This year's Christmas card! It's a watercolour of Youck :)
Usually (and by usually I mean the last two years) I send some to followers, but I have no energy this year ;-; Sorry to those were looking forward to it..
I got Youck a new gold bow tie (by @britishbrothers on ig) to wear for Christmas! They're actually meant for cats and small dogs but I think he looks dapper and handsome ✨💖✨ It matches his eyes so well aaa
[ID: four pictures of my dog Youck, with a gold / ochre bow tie. He is a relatively large and slim dog, with half long black and white fur, long floppy ears and bright brown eyes. He’s mostly black on top, and white on the bottom, with black spots on his legs and paws.
The pictures are taken in a forest, and it’s super sunny. In the first he sits in between the heather, looking slightly off to the side.
The second he’s sitting on a narrow, slightly sloping dirt path. He has his nose high in the air, trying to catch a smell.
In the third he’s standing on all fours at the same location. He’s wagging his tail and panting a bit, looking off to the side.
The fourth picture shows him from the chest up. He’s panting with his mouth wide open, but his tongue mostly in and he’s squinting a little, so it looks like he’s laughing. /End ID]
Once, as a teenager, bought black and white Christmas tree ornaments as Sinterklaas presents for my dad. Back then we sometimes bought new colours, because we like switching it up every year - we don’t any more: we have too many ^^; That year my dad’s father died very suddenly on Christmas day, so needless to say the black ornaments represented the loss and grief from then on.
Fast forward 14 years: we got a new black and white dog and we’re rather fond of themed trees.. We gave it another shot, and to make it a little easier, I made little Goran and Youck ornaments for my dad for Sinterklaas this year :))
