Honestly it could be that (and this is just speculation on my end) he knew nothing about the whole usmp/qsmp thing, like he didn't read dream's explanation on the whole thing or anything of the sort. Then he met up with q. And q, being a butthurt prick that he is, probably started trashing on dream (most likely after that man came up to tommy and asked him if he was dream). And then tommy didn't want to reach out to dream or hear him out at all.

Again, just me guessing, but the vibes of that meetup were so off and rotten

Omg okay dnf storytime. When I had just started watching the dsmp I was actually super anti-dnf because I didn't like rpf (septiplier trauma, I was like 12/13 when I had to witness that shit lol).
