Haven’t been this confused by a tea party since the first one. What’re we doing with my babies I don’t trust this

EP 7 spoilers.
Still turning over in my head what lambdas game without love meant. Will correlating heart with motive makes me think that that's it--the setup for the game involved killers who had no real motive. Can we look at the murders as being based on nothing more than moving pieces to make a mystery without any whydunnit?
Either way, I think it's meant to draw attention to the differences between who and how they were killed in episode 1-4. For example the culprit(s) of 1-4 would never kill the cousins on the first twilight. It only happened in ep 5 because there didn't need to be a motive.

confession of the golden witch does feel very off when you recall how bern had to tear clair's guts out to make her reveal a glimpse of her deepest suffering, so yasu talking directly about her suffering without it being literally tortured out of her doesn't feel true to her character at all.

i think it would be very cool if will was short as fuck like lion towers over him and could obliterate him with a single slap on the back of the head

There's actually an interview somewhere where Ryukishi got asked point blank about transgender Yasu and he immediately started smiling and nodding before the translator eventually said that he greatly welcomed that idea but it's open to interpretation. Given that he refused to give any straight answers until fandom media illiteracy got truly insufferable and his usual response to questions about Umineko is "what do YOU think" combined with his general reaction there, I choose to believe that Yasu, world's first assigned female (nonbinary) trans woman, is real true and canon
Oh my god that response is SO on brand with how the entire story goes about presenting information, but honestly it's very refreshing to hear that he considered it/did not outright dismiss it!! And yes let us all celebrate Yasu being the first cis trans person of all time

Going insane thinking about how the part of yasu that was supposed to harbor their cynicism and acceptance of being furniture was so moved by Jessica embracing her double personas that it taught them love.
