blonde out of not being at the hospital until the news he was okay or not came out. She gave Philly her number and told her to keep her in the loop, to let her know when it would be okay to come see Leo because she didn't want to overwhelm him when he wakes up. She blinks a few times as she looks down at the dress she was wearing the night before. Truly, she should go sit in the shower and wash the nothing she feels away.
Her phone beeps, her eyes dropping down to look at the text message from Philly. LEO IS OK-PHILLY. Maybe they are reminding her they didn't lose him. She feels the tears fill her eyes, walking over to her side of the bed as she places her phone down on the nightstand. She sits down on the bed, staring at her hands. Her emotions boiling up to the surface as she allows the tears to fall, the second the bed sinks down next to her she sobs. "Oh my God." She breathes out as she leans her head to rest it against Dante, her hands moving up to wipe her tears away, not being able to stop the waves that have been holding back until now.
DATE: february 2nd, 2024 WHERE: their place SUMMARY: dante confesses to sleeping with frankie, sawyer moves out of their room into another one.
Sawyer: Water runs across the dish as she scrubs it with the sponge in her hand. Pawpaw has been in bed for hours and the brief text she got from Dante to let her know he was staying a little later at the studio she hadn't really expecting for him to come home for a few hours. She hears the front door open a shut, a soft smile curves her features as she turns her head to look over her shoulder at him as she keeps scrubbing at the dish. "I packed leftovers in case you didn't eat but I'm hoping that's not the case." She glances over at him again. "How was the studio?"
Dante: "No, I ate. Don't you worry." he replied, walking around the kitchen island to plant a kiss on her head, then her forehead and trailed his way down her featured until he got to her lips. "Frankie came over with some lasagna from their birthday get together thing. He was anxious that I didn't answer my phone, but I was so busy." Dante still didn't know exactly what it was. A lasagna party disguised as a birthday dinner or something. But he understood the need behind having to hide it if Frankie wasn't entirely used to or comfortable with his birthday. "Got a lot done. Shouldn't take too long before I can start working from here once more. How was your day?"
Sawyer: "Good." Sawyer places the plate down in the sink with the sponge on top of it so she can move her hands to dry them off, a smile curving her features as his lips trail across her skin. "Oh, that sounds nice. I'm glad you have other people out there looking out for you." She wipes her hands, tossing the towel onto the counter as she moves to put her hands on each side of his neck, brushing her thumbs against his skin. "I also understand getting anxious when you don't answer the phone especially if you're going to stay there so late." She pulls her head back, her eyes lifting up to look at him. "Don't worry, I'm patient." She chuckles. "Good, good. Read a book, watched some television and ate some snacks that Pawpaw judged me for." She teases.
Dante: "I know, sorry. I get lost in that place, I can't help it." Dante replied, pursing his lips. Music had always been the one thing that he wasn't able to put aside. It was like the vibrations called to him, urging him to keep going even past his ability to stay awake. "I did bring back some lasagna. It was too much for me to eat all alone, and Frankie didn't want to share with me. Said he was stuffed which with the amount I seen in their bag I can only believe him right?" He could vividly remember at least three other tupperware containers in Frankie's tote. "Nothing new, then?" he said teasingly, as he weaved his arms around her waist. Pausing to his their little bump a gentle tickle with his own stomach before bringing her into his arms. "You could have left the dishes for me, you know."
Sawyer: "It's okay, I know." Sawyer brushes her thumb along his jawline. She's been worried about him, knowing that he was holding a lot in and putting up a wall to act like he was moving through life perfectly fine. "Oh, where is it? I'll put it in the fridge and maybe pawpaw will eat for lunch or something." She nods her head. "I can imagine if he came from the party he already ate." She laughs, shaking her head at his words. "No nothing new." She murmurs, raising her arms to wrap them around his neck, her fingers interlocking behind him as she glances down to his own stomach touching the bump. "I feel like I'm getting bigger every day." She chuckles. Her eyes raise up to him, shaking her head. "You work all day. You don't need to come home and do chores." She moves her fingers through his hair. "I can get a bath started if you want."
Dante: "I think I might have left it at the studio." he said sheepishly, "Me and Frankie got t-." Dante stopped himself for a moment focusing on the scene before him before his eyes locked back up to hers. There was an odd sensation in his chest. Uncommon, and unnatural to his usual self. "S." he said, dragging his fingers down the side of her body. It was weird. Dante didn't know how to put his thoughts or previous actions into words in the moment. He knew it would be perceived as wrong. Knew perhaps he shouldn't have or should have contacted her first but in the time and in the moment all he'd really thought about was them. "I slept with Frankie." he said the words assessing her face. It was harder to say then it felt. He didn't regret it, but he knew how it would look from the outside staring in. Dante's intentions were never to harm his pretty girl, but that's all that anyone would see or could see. It was cheating - he understood it. To him that's not what it was though and she knew him better than anyone else. The nerves didn't let up though. It was a pretty large pill to swallow.
Sawyer: "Oh." Sawyer tilts her head to the side, her eyes resting on the man in front of her as his words seem to die on the tip of his tongue. "It should be fine but I guess it depends on the temperature in the studio." She didn't want him to feel bad about leaving his leftovers at work because it wasn't a big deal. Pawpaw could always have something else to eat tomorrow. Maybe she'll make him a grilled cheese or something. She doesn't say anything when he says her nickname, her eyes focusing on him. She furrows her brows when his confession leaves his lips, the the words sinking in as each second ticks by. All she does is stare at him for a second, the blonde breathes out a short breath as her gaze slowly moves down to the space between them. "Oh," she nods her head as she drops her hand to her side. Her head turns to look over at the sink, her eyes resting on the dish she had been washing when he walked in. "Oh." She repeats as she steps back a little, turning to face the counter as she picks up the dish again. Her other hand moving to the handle to turn the water on again, nodding her head. "Okay." She says softly. She picks up the sponge, washing the dish once again. "You didn't say whether or not you wanted that bath or not."
