#my state doesn’t have a trigger law but our govenor’s term is over and the republican who’s running is 100% anti choice #he also doesn’t believe in exceptions for rape incest or to save the life of the mother #also the republicans are trying to amend my state’s constitution to ban contraception sooooooo #as someone who suffers from severe endometriosis and pcos and needs bc to treat those conditions #and as someone who would at best have a very difficult pregnancy and at worst just fucking die #I’m absolutely terrified #Pennsylvania sucks help #we’re trying to move to Maryland and if the republican gets elected as governor thats puts a timer on how quickly we need to get out #and even if the democrat wins it still might put a timer on things if they manage to change pa’s constitution #I’m freaking the fuck out #the good news is we have enough for a down payment #my husband is job hunting so like hopefully we’re out of here before the new year #and roe v wade is codeified in Maryland and they just voted to expand abortion access a few weeks ago #I’d literally kill myself if I was forced to be pregnant and give birth #I’m not dying in some gruesome horrible manner #I’d go by a way of my own choosing first #but yeah this is literally going to kill people 🙃
