I watched the season 6 finale aka last ever episode of Grimm the other day and it was pretty good, maybe could have been a bit better.

I kinda felt like it didn’t seem like there was enough sense of urgency in the episode, some of it was kinda fast paced when the monster thing was there but the rest of the episode seemed kinda slow paced and for a last ever episode I kinda expected it to be more, fast paced and exciting than it kinda was tbh.

The Zerstorer kept coming and going and ended up killing all of Nick’s friends pretty much, he could’ve killed Nick a ton of times but chose not to because he just wanted to play with him, even though like in anime, he could’ve killed Nick many a time when he went over to his dead compadres and had a long talk with them about trying not to die lol. I was like to my parents “this is like anime logic” LOL! 

Nick finally killed the Zerstorer with his own big stick thing, didn’t think fast enough to revive all his fallen comrades with the stick when the audience was shouting at the TV “use the fucking stick Nick” ... and not that stick lol. The Zerstorer turned to ash much like the vampires in Buffy (since it’s created by some of the same people but imho was never really on the same level as Buffy, the CGI alone instead of make up most of the time made it lesser alone and the plots, but Zerstorer actually was make up for a change instead of some terrible 90′s type CGI overlay on his face, the CGI was usually really bad and one of my main complaints of the show as it made it seem less realistic, I know it isn’t meant to be realistic but it could seem so if it looked better, it pulled you out of it somewhat, made it less believable whereas Buffy and say The Vampire Diaries used make up and I was always so drawn in to the world without thinking “oh terrible CGI again, so fake”) and that somehow opened a portal back to his world. 

Nick got pulled back in the portal and in to his world by the stick and somehow seemingly went back in time to before he went in the portal in the first place, which was quite odd, like since the Zerstorer was killed all of what he had done since coming in to the human world through the portal was just magically undone. Seems like a legit easy unexplainable way to bring back all the characters that had been killed off, although not like there was really any need for it as it was the final episode, they could have been left dead, it didn’t really matter as it would not impact any future stories. I think had they remained dead it would have made more of an impact than just saying they are suddenly alive again, because time was somehow reversed by going back through the portal.

None of them knew they had been killed or anything, they thought Trubal had only just come again, as far as they were aware the Zerstorer had not been allowed or not made it through the portal in the first place, it seemed Nick was happy to keep them in the dark about what had really happened although still seemed so happy and overjoyed to see them all, to their surprise as they had no clue as to the reason why.

Then it suddenly went cut to 20 years in the future, in case ya know they decide to make a spin off, or they just thought it’d be nice to show Nick’s kids grown up and show for a minute that they are going to continue the adventures of the Grimm. 

Adult Kelly was pretty hot, I was like I’d watch that just for him if they continued or made a spin off lol. Nick was pretty much my main reason for watching this show besides the fact my dad liked it, it was entertaining besides the CGI but sometimes maybe kinda corny lol. The ending kinda was, when it could’ve gone out with a bang and left viewers like “OMG! I can’t believe that happened” which they were until everyone was alive again. 

Adult Diana looked like she could’ve been that kid grown up.

Well, it was a fun ride, could’ve done with better CGI or just using make up instead. But besides that ... it was a pretty good 6 year run. I’m kinda glad it’s over though, I’m happy with how it ended.