Dante: Dante was expecting some form of reaction. Anything but whatever the hell was happening before him right now. "Don't minimize what I just said, Sawyer, please." he pleaded with her, doing his best to keep the distance that she seemed to want between them. He expected some form of anger perhaps, as they hadn't spoke about Frankie before, but she knew his feelings towards them unlike anyone else did. Had expected perhaps an acknowledgment of the words he spoke, but she graced over it as if it meant nothing when he knew it wasn't the case. "I think the bath is the least of our worries right now." he replied genuinely, furrowing his brows as he tried to come to terms with whatever it was that was happening between them. Dante wasn't stupid, he knew the information wouldn't perhaps be well received but he didn't expect her to just brush over it as she did. "Talk to me." he said a little more forceful then he should, but he was unsure of himself and her thoughts. "I don't want to keep anything from you, pretty girl. I would never. But I also want to know where your thoughts are. Please, don't diminish them."
Sawyer: Placing the plate carefully into the drying rack, Sawyer reaches for the handle to turn off the water. She reaches for the hand towel once again, holding it in her grasp. If she's being honest, the blonde doesn't know what to say. It's not like she's not aware of Dante is someone who leads with his emotions, someone who tends to be affection when he's expressing them but she also can't deny how distant he's been since Marcy's death, something she's been patient and understanding with, awaiting the day he's ready to fully expose what he's been feeling and it's not like she wasn't aware of how Dante felt about Frankie so… It's something she should have seen coming. It's something she should be understanding with. Her and Apple have been working on her making sure she stands her ground when big situations happen, the way she has been working on making sure she doesn't book it for the door the second something bad happens. "Baths are… relaxing." She says softly as her gaze shifts to the hand towel in her hand. She thinks about Philly for a second, the way they seem to keep their head up whenever Leo sleeps with someone else. "I don't have anything to say." She says quietly. She turns to take a few steps away from him to the other side of the kitchen, reaching for the paper towels to wipe at some of the space of the counter. She pauses her movement when he tells her he doesn't want keep anything from her, her fingers clenching the paper towel as she nods her head. "Thank you for telling me." She closes her eyes as she tilts her head down, her eyebrows furrowing to hold back any sort of emotional reaction. She turns around to face him. "I'm not really sure what you want me to say here, Dante." Her eyes focusing on him. "I am going to finish cleaning the kitchen and you can head up stairs and get into something more comfortable, yeah?"
Dante: He didn't know what to say. What to do, or even what to think in the moment. Dante knew better than to accept it for what it seemed to be. He'd slept with someone else while they were an item. If he were honest with himself, he'd expected her to be pissed off at him. Not something that he wanted, obviously, but anger he could understand. Disbelief he could understand. Shit even acceptance he could understand - honestly would have assumed it's what it was had she not been avoiding his gaze. "You don't have anything to say." he repeated the words she threw his way, turning his eyes to focus on everything she did. The way she so easily glanced over everything unsure of what to reach for that told him more than her words did. "You'd tell me, though? If it bothered you. Right?" Dante knew Sawyer knew him better than anyone else in his entire life. Probably not more than his pawpaw, but that was a given. The old man had raised him as his own - and yet Dante had never been one to hold information for him. Over the years, Sawyer had layered herself into his being so effortlessly that she too became someone he could talk to and spill his worst thoughts and feelings to without the feeling of being judged or faulted. He shouldn't have expected any difference from this revelation. Moving in towards her, Dante hugged her to him. "Thank you." he spoke into her hair, "I got really nervous just now. I would never go out of my way to hurt you, and I didn't want this to feel like it." Frankie was someone that Dante connected with so flawlessly but that didn't mean that he didn't love and respect Sawyer and what she meant to him either. "But then, I guess I should have known that you'd understand. I'm sorry I questioned you, pretty girl."
Sawyer: If Philly could do it… Why couldn't she? Sawyer knows deep down he didn't do it to hurt her. He's always been someone to live in the moment, someone who tends to love with his whole heart. It's not anything he would ever want to crush or make him feel bad about but it makes her feel…. different. Her being here at home waiting for him while he's…. She inhales deeply as she grips the paper towel in her hand as she nods her head, pressing her lips together. She's not sure she would because it feels wrong to be upset with him when she's messed around with someone else's significant other. The idea of that makes her sick to her stomach now that it's something that's going to happen to her. Plus how could she be mad at him? He should be able to talk to her about anything. Everything. She is holding it all in until she can process it rationally, it's the only because it seems unfair to lash out with all the hormones. She parts her lips to say something until his arms wrap around her, her eyes when she says thank you. She nods her head at each word he says, her hand hovering inches from him as the guilt starts to sink in for even being upset in the first place. "Of course," she whispers as she steps back once again as she turns herself around, glancing at the trash can. "I'm going to take this out, okay?" She says. She opens the lid and grabs the bag, pulling out and moving to head out the back door. "I'll meet you up there in a minute," she says before stepping outside and letting out the air she's been holding in. She walks down the path to the trash can before reaching it. She grabs the lid and lifts it up, tossing the bag into the can as she holds the lid, kneeling down by the trash can as she moves her hand over her mouth, the few tears escaping her eyes as she tilts her head down. After a few minutes, the blonde pulls out her phone and sends a couple of text messages. She assumes he went upstairs to get more comfortable. She remains in the bent position, her head turns to look over her head in the direction of the house. She stands up and brushes her hands against her jeans, placing the lid back on the can as she walks over in the direction of the house again. She shuts the back door and locks it, shutting off the lights downstairs before making her way to check on Pawpaw before she ends upstairs. She walks to the bedroom, leaning against the archway as she crosses her arms over her chest, her phone safety tucked away in her back pocket. "I appreciate you coming and talking to me about what happened with Frankie tonight." She lifts her eyes up to him, her eyes taking in him as she raises her hand up to wipe the single tear off her cheek. "And I don't want you to ever feel like you can't talk to me without being judged or… feeling guilty about your choices but…" She drifts her gaze from him to look down at her feet. "I understand feeling connected to people, I do. And I know how you work, how you express your feelings but…" She raise her eyes up to him. "If I slept with Myles… Would you understand?"
