Takeaways from the Nico Hischier Spittin Chiclets Interview:

“Not a big country guy” - Nico Hischier (wonder how this squares with Jack being a big country guy)

Nico always looks like he just woke up.

Kinda love that Nico called Luca his “idol” even now when Nico’s the captain of one of the best teams in the NHL. Wholesome.

“You think I’m small” - Nico Hischier (when the podcast men asked what happened to him while talking about how tall Nico’s mother is)

Nico’s a Liverpool fan. Favorite player growing up was Steven Gerrard.

He speaks English, Swiss German, and French (can get by a little with Italian - ordering food and beer etc)

Nico talked to Timo about Halifax before he ended up going there.

“He’s Jack, I like that about him….he’s just Jack. “ - Nico Hischier.

In their rookie year, Nico and Bratter had apartments in the same building.

Nico says “obviously” or “obvious” so many times during this interview.

Nico goes to Zurich in August to skate/train with Siegs

Nico used to ski, now snowboards
