rosemont university. the pinnacle of prestigious post-secondary education. where generations of the same high-achieving bloodlines meet their destiny. and now, home to a handful of lucky community college students, who probably deserve to be there just as much as their wealthy, privileged counterparts. the university itself seems to be gaining a conspicuous amount of good press for its act of charity, and it wants to keep things that way. but with what’s shaping up to be a gritty turf war between the legacies and scholarship students, rosemont was forced to find a way to present a united front to the local and national papers. it was recently decided that some legacy students would have to spend time getting to know a scholarship kid, and by the end of the semester, rosemont’s esteemed school paper would interview the pairs.

naturally, this created conflict within the two groups. each side despises the other. but it was this or a semester of picking up trash daily after class, so the answer was clear. girl one, one-half of the hottest power couple on campus and rosemont’s most obvious it girl, is disgusted by the situation. she hates the idea of having to be seen with anyone outside of her family’s tax bracket. having to spend quality time with boy one, a carefree guy who definitely does not have his shit together, could quite possibly tank her reputation. she also hates the fact that her gorgeous, charismatic, well-groomed boyfriend boy two has been paired with thalia pham, the know-it-all who can’t help but spit angry insults at girl one underneath her breath. wanna know what’s even more frustrating? girl one and thalia used to date in high school, before either of them knew boy two. obviously, things did not end on a good note. 

girl one is hellbent on keeping her boyfriend from finding out anything about her past entanglement with someone of the lower class. boy one, the best friend of thalia, continues to secretly admire girl one, who, if she ever found out, would probably murder him. boy two and thalia are not hitting it off, but the banter between them exposes their undeniable chemistry, so much so that boy two is questioning his loyalty to his girlfriend. thalia refuses to get her heart broken by another stuck-up rich kid. girl one is starting to warm up to boy one, who seems like he might actually care about her more than her own boyfriend... what kind of shenanigans will ensue by the time the interviews with the rosemont tribune take place? grab a character and find out!!