Dante: Despite his previous words Dante lingered in their embrace longer than he'd need to. Her words didn't match her behavior, so when Sawyer asked to take the trash out against his better judgement he pulled back and let her go. Staring after her as she exited and made her way towards the trash. He could feel her emotions before he'd seen her sob into her hands and he closed his eyes. Dante couldn't watch her like that - knowing he caused it whether intentional or not. Instead, he turned to give her space and made his way into the shower. It wasn't too long before he'd made his way back into the bedroom, standing near the closet as he pulled a t-shirt over his head when Sawyer returned. He let his eyes wonder over her face as she spoke. It didn't matter how many times he could say that he never meant to harm her, the look he captured from her needed no explaining. He'd still done so. "Yes… I would understand." he replied, against his every though but the words ran true. Dante knew of Sawyer's love for Myles. Had witnessed it up close and personal for years on end. There wasn't an ounce of him that felt threatened by Myles because at the end of the day he understood they both wanted nothing but the best for his pretty girl. That much like himself, he could trust in Myles ability to love and cherish her. "Baby -" Dante pressed his lips while he tried to process the words to say, and coming up more unsure of himself than he'd ever thought possible. "Tell me how you feel." he asked, "Forget about my feelings for a moment, and just tell me how youfeel."
Sawyer: Sawyer tilts her head down to look at the ground, her eyesight to it being cut off by the baby bump. This was the first time she has ever felt like this toward him; an uncertainty, the unstable ground he set her on and it was… a lot. Her first instinct was to put as much distance between them as possible because he was supposed to be the one person who didn't hurt her, the one person she could free fall to and not hit the ground. Her eyebrows pinch together; she wouldn't leave. It was already a decision she made as she walked inside it seemed cruel to pack up her bags and find somewhere else to stay when all the murder was happening out there. He would have understood had it been Myles. What does that mean for his feelings when it came to Frankie? "Given I have enough feelings to fuel three people? It isn't fair to say them." At least that felt like the best excuse to give. She didn't necessarily want him to feel bad because their views on relationships were different, because it was confusing to have one exception yet be upset by another. Her eyes lift up to him, pressing her lips together in hopes the tears didn't come out of her. "Hurt, unstable and unsure. I think I need some space, some time." She admits, her voice soft whether it was to hide emotions or afraid of what the impact would create. "It hurt me." You hurt me. "I just need time to process it." To realize and fully understand his intent wasn't to hurt her but to be closer to someone else. Which might be why if hurts so much, instead of coming home to her he sought comfort in elsewhere.
Dante: Dante breathed out heavily as she spoke and nodded his head in acknowledgement. It obviously wasn't what he hoped to hear, but he had expected it. He felt his insides become hollow - void of everything but the guilt of his actions while still being weirdly unwilling to take back what he'd done. Doing so would be a lie because as bad as his actions had been when it came to Sawyer, they felt right when Francis was concerned. It was an unfair truth, but not one he'd cover up. "Please, don't leave." he begged after a long pause and he swallowed. Dante couldn't take her walking out of the door and potentially out of his life. He'd never survive it. "There's more than enough room in this house. I can go down to the main floor… I could go to a hotel. I know, I have no right to ask anything of you, but… I won't make it with you out- You don't have to stay for me. Just - please. I'll sleep downstairs." You're my everything he wanted to say, but refrained. The words would be of no comfort in the moment, no matter how truthful they were. As hard as his body yearned to wrap around her frame, Dante stood firm - unwilling to invade her space. "Take all the time you need, S. I just - need to the three of you here… safe at home."
Sawyer: As much as she hated to see it; the way she could read him like the back of her hand. His guilt was evident but so was this glint in his eye. Whatever occurred between him and Frankie tonight felt right to him. She couldn't ask him to take it back, she wouldn't. She wouldn't ask for promises or push him into a box to make him into someone he wasn't but she also knew their views on relationships were different. She refrains from touching her stomach, not wanting to bring attention to it despite it feeling like it was the only thing people could see. "I'll stay but I will stay in a different room." She can't be in this room, because it would just make the ache bigger. Because she couldn't promise this was something she could do again. She couldn't promise the trust she once had for him would ever be the same. "I don't plan on leaving the house or making you leave it." She whispers. But she would no longer remain stuck in the house, waiting for him to come home. She knows this is the first time he has ever done anything like this but she can't know it's the last. She glances down at her stomach when he brings up the three of them, pressing her lips together. "Okay." She says as she steps into the room, moving to the closet and grabbing her bag. She places it on the bed and starts moving to the nightstand, opening some of the drawers to start taking out her stuff. She remains quiet as she does it, doing her best to keep distance between them because she already feels the yearning to stay, to close the distance between them but she can't be Philly as much as she would like to be them she just can't.
date: november 25th, 2023 where: sawyer's place summary: after agreeing not to be an official thing... things change after dante comes over to see another man leaving sawyer's place
Sawyer: Reaching out to grab the front door, Sawyer turns to the knob and pulls it open. "I'll…" Before she can say anything else, her gaze falls onto Dante when she notices him standing there. Every ounce of anything leaves her features. A part of her gets hit with a ton of guilt. Isn't this cheating? It isn't because the two of them told each other they weren't going to be official and it turns out a little over a week and half was the longest she could go. "See you later, Onyx." She glances at the other man, giving him a look. She waits for the other to leave before her eyes move to Dante, opening the door a little wider. "Come in," she whispers.
Dante: He hadn't fully reached the door before it opened revealing a staring Sawyer and a guy behind her. He stood there stupefied for a moment, before moving out of the way for the guy to pass by. Dante was doing his best to not think about anything other than his empty stomach and the food he'd brought for them to share. Words were simply not forming as he walked through her home, and straight into the kitchen island to lay out the food. He moved around taking out some plates for them and began to open up the food. "I stopped by that new Caribbean place down at the beach. I hear it's really good." he said through a locked jaw.
Sawyer: Shutting the door softly, the blonde presses her lips together. She's unsure what to say or how to start the conversation. There's a part of her that feels like he just caught her cheating on him and that made her think a lot about what she has to start doing from this point forward. If they make it by… She walks over toward the kitchen, leaning against the other side of it as he starts to take out some plates and open up the food. "I've heard about it. I've been wanting to try it." She says, her eyes remaining on him to see if he'll look at her.
Dante: "Yeah, it's um this dude name Stef owns it." he continued on nodding his head a bit too excessively and continued plating. He hadn't looked at her, wasn't planning on it until he could figure out his expression. Dante knew that it would happened, had practically encouraged the go ahead, but it didn't help him feel less stunted. This wasn't anything that should have phased him; Dante had seen her with others before but his chest was contracting unintelligently. "How was your day?" he asked, sliding her place on over before turning to get them some water. "Do anything -" he blanked, good? exciting? different? All sounding like potential disastrous answers after what he'd stumbled onto just now.
