Season Five, Episode One: Creatures Of The Night

Here we go, my favourite season! I've seen it like 3 times, so I'm not gunna list the stuff I remember or I'll be here all night.

I will try to keep the Theo heart-eyes to a minimum, but I make no promises.

Ah yes, Eichen House, a great start.

Isn't this the Lydia cold open that isn't explained until like halfway through the second half of the season?

Is it a prerequisite to work at Eichen House that you have to be either an asshole, a fucking creep, or both?

They did solve that whole "Scott's mom has no money" thing between seasons, didn't they. Stiles' dad got let off his Eichen bills, but they never really addressed Melissa's lack of funds outside of that 'We're okay Scott' convo at the end of season 4.

This new library set is one of my favourites in the whole show.

Stiles signs SS instead of MS, which is pretty cute actually.

Presumably the shelves are old even though the library is new. Or it's a different library for seniors? I don't think that's ever addressed, since it's clearly a different set from the last time we saw the library in Season 2.

God I love the Dread Doctors. I've said the villains in this show always have such a cool aesthetic, but these guys are something else.

Belasco was like, half bird or something? Hence the talons, and the actual birds coming out of his chest.

Oh who let Vallack out of his cell? Idiots.

Pretty sure that's all recycled footage from later in the season in the flashforwards, rather than stuff shot specifically for this episode.
