Shall we do a review of Thyme’s fashion for the episode? Might need to be a weekly thing.

Outfit 1. The I Have A Girlfriend Proud Puppy 

This fashion choice focuses on the simplicity of pink stripes to demonstrate victory using flames, bit like Phoenix rising from the Ashes. My boi wore this ludicrous outfit the night after he reconciled with Gorya. I like it because it’s blank and pink, and I love those colours. Just not together.

 It’s STILL VERY tame in comparison with what P’Thyme has worn previously, so overall 6/10 considering that we even got a new chain that is not mafia sized. Look at him beaming with his GirLFriEnD. LMAO. This outfit screams twin flames. 

Outfit 2. The I Demand Your Attention Now Gurl

Wow. I mean, a LV coat is chic and all. So that's neat. 

And then we have unicorn dye shirt. 

I loooooove this little number. 

What would you wear after calling your gf 83 times and interrupting her lecture to confirm your relationship status and invite her on a date? Yeah. Exactly. You gotta be visible. Don’t hate the player, hate the game. 8/10 because Thyme is wearing a CHOKER. akjshaskjhd. SWAG. 

Outfit 3. THE BABY IN RED

Please this was the CUTEST scene. 

Not only is he excited at 3.30 am picking his outfit, but he’s wearing the least offensive dressing gown. 

It suits him so much and he looks like a giant red bear who just needs lots and lots of cuddles.  Poor Ren dealing with the fashion fiascos on that hanger. 

PLS. We all died when he was gunna wear that safari get up with binoculars, right? Oi ve. Cutie. 10/10

Outfit 4. THE DATE I DIDN’T PLAN BUT MY GF DID AND NOW I AM TRAPPED DOING THINGS I DON’T LIKE BUT GOTTA BEHAVE COS I LUV HER

I am sensing ren-venge starting early. LMAO. I call this fashion choice the clash. We have Gorya wearing early 2005 Oliver Twist with a hint of Spice Girls and Madonna as @crazybooksandplantslady coined the term and Thyme is dressed as...Thyme and styled by Ren.  

Absolute Fail but Thyme is so flipping sweet during the date, even though shit backfires FASTER than you can say ‘go back to France Ren’. So. Decisions. 4/ 10. Sorry.

Outfit 5. THE MAD AT MY GF 

This was the dreamiest softest Thyme. I WANT HIM TO HAVE CUDDLES W GORYA NOW IN THAT DUMB HOODIE OK??? I WANT HER TO PUT THE HOOD UP AND HIM TO DO PUPPY EYES AND THEN SHE’LL TIGHTEN THE STRINGS ON HIS HOOD AS HE LEANS IN TO KISS HER LOL. GMMTV DO NOT DISAPPOINT ME DUDE. 

I love it, because the defences are down and we don’t have animal print. I have a theory that Thyme gears up into stripes to feel invincible. For battle. IDK where he got this from. But if it was from his wardrobe I need to see this on him few more times for science.

And last but not least the tiger is back. This is is decent. Although the mafia chain is back and I did not miss it.

7/10. I don’t like the poop jumper, but the fit was nice and he can wear literal garbage and look million bucks. Alright for some huh?

Please make a post for Thyme clothes for EP8. Was he going to wear those yellow long shorts and boots (?) to school?

He looked so endearing this week...so different in body language from EP1 Thyme. In EP1 is was so wound up and ready to pounce.

your wish is my command anon. 

as we have established before, the tiger print is a metaphor for the ‘old thyme’ the one who hoards power and prestige. when thyme is going through a transition phase, you see him quite literally wear the tiger shirt with donuts, or tiger shirt with bananas. 

none of this is done by a mistake, but is a direct reference to his emotional state. you can tell how thyme is feeling by the way he dresses. soft pink / colourful thyme is happy thyme. 

during the bus scene, when he wore the yellow banana tiger shirt, yellow being symbol of jealousy and bananas are literally a way to describe a mad person in some countries, perfectly summaries him emotional state. 

I have seen other’s discus this theory and I have made this connection very early on, so I am glad others are finally appreciating the metaphors and symbolism this show is making. I discussed it here briefly x  

ok now that we got THAT out of the way. let’s get it. in no particular order:

1. Delulu Thyme™️ I’m On A Boat Outfit 

I love this on hiiiiiimmm! he looks happy and carefree, the blue collar and hem accentuate the nautical theme. I am not convinced about the shorts, only because we got insufficient leg content this episode. I need more LEGS. MORE is MORE. gimme. 8/10 because it looks psychedelic and has anchors. I dig it. I love how pious he is with the buttoned up collar. does it not open? no? are you suuuureeee?

2. Lost Lil’ Tiger Looking For Owner Outfits

LOOK AT THAT FLUFF, it’s also purple and would snuggle. 10/10. 

meow? lemme in? what is this print? I don't mind it. has a 70s disco retro vibe, like when you fall out of the club onto the pavement and chunder all the way home unable to get an uber, the only difference being that this lost kitty has found his way home, but owner not replying. 7/10 because I will cry?

I can’t believe this is what my parents had to do before mobile phones. they had to GO places and ASK people questions. abhorrent. kudos to kitty tiger for trying so hard. naw. what is he wearing tho? OH IT’S ONLY PURPLE METALLICA CREW NECK. THIS IS FINE. I WILL NOT HAVE A MENTAL BREAKDOWN. SAID NO ONE EVER. I AM FULLY UNHINGED. I WANT THIS SO BAD. 15/10. 