Sawyer: "Yeah, I know Stef." Nodding her head, Sawyer leans down against the surface of of the counter, her eyes focusing on his fingers as he was plating the food. She lifts her eyes up toward him once again, pressing her lips together as she chews on her lower lip. She knows the two of them have to talk about this. They promised. "Dante," she whispers, her eyes focusing on the back of him as he moves to to get them some water. "Can we talk about this?"
Dante: "We will," he said, "talk. about it. I just… need a moment." It shouldn't have been this hard to accept, and he really shouldn't have shown up without reaching out first. In the end he'd put himself in this predicament. Dante bit the inside of his cheek as he turned back around and placed the water before them. "I know we agreed to talk about it, but maybe let's eat first. I don't want to just assume that every guy that walks through your door is here for one reason alone as if you don't have male friends either." he pointed out with a shrug as he tried to lighten the situation some what. The fact that she was trying to address it more than told him that they weren't just 'friends' but he could be delusional for the next nine months if he tried hard enough.
Sawyer: "Okay." Sawyer whispers, picking up her fork as she shifts it across her food, moving the pieces around as she drifts her gaze up every so often to look at the back of his head. She knows she would be in the same spot, unsure how to even explain how she's feeling if she had been the one to come over and someone else was leaving his place. She had told herself that the only person she would bring into her bed for the next nine months was Onyx. He didn't plan on sticking around for longer than six so it would be easy, just a wam bam thank you ma'am sort of arrangement but she didn't expect Dante tonight. Now she's trying to figure out why she didn't. She bites on her lower lip, picking up the plate from the counter. "I do have male friends." She says, hoping it puts him at ease even though the way she's dressed and her hair probably are a dead giveaway that Onyx wasn't here to hang out.
Dante: He didn't respond, merely began stuffing food into his mouth to keep himself occupied. To keep himself busy enough to avoid the talk all together. Dante brought out his phone and began to scroll through it for more distractions. The last couple of weeks he'd been living in such bliss just knowing that she was or would be his that he kept putting off the inebitable. They couldn't be together right now he continued to say to himself as he scrolled but really looked at nothing for longer than a swipe of his finger. Dante hated the feeling of jealousy that coursed through him but just the thought of that guy inside her mere minutes before he arrived set his stomach on fire. His hands were becoming cold with anger so he put down his phone and went back to stuffing his face.
Sawyer: There is a complication to their arrangement and this was it. Both of them want to be around each other too much for the other to squeeze in some time for a hook up with someone else. More moments like this were bound to happen and the idea of her being in his shoes was something gnawing away at her. She wasn't sure if she could even hook up with anyone else again after this because it was so fucking ironic that the one time she absolutely needed it, he shows up before she can get the guy out. She glides her tongue across her lower lip, raising her eyes up to look at him to watch him, to see if she could figure out what was going on in his head. She places her fork down and clears her throat. "I need to take a shower," she suddenly feels disgusting. "Do you… want to stay?" She asks, worried that he'll decide it's not worth it.
Dante: He finally glanced up as she spoke, having had been too lost in his head before. "Do you want me to save your plate?" he asked, reaching for the food that she's left untouched. Dante didn't want her to feel uncomfortable in her own home, but he also didn't know how to converse properly with her at the moment. The question left him a little dazed again as he wondered exactly where they could stay where he wouldn't wonder if she'd just fucked there. Instead of answering the question properly he went with another of his own, "Should I set up out here or…?" he pointed towards the bedroom hoping that gave her enough information to know what he was referring to without having to question where he'd might stumble onto anyone's bodily fluids.
Sawyer: "Sure." Sawyer nods her head as she moves away from the counter. She knew he was going to need some time to wrap his head around the whole thing and that was more than fair. She wasn't going to push him to talk about it, just like she had to give him time after he found out everything else. She pauses in her moment, turning her head to look over at him as he begins to ask his question. Her head tilting to the side as he gestures to the bedroom, her eyes glancing over in that direction. It dawns on her what he's asking, her lips press together. "Uh." She clears her throat, gliding her tongue across her lower lip. "Either location is fine." She spins around and darts into the bathroom. She undresses and turns on the water. She steps into the shower and under it, breathing out.
Dante: "Right." he mouthed to himself unsure exactly of what that even meant. So he didn't move. Dante stayed in the kitchen, eating his food and wasting time as he didn't truly know where to go based on her answer. Perhaps the Livingroom was his best option as it didn't seem to be… disturbed in any way. He finished his plate, putting hers in the microwave for when she returned, and cleared away the remainder of the food. Making his way around to the couch he sat on one of the arms and flipped through the channels before settling on Criminal Minds. Something simple but immersive that would help deviate his thoughts. He didn't want to stay, but he also didn't want to leave and make her feel like he was running. Dante just had to get over himself.
Sawyer: Sawyer finishes washing herself. She turns off the shower and opens the curtain, glancing over to the door as she furrows her brows as she allows the question to repeat in her head. She dresses with the clothes she had put in her earlier and hangs the towel back up. She walks out and looks over at him as he rests against the arm of the couch. She presses her lips together as she drops her arms, walking over toward him. She plucks the remote from his grasp and tosses it to the cushion of the couch, her hands raising up to rest them on each side of his neck. "Just tell me you don't want anyone else but you in this apartment and I'll do it, D."
Dante: His eyes finally settled on the features of her face and he closed his eyes for a second as she spoke. "I don't think that's really going to change anything." he replied, eyes falling back onto hers. It didn't matter if she was fucking here or at someone else's place; Whether she fucked in someone car or at a motel. None of it mattered when he'd still resented the thought of her in someone else's arms. Kissing someone else's lips. Straddling another man's hips. "We knew this wasn't going to be easy, S. This is just the beginning, ain't it?" His hands ached to reach over and touch her, to caress her cheek and provide her with some comfort, but they lied motionless at his side. She wasn't at fault of anything, though. This is just how things had to be. "We'll be okay."
Sawyer: All she could do was stand there in silence. It wouldn't change anything, both of them had to be single for the sake of her sobriety and her unhealthy habit of using sex as a distraction from anything else crossing her mind. Her thoughts drift to their last conversation when he told her to make sure they never spent the night and he was never to be in the known. It was the plan but how could either of them do it when they just wanted to be together. "Then tell me you want to be the only one who touches me," she lifts her eyes up toward him. "That will be the last time and if I have to wait nine more months, I will." She nods her head. "I'll do anything." She whispers.
