Dottore x Reader but it’s SteampunkAU.  

The capital city of Fountaine is beautiful. But when you look past the tall buildings stacked onto eachother, you find a hidden society that’s been tortured with poverty and disease for far too long. 

Zandik is an example of the effects society has on it’s people. He lives by the motto; ‘There are no kind people in this world’, and he’s more than happy to participate in this ‘kill or be killed’ ideology that goes around. Zandik, or ‘Dottore’ – the name he’s earned overtime, will quite literally kill for pieces of mechanical scraps he can’t get by. Energy corses, cogwheels, screws, – anything really. He needs it all. With every piece of scrap he’s one step closer to creating his own god. 

And then there’s you. A young bright person who just entered the brighter parts of Fountaine’s society, trying to better the world by joining the control force. You’ve always been good at puzzles, and trying to uncover the person behind the name ‘Dottore’ is just another exciting adventure. And despite your boss putting you on the job to make you feel pressured, you’re damn good at unravelling the dark secrets within Fountaine. 

The first step is finding someone who is good at building machines. You’re not fond of mechanical engineering yourself so you need a partner, – someone who can seek a connection between the stolen goods. 

What is this ‘Dottore’ trying to achieve? Why go through such lengths?

– It’s not long before you find your partner.

Zandik is a mechanical genius who dropped out of one of the most prestigious schools only to end up drowning in debts and poverty when the school kicked him out. 

He might be a bit eccentric but he holds up his reputation of being a ‘mechanical genius’. By his side you’re able to get closer and closer to uncovering the identity of ‘Dottore’. 

Will you uncover the identity behind the most wanted criminal in Fountaine, – or will Dottore successfully create a manmade god to overthrow the entirety of Fountaine, keeping his enemies so close to him that he’ll go under everyone’s radar?
