General Appearance

A tree man for real. Aphelios is a very very tall individual, even taller than Mirage. His presence couldn’t be ignored - he has a very natural appealing aura. Aphelios is a mix of both Mirage and Astra faces, his traits soft and regular with a long nose and long chin. He inherited Astra’s blondness with a wolf cut emphasizing his almond-shaped eyes. However, those eyes are definitely more like Mirage - bright, piercing and with a light color close from blue. 

Aphelios is what people easily qualify as handsome. He’s always clean, always wears classy kind of clothes. He wears cologne, changes his outfits several times a day, and smiles so brightly that everyone believes he could be a real angel. 

Personality

Just like Mirage and Astra, Aphelios is true definition of deceptive. He’s a high manipulator who loves to play games, and he develops a real business intelligence when it comes to the mafia. He’s the son of two extremely brutal leaders, and for that, he will honor their name and forge his own one through blood if need be. 

Aphelios has observed his parents enough to understand how this world can be held in his palm. He tends to be arrogant, highly confident, and deeply driven by an everlasting quest of power. Somehow, he wants to do better than what his parents have ever accomplished. He craves an empire matching the greatness of his name. Ruthless, impetuous, Aphelios doesn’t like to lose. 

Special Talents

He speaks several languages, but his favorite is Italian. 

He’s a very good mechanic. He’s able to fix any sort of old cars and old bikes. 

Just like his parents, he has a certain skill for killing people. 

Who they like better

Both, none, it comes and goes but he tends to be closer from Mirage. Astra is naturally wary, even with his son, and he feels that there’s a possibility that he might one day even attack him. Though, they are still far from being a normal family either. Aphelios betrayed them several times, but through their games, they have a profound bond all together. 

Who they take after more

He has Astra’s paranoia and ruthlessness when it comes to rule. He has Mirage’s intelligence with people when it comes to manipulate. Otherwise, he’s very different and shaped in his own way. 

Personal Headcanon:

Aphelios doesn’t like big dogs, he has been bitten by one when he was a kid. 

Just like Astra, he’s uncomfortable with the vision of blood. 

He had a crush on Seventeen for a long time when he was little, he even asked her to become his wife when he was a teen. 

He likes to hang out with Snow and Kaizen, and that’s how he developed his killing skills.

While Kim Seung-soo and Kim So-eun started dating in 'Three Siblings Bravely', Lim Joo-hwan and Lee Ha-na were on the verge of divorce.

In the KBS 2TV weekend drama 'Three Siblings Bravely' (written by Kim In-young, directed by Park Man-young, produced by G&G Production), which aired on the 21st, Jang Ji-woo (Jung Woo-jin) and Lee Sang-joon (Lim Ju-hwan) requested a retest of their parents.

WILD CARD! I initially thought I’d pick Taejoo for this one, because I hadn’t yet, but other than Taejoo kind of attaching himself like a mentee to a mentor to Saja I didn’t have much to offer? In the sense that, Saja would absolutely revolutionise the way Taejoo thinks and sees everything in the world, enough that it would probably shut him down for a moment before he’d try to somehow grow closer to Reaper, which in his case would mean trying to become useful to him because that’s how Taejoo sees relationships of any kind, that if you aren’t useful to people, they’ll discard you.

BUT THEN- I thought... perhaps, a wild card could be used for another Kim Shin & Wang Yeo headcanon <w< SO HERE IT IS! Historical headcanon time!

In the drama, we don’t see a lot of scenes that are solely between Wang Yeo of the past and Kim Shin, in fact, if I remember correctly, when they are interacting, someone else is there and/or the central focus of their interaction, e.g. Kim Sun. But it’s established, said by Dokkaebi himself, that he was Wang Yeo’s faithful general, that he loved him, implying some sort of relationship between the two that wasn’t solely circumstantial. Basically, what I’m getting at is that Kim Shin liked to serve Wang Yeo, this isn’t a headcanon as much as it is implied canon, that Kim Shin wasn’t a general who happened to serve under Wang Yeo, he served Wang Yeo, he fought for his rule, for the empire as it was under him, he served his king as a loyal general who chooses to be, the same way he then opposed the very same king when his rule no longer was what Kim Shin had wanted to serve.

What I’m saying is that, Kim Shin most likely used to say, way back when, that he served his king with pride, that he served his king with loyalty, and joy. Which leads me to saying that, what if Kim Shin and Wang Yeo actually hung out casually a few times. As casually as they may have been able to, back in the day, but casually. A cup of tea. A walk through some internal gardens. I’m not talking anything groundbreaking but... I would love to think that Kim Shin has this distinct memory of pre-manipulated Wang Yeo where he was simply the good guy Kim Shin knows still lived within him up until his death. This distinct memory of a good-natured, good-hearted monarch. This ALSO makes me want to suggest that if you’d like, we could plot out a scene to have happened like this in the past (across multiple verses, even) that we could reference back to... every now and then...? :3