Dante: Dante forced himself to move, bringing his hands up to her waist to put more distance between them and ever so gently pushing her away from his frame. He couldn't be selfish. Not when it interfered with her well being. It was the last thing he wanted, but her words made him so weak. "I can't do that, pretty girl. You know, I can't do that." he whispered almost desperate hoping she'd drop it right there. "That isn't fair to you in the slightest, and the alternative is not healthy. I want nothing more than to provide you with all your needs, and I hate having to share you with anyone else, but it's just how it has to be." His words felt like a rehearsal. The same words he's quoted back to back in his thoughts yet went against everything that he wanted.
Sawyer: Her hands drop down to her sides as he gently pushes her away from his frame to create distance between them. Her fingers move to the hem of her shirt, pinching the material between her hands as she turns her head to look away from him. Will they actually make it? She has had time believing it right now since he could barely look at her after knowing what she did. He can't even sit on her fucking couch because he's not sure where she did it. She blinks a few times when she notices her vision start to blur. "You're gonna resent me. We both know it." She whispers. "You can barely look at me now." She points out, chewing on her lower lip as she keeps her eyes looking toward the wall instead of near him.
Dante: His brows met forcefully as he pondered through what she said. There wasn't a bone in his body that could ever, or would ever, resent her. He was more than sure of it, and the fact that she didn't seem to think so despite how openly he's always tried to be with her puzzled him. "You cannot honestly believe that, Sawyer." he spoke after a moment, standing and planting himself before her once more. "Look, I'm sorry. Okay? I should have called or texted you and not just shown up out of the blue." But he craved being near her. Wanted nothing more than to be with her any chance that he got, that he didn't really think about the possibility of running into someone else at her door. "I didn't look at you because I didn't want to make you feel like you had a reason to explain yourself to me. Wasn't sure of my own expression and I didn't want to assume or… I don't know, S. But I can't have you thinking that I would hold any of this against you in any way. That's not at all what's happening."
Sawyer: If there was one thing she didn't expect was feeling this much over what they agreed on. They sat on her couch and discussed the terms and conditions two weeks ago yet throughout the entire thing with Onyx. He didn't leave her mind the whole time and the whole act makes her feel more guilty and dirty than her whole past. She raises her hand up, swiping her index finger under her eye quickly as she crosses her arms over her chest. "You shouldn't apologize for coming over unannounced. In fact, never apologize for that." She would have done the same thing. She probably would have thought the same thing as she turns her head to look over at him. "There has to be another way around this because even if you didn't come here I think I'd still feel the same way I do now." Her eyes settling on him. "Plus the idea of you with anyone else… It's not fair to feel that way either. It's… It's really fucking hard, D."
Dante: Dante didn't know how to comfort her right now without embellishing lies. What could he say? That everything would be fine seemed to be the only thing he was capable of coming up with but he wasn't entirely sure anymore. It was easy to say and believe that they were strong enough to handle the months that lied ahead of them and yet he could barely stomach what he'd almost would have walked into today. He nodded in response, biting his lip when he noticed her wiping at her eyes. Dante groaned in protest, he hated to see her cry, and pulled her into his arms resting his forehead on the top of her head. "I don't know know how to make any of this better the right way." he said, giving into some honesty, "I don't want anyone else touching you, S. I hate it… so much. My plan doesn't seem to be working for either of us either, so. I'm opened to a re-discussion."
Sawyer: His groan in protest pulls a soft laugh from her. She knows he hates when she cries more than anything. Sawyer sniffles as she raises her arms, wrapping them around his waist as she breathes in him. She didn't really allow it all to sink in, the way she needs him, the way being in his bubble brought her this undeniable comfort that seems to soothe everything. One phone call to him and she hung up the phone in a different mood, her summers were the best of her life because he just knew how to make her feel… at peace. She plays with the material of his shirt against his lower back, nodding her head against his chest. "A re-discussion would be good but… I need you to be honest, Dante. You're not being honest and we promised we would be. I can feel when you're holding back and you are."
Dante: Things were so complicated, and they were still so unsure of how to make things work, but he knew she was right. He just didn't know what the truth was anymore. "I'm trying to be - I am - it's just hard when I don't quite know either. It'd be so easy to be selfish and just keep you all to myself, which is all I want, but I don't know how to make it work. Then it brings on a whole new wave of questions as to how can we tell it's not damaging for you? How can I be selfish when it could cost me you?" It was easier talking to her when she was wrapped around him. When it felt like they both needed to be in each other's arms to function properly. "Pretty girl, I want no one else, but you. I want you gasping for me when you need to feel good. I want you at my side - always. I just want you. All of you." But it's not right right this minute. There were already enough emotions passing between them to light up the sky. "We could try it, tentatively. Just you and me. Exclusively nonexclusive but I could shout it to the moon and the stars, my love."
Sawyer: These last few weeks were a roller coaster, one she fought like hell to stay on and the happiest place to be was his arms. It still amazes her how she didn't see this for so long and she knows she's completely ruined for everyone else now. It's impossible to think about a time where she didn't feel this, this whole. It makes her think about Myles for a second, the way she thought she'd would never feel that level of love again. Because loving someone who knows you inside and out is a whole new level of love but when they separated, the settling in life without him and knowing three years later he would get engaged. It just makes her think how fate was trying to show her he may have been the first love but not the great love. She listens quietly to him, knowing the whole situation was complicated. She knows it's going to be difficult these next nine months, the two of them being around each other constantly, the desperate need to be and now it was even worse. She wasn't sure she could go a day without seeing him, okay, maybe just talking to him because it almost makes her seem obsessed. Her fingers curl in the material of his shirt, nodding his head at his words. "Two times a month." She raises her head up to look at him. "We have one day two times a month where we spend the whole day in bed and then the rest of those twenty-eight or more we don't touch each other like that but we still do… our thing. You think that would be easier?" Her eyes focusing on him. "Could even purchase something and talk dirty on the phone some other days…" She presses her lips together to hide her smirk. "I just… want you too."