3. WAR PATH THYME UNLOCKED VER 1.0

IT’S THE SWAG FOR ME. IT’S BLACK AND HAS STUFF ON IT. I DON’T CARE. IT’S PERFECT WAR SHIRT. ALEXA PLAY war on drugs I don't live here anymore. argh. I am screaming because this is the first time he stands up to her BIG TIME. this is the correct fashun to wear when unlocking a new war path. we approve. do I need to rate it? its priceless. 

4. THE ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE NEIGHBOUR OUTFIT FT GETTING BEATEN BY MY GIRLFRIEND (AGAIN)

listen, there are few things I will never understand. and one of them would be white socks in black shoes. they stain and stop being white. just why? I know rich people can afford to throw socks away after one use, but what is this? it looks like Versace outfit and I absolutely cannot stand Gucci, Versace or Prada. it’s epitome of ugly fashion made for people who like to flash it. I’m more of a Dior / Chanel girl. I like elegance and style, something demure and long lasting. stylish. that you can fawn over quietly(ISH) but hey. back to thyme. this whole scene took me out. he learnt her moves, but he wasn't expecting to get punched. this outfit  is a no from me? in terms of where it stands on the tiger vs happy thyme scale? I would say he is changing, so this is the in-between outfit. like when you walk in the new neighbourhood wearing designer gear, unaware of the fact you will be an eye sore. -5/ 10

5. TAMING THYME AKA DOMESTIC LIL TIGER 🐯

IT TAKES A WHOLE VILLAGE GORYA TO RAISE A THYME. I CANNOT RATE THIS. THIS OUTFIT OWNS MY HEART AND I WILL NOT TAKE ANY CRITICISM. 

6. RAMEN THYME I REPEAT RAMEN THYME THIS IS NOT A DRILL

look even he has hard time believing that his sister just praised him for moving in next door. this outfit is S O F T boyfie vibe, ideal for inviting your friends over and making some. ramen no innuendoes thank you. I love the whole vibe, the nirvana like smiley and pink detail. again we get pink and yellow just saying. minus the trousers. and the Versace sliders. 7.5/10 

ok I take that back. I have just seen with my own eyes the whole top and thyme? baby? is that a girl spinning the sun / smiley face / her mood with her legs while laying down on the back? who designed this, I need a word. 

7. BOYFRIEND THYME IN THE HAUUUUSSSS OUTFIT

WHERE THE HELL IS REN’S HANKIE I NEED THAT RAG TO WIPE MY MASCARA. I DON’T KNOW WHAT THAT IS. IT’S BRIGHT YELLOW AND I CAN SEE HIS LEGS. I AM HAPPY. LEAVE ME ALONE. HIS FACE??? GOODBYE. 1. Tiger Unchained

drenched Thyme walks into Lita's life wearing t-shirt with a chain. while his actual chain has been left behind, since this decision doesn't stem from persuasion via Cruella De Mommy, this suicide mission is on behalf of Gorya. what a way to make an entrance. 10/10 because this is peak devastation and I am a deviant.

2. All Day Blues

utterly depressed Thyme lounges in his room, reeling from the avalanche and miserably glares at Gorya's cookies wishing he could go back. coupled with the locked door, his Midnight Blue Kenzo shirt, I am mildly in love with his depression. jeans? yes. outfit? yes. vibes? gimme. 9/10.

3. Back in Black

most people wear black to blend in, to guard their energy. thyme has been doing that the whole time since the break up. they sort of look like an indie rock band off to rehearsal. the chain is back. I like the fit, it's dark and demure, like he doesn't want to be seen, his identity in shambles. tiger undercover. tiger sad era. 8/10. trousers annoy me. not tight enough.

4. Not All That Glistens Is Gold

listen. this over sized hoodie from H&M is the thing of my dreams. it reminds of the saying not all that glitters is gold. true dat. so while Thyme is fighting the usurper of Gorya, he looks very soft in his boyfie sweater paws. not to glorify sadness but god I just rejoice in the emotional blank space between them? the hoodie represents how I feel most of the time and in addition to that Bright is wearing it. so. yeah 11/10.

5. Super Tiger Is Back ft Break Up With Your GF I am Bored

it's in the flick of the jacket. I am not against this fit. I mean I see it's appeal. but everything Thyme has worn with Lita in this episode was so damn tedious like can they break up already I can't even get excited about it. yeah it's nice. but. anygays, 8/10. I can't take any of these seriously without Gorya by his side. the white tux and pink dye shirt are forever in our hearts. rip.

ranking: 7/10 Minessotta shirt and black jeans with tiger coat. I mean. it's not outrageous enough to offend me or inspire me to write an essay. but the visuals of Bright sitting in the sunlight? well. well. help.

4. Bye Baby I Love You Outfit

I mean I don't hate it, but I kind of do? But let's go for symbolism here. the black and white, "the change shirt". Thyme has worn the 'change' shirts twice, the yellow tiger +banana and pink tiger + donut one and they all signified a plot development and his internal state. tension conflict or dilemma. same here. also, he once wore a similar shirt to this just before WhoRen returned. the 'phoenix rises from ashes' shirt pink and black. that one signified a change his and Goya's relationship, while this one I interpret as shirt that signifies his own development and maturing.

ranking: 6/10 I am not into it. y'all. something about blue white and black all together like this clashing is causing me heart palpitations.

5. It's Strictly Business Baby Outfit

One of the worst Thyme fashion is in EP2. That weird shrug/ coat with neon shirt at the start. It is in competition with EP8 tracksuit.

Whereas EP1 leather jacket lost to EP8 white tux. Partly cause of Thyme hairstyle in white tux