Dante: Dante brought his hands up her back and dug his fingers into her hair massaging at her scalp gently so he had something to focus on other than his beating heart. They would have each other and no one else, and that knowledge alone sent a wave of excitement and contentment through his body. He'd keep a close watch on her obviously, do some more research and potentially find someone else to ask questions to on his own time. Dante had spent a lot of time researching online, but the details varied depending on the sites so he figured he'd just go look for another human to question. "Two times a month." he said with a chuckle, "Like those security checks. The first and the fifteenth." he continued to mumble random things that came to mind because he was truly just too happy. Dante pulled them over to the couch, despite his still lingering reservations about it, and took a seat dragging her down with him. "Talk to me a little more about these things you plan on buying. Now what exactly what it entail?" he asked, raising a brow and giving her a all too knowing look. A side eye if you will, but his face betrayed his amusement.
Sawyer: She hums at his fingers massaging at her scalp, a wave of contentment rolling through her. All the emotions from earlier fading away in seconds. His touch always seems to calm her and that alone should have been something that scared her like it would have with anyone else but with him it just makes her happy. She chuckles at his words, lifting her eyes up toward him. "Exactly, the first and the fifteenth much like a security check." She shifts to straddle him as he drags her down to join him on the couch. "Hmm." She drops her gaze down to him as she moves her own fingers to his hair, dragging her fingers through the strands of it. "I read about this wand thing, this girl wrote a raving review on it and I've been thinking about investing in it. There's also this one that you insert that stimulates both sensitive spots." She smirks, looking down at him. "I think I could at least give them a try."
Dante: He let his hands rest behind her back, fingers interlocking when she took position above him. His smile on full display as she spoke about the wand and what she seemed to have researched on it. Dante was no stranger to sex toys, had bought and gifted a good amount of them throughout the years, as well as maintain somewhat of a small collection of his own. "Maybe Santa will arrive early this Christmas." he winked, "Anything else you've been keeping your eye on? I hear there's this waterproof rose you could take into the bath with you. Make a little home video for the memories, you know." Dante was liking the endless possibilities at their disposal now. Going from constantly having to force himself not to touch her to this new arrangement felt good. Still tentatively, and he'd make sure of it, but he couldn't deny the peace it brought to him. "Gimme a preview. What should I expect from these calls you mentioned?"
Sawyer: Scrunching up her nose playfully when he talks about Santa. "Is that a fact? They are expensive. How many do you have? You never went into detail about what you have." Sawyer murmurs, her fingers moving from his hair to the collar of his shirt, playing with it. "A waterproof rose?" She lifts her eyes up toward him, arching a brow. "Oh? Would you like more of those home videos, Mr. Kidd?" She teases as she chews on her lower lip. Maybe this will be a good arrangement, the idea of just having him to herself and being his was enough for her. She was willing to try anything… Tonight was just a moment of weakness and a desperate need to scratch an inch but it was still odd to realize it wasn't going to be as easy as the two of them thought. She breathes out when he asks for a preview. She leans in slowly, moving her lips to the shell of his ear, brushing them lightly against his skin. She moans quietly, allowing her breath to hitch shortly after as she adjust herself on his lap. "Do you want to hear it or do you want to see it?"
Dante: "Indeed. You were such a good girl that he just had to come extra early, or so I hear." he said pressing his lips together to keep from chuckling. Now that he knew she liked being called that, he couldn't help but find places in his speech to make it fit. "I mean it depends." he started, biting a smirk, "I have a wide arrange of anal toys. All types, all sizes. I got more playful toys for stimulation and a couple dildos I'd say. Although most haven't seen the light of day in a while. Not since the move I don't think." Dante didn't really know how he ended up with so many. At first it was nothing but a joke, and then he started getting more and more. "I'd love nothing more. Maybe we could make some together." he offered quietly because it was such a intimate thing to suggest, but the thought of it excited him too much to keep to himself. His breathing turned heavy when she moaned in his ear and his eyes fought the urge to roll back into his head. He craved her too bad, but she had just fucked someone so he tried to focus on their conversation more. "I mean if it's on the phone I can't really see it. How good are you at descriptions?"
Sawyer: Groaning under her breath, Sawyer drops her head to his shoulder. "That's so mean," she murmurs, knowing he's fully aware of what that does to her. She doesn't know how he is able to flip her back on like a light switch no matter what he does. Sometimes all he has to do is give her that look and she wants to jump him like nothing else will ever be enough. She lifts her head up after a second, breathing in as she drops her gaze to look at him as he starts to talk about the kind of toys he has. "Does that mean you'd want me to…" She presses her lips together. "I could use those on you." She drifts her index finger across the skin above his collar bone. "I think making some together would be fun." She whispers. As his breathing turns heavy, her body starts to tingle. Her thighs clench against him as she bites on her lower lip. "Pretty good," she murmurs. "Do you want me to tell you what I'd do to you or what I'm doing to myself?" She catches his earlobe between her teeth, gliding the tip of her tongue along it slowly.
Dante: Dante moved his hand to caress her back as he chuckled. “Sorry.” he apologized without a hint of truth behind it. He liked the way she reacted, and the whiny little voice that she used that only sensed to spark him. At her next words though he paused utterly confused for a comment before he realized what she meant and could feel his face heat up. It wasn’t a normal thing to occur, Dante wasn’t shy about anything in his life specially not with Sawyer, but the shock was unexpected. His thoughts quickly ran back to the moment at his home, and how comfortably they both had acted as if it was just another day. “I - um- I meant,” he cleared his throat a little, “for you. In case you were ever… interested.” The ease with which she spoken the words still had him a-flamed though. Excited as he visualized only to deepen the color on his face. Emotions fluctuated so drastically between them at times that he could barely keep up. It’s always been so. They were angry one moment and loving the next. Disagreeing in one breath and telling eachother how much they loved one another soon after. It was no wonder that even as adults they still did the same. “You can surprise me.” He breathed out in a moan as he became jelly at her hand.
Sawyer: Sawyer shakes her head. "You are so not sorry." She murmurs. Of course, only he would be able to turn her back on with a few simple words. She notices his cheeks heat up at her suggestion. She knew she would practically do anything for him even if it mean exploring in the bed… Actually, especially if it was in the bed. There was nothing sexier than making him weak in the knees for her, she loved it. She thrived off of it because for so long she was curious, desperate to know if it would be easy to turn him on like he did with her. Their session in his studio lives in the back of her head. How the hell they hadn't been doing it longer? Sometimes she wonders how different it would be it she had left Chicago and went on tour with him. "Oh?" She hums. "Did you want to… I've never done that." She presses her lips together. "But I'd let you do it." She'd let him do anything. His breathy moan has her shivering against him, the sound igniting a park inside of her. She rolls her hips slowly against him as she lets go of his ear. "If you were on my couch with me… I'd roll my hips against yours, make you hard for me and then…" She kisses down his jawline, down his neck as she slips off the couch, her hands moving to the button of his jeans. "I'd slide off the couch onto my knees in front of you, unbutton your pants and…" She leans down, catching his zipper between her teeth and pulling it down. "Pull down your zipper with my teeth… want to guess what I'd do next, D?" Her eyes innocently flicker up to him, a devilish smirk curving her features.
Dante: It wasn’t fair. How easily she could make him forget about anything and everything how quickly she could turn him on and make him beg for her to go on. How crazy the thought of it all was. Dante was still surprised at the way they’ve been behaving with one another. The sudden change from best friends to lovers, which he had never previously thought possible, but now was as real and as everlasting in his mind and soul as the lingering effect of her lips upon his skin. “Fuck, I love you.” He whispered, taking her face in his hands as he watched her. “I want to experience everything with you. Love every single inch of you, S.” No one has ever made him feel the way she did. To love so desperately that he couldn’t hold himself from airing it all out. Dante sucked in a sharp breath as she moved along him, eyes glued to her every move as if he were sizing a huntress. Assessing her every move to figure out what she’d do next makes him throb. “Fuck,” he whispered once more, gasping despite her not having done much, “What’s next?” He was so hard against his pants that he could cum with a simple brush of her lips. Slightly embarrassing, but it’s the way she made him feel.
Sawyer: It's as if the two of them have been making up for lost time, the desperate need to have him whenever he was in her space, those little touches igniting so much more within her. It's as if she has something to prove, to show him that she can ruin him for anyone else. She wants to show him that choosing her, she will give him everything even with the complications that come. Her underlying crush she always had for him and the way she slowly fell in love, the way she hadn't let that guard down because losing him would have been ten times more damaging. She had so many years to pretend her crush didn't exist she convinced herself it didn't. At least until that night, the way he groaned, whimpered, whine underneath her. His lips traveling over every inch of her body, playing out fantasies she had had before. Her darken gaze finds his as his hands cup her face. "I love you too." Wholeheartedly. Something she definitely shouldn't be doing. But after having him, she needed him like air. It was intoxicating. As her lips travel down, as each word makes him pant and harden, the more powerful she feels. She doesn't want him to need anyone but her. She tugs his jeans down, brushing the tip of her tongue along her lower lip. "My mouth is watering, it's desperate…" She murmurs. Her hands pull out his cock through the slit of his briefs. "I'd grab your length and I'd lean down." She kisses the head of him, finding different spots to kiss along his shift. "You know I read once you can make a man orgasm without the cum?" She murmurs as she wraps her hand around his shaft, moving it up and gently squeezing the head to pinch off his urge to ejeculate. "Apparently if you squeeze like this when he has the urge to ejaculate, the orgasm still happens but the ejaculating doesn't."
Dante: It wasn't difficult to understand how quick he'd fallen for her. From the very first meet - she had him under a spell. Not a word could be breathed about her without him finding the culprit and setting them straight. His pretty girl til the very end. Dante had always believed in destiny. Believed in love unlike no other as well, which is how he didn't dare to questions his feeling for her. Maybe misplaced them somewhere along the way, but he would have done anything and everything to just be present in her life. Whether she only needed a friend, and now when she needed a lover, and later on in their destinies he could see himself marrying his girl. Having a family with her. Growing old with her. Dante was mentality incapable of anything as he watched her move. Stupefied once more, but unlike earlier, this time for a good reason. The parting of her lips becoming so hypnotizing that unbeknown to him he mimicked her. His eyes darkened when she pulled him free of his briefs and he tipped his head back against the couch unable to really focus on anything she said. His body missed her so bad and yet it had only been a little over a week. Just as he predicted though his body gave away at the feel of her hands around him. "Shit!" Dante hissed as his orgasm took hold of him, and his hands squeezed either side of the couch leaving him shaking in her hand. He'd be lying if he wasn't a little embarrassed seconds after.
Sawyer: There's a smirk that curves her features as she keeps her grip on the head of his cock, preventing him from ejaculating as he shakes in her hand. How was it he gave himself completely to her with no hesitation? Knowing every ugly and dark thing there was to know about her yet he declared him to be all hers. To have someone unconditionally, to have someone love her without an ounce of doubt. It was enough to make her emotional, her heart both clenching and fluttering in the matter of seconds. It's why she didn't want to fuck this up, it's why she'd make this whole night about him and not even allow herself to be touched. She craved him. It was hard to explain it to anyone, to talk to someone and explain how she could to from thinking Myles was the greatest love to knowing he was the first, the first before finding out Dante was the greatest. "Think I can have another one, baby?" She whispers as she parts her lips and pushes him into her mouth, swirling her tongue around every inch of him.
Dante: Dante didn't get much of a chance to apologize for cummings so quick before his cock was in her mouth and his body half jolted from the unexpected surprise. "You're going to be the death of me." he breathed out, partially gasping for air at the feel of her tongue working him over. She was going to turn him into a little bitch and he was not disapproving at all. Dante reached forward, brushing the hair off her face and holding it back onto her loosened ponytail. It took everything in him not to fuck her mouth on his own, and run his hips up forcing him deeper into her mouth, but he wanted to give her all control. To be totally and completely hers in every possible way. He could lose consciousness with the amount of pleasure curving through his body. Dante was doing anything he could to delay another orgasm but just like before she took him over. "Fuck!" half moaned, half yelled out as he unloaded.
Sawyer: His body jolting in surprise when her lips wrap around him has her humming in response. This is the second time he's muttered the words about her being the death of him but only if he know how fucking alive he made her feel. She bobs her head, up and down, her tongue exploring every single inch of him, wanting to find those spots that make him shiver, the spots that make his fingers clench in the strands of her hair harder. In fact, she's waiting for him to start fucking her face but instead he gives her to the control until he's cumming into her mouth. She swallows then proceeds to lick him clean. She pulls him slowly out of her mouth as she tilts her head up toward him. "You know I'd be okay if you fucked my mouth," she whispers. Her little theory from earlier is one she wants to explore with him sometime, see how many orgasms she can pull out of him in one setting without making a single drop of cum leave him. "Was dinner good? I think I might go heat mine up." She smirks playfully.
Dante: "I know," he said flashing her a grin, before sulking deeper into the couch. He was breathless, utterly and completely motionless where all he could do to respond was nod his head. He closed his eyes for a second, before pushing up off the cough and moving them towards the kitchen. Dante wasn't normally insecure, but with Sawyer he kept finding new things about himself that he never previously questioned. It forced a lock on his thoughts making it a bit hard to really say much else. Something was bothering him, but he couldn't quite comprehend what, but he also didn't want to give her a reason to show concern. He added the time to the plate, and reached for a bottle of water to clear his larynx. "How do you think work is going?" he asked her to get them onto some other topic that could clear his head space. Dante handed over the bottle of water to her to wash away the taste.
Sawyer: Sawyer steps back to give him space to get off the couch. She turns to follow him toward the kitchen. She leans down against the counter, her eyes taking in his every move. Sometimes she wonders if she's so in sync with him she can feel what he feels. She furrows her brows, trying to figure out if he is overly quiet because of what had happened or if there was something else on his mind. She takes the water from him and raises it up to her lips to take a long sip of it. She places it back down, nodding her head. "I like it. You have some good people that work for you."
Dante: "And now my favorite one too." he said, offering her a gentle smile. Despite his hazy thoughts his love and devotion to her was ever present. Would always shine through whatever ill will comes his way. It was the strongest feeling that he's ever felt. Pure love. No expectations, no resolutions, just a pure sense of peace. Dante moved closer to her, placing a hand on her hip as he leaned down to kiss her lips. "You make every single day better. I hope I can make you as happy as you make me, because the things I feel for you - are truly magnificent." Being with her was still pretty scary to him though. One simple wrong move unbeknown to them and everything could crash. All her hard work and dedication just plummeting to the ground at their feet. That's what scared him most. Failing her in any way.
Sawyer: Scrunching up her nose, her cheeks flush with a shade of pink. "So far no one seems upset about that." She teases, glad there wasn't any of that office drama she always heard about. Pink Paradise wasn't too bad but there were some girls who got petty sometimes if a guy wanted someone other than them. She watches him move closer, turning so it's easier for him to close the distance between them. She leans up and kisses him back, a smile curving her features. "You don't have to worry about making me happy because you do, D. You always have." She murmurs as she raises her hand up to the side of his neck, brushing her thumb against the side of his neck. "Happier than you'll ever know."
Dante: Her words eased him as per usual, but Dante didn't want to take them too lightly and miss anything either. He so easily would believe her every word. "Worrying about you in rooted in me, pretty girl." he said, pressing a kiss to her forehead, and then her nose. It was all he's ever done. Ensuring that he was always on alert for her, now more than ever. "So there's nothing else I can do to make you even happier?" he asked just as the microwave went off and he smiled, "Other than feed you some amazing Caribbean food? It was rather tasty by the way. Phenomenal. My second favorite meal after you." He wondered if he should mention Dylan coming to the studio the following day, but he really wanted to see her expression as he entered the building.
Sawyer: "Don't worry about me too much." She teases playfully but she knows he will. At least until she hits a year and is on more solid ground than she is now. She's a little more than three months in, a part of her knows this is the worst part for addicts. She'd never tell him but sometimes she still wakes up in a cold sweat, the reminder that it's still crawling underneath the surface. She smiles when he kisses her on the forehead and then the nose. "Hmm," she hums as she rests her elbows down on the surface of the counter, lifting her eyes up playfully toward him. "I think feeding me is the best way to make me even happier right now." She bites on her lower lip. "And maybe letting me test that theory a little more," her smile quickly turning into a smirk. "Damn, it must be pretty good to come second hand to me." She jokes.
Dante: Dante shook his head at her easy dismissal but figured it'd be best go along with it. Turning back towards the microwave he pulled her place out and set it in front of her. "I'm going to grab some blankets." he said, figuring that perhaps the couch was still the safest option for them for the night. He was still somewhat disgruntled with the other man's presence despite how chill he tried to play it out. Dante moved quickly through the room refusing to look in the direction of her bed and taking out some pillows and blankets. "You never did tell me how your day went." he reminded her, before stealing a piece of meat from her plate. "The old man had me mowing as he promised. Which makes no sense to me still, but he's relentless." (edited)
Sawyer: "Okay." Sawyer nods as she picks up the plate. She starts taking bites, humming at how good it tasted. She turns her head to follow him toward the bedroom, her body slightly leaning back to watch him. She could tell something was bothering him and the guilt of having slept with someone else was gnawing away on her insides… even if they had promised not to be official. She turns to look away as he comes back out. "I actually had the day off from both jobs which is weird because usually I have a shift on Sunday. My last shift is next Saturday.. He asked me to extend a week and I could use the money so." She chuckles as he steals food off her plate. "Hey, that's my job." She teases. "And you didn't call me to see you do it with no shirt on? I can't believe you let me miss that."
Dante: Dante nodded as she spoke, not entirely liking that she'd be there an extra week but he also didn't want to be so present and enforcing in her decision making. "That's nice. Specially with the holidays right around the corner. It'll be good to have the extra money." it was nothing more than nice chat. Something he would have said to anyone else, but he really just wanted to tell her that she never would have had to worry about money. He had more than enough, but he knew she was too independent to accept his words. She would never had to work a day in her life while at his side, unless it was to pursue her dreams in any way. Dante raised a brow at her words, and smirked but took another piece to prove a point. "It's cold outside now, S. No worries I'm sure he'll keep it going come next spring too."
Sawyer: Her eyes focus on him, a part her glad he didn't fight the whole her staying there for another week. She didn't want him to know how bad it was in Chicago… every dime going toward baggies. It's the first time she's had a savings since she became an adult and it feels so good to be this independent even though she knows he would take care of her if she asks. She smirks as she scrunches up her nose, lifting her eyes to give him a look as he steals another peace. "I don't blame you, it's really good. You weren't kidding." She chuckles. "Guess I have to keep you nice and warm after you mow the lawn."
