Sarantos is an international award winning solo music artist, singer-songwriter, proud nerd, multi-instrumentalist, book author, comic book nut, radio show host and part time spy. 2018 is year #5 as Sarantos keeps working hard to release a new song, music video and book chapter every month making his music come to life! Hannah Carmack is a recent graduate of Northern Illinois University. She enjoys volunteer work and spends most of her time with the organization STEM Read, connecting authors and reluctant readers through hands-on STEM activities. Her debut novel Seven-Sided Spy was released January 2018.

February Panel - Jim Mosquera

Jim Mosquera is a published author of fiction and non-fiction and a business professional.  He wants people to understand the world around them and think for themselves.   Born in Panama City, Panama, he spent his formative years in Panama City and St. Louis, Missouri.  He graduated near the top of his class from the University of Missouri-Columbia with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Industrial Engineering.   After graduation, he studied economics and the markets.  He worked in telecommunications serving in a variety of roles including engineering, sales, sales support, product development, and training.  In 2004, he received a patent for a software application he developed with a colleague.   Currently, he’s a Principal at Sentinel Consulting, a business restructuring and capital acquisition firm.  He also operates the economic and financial website called The Sentinel. He contributes financial and economic articles to various publications.

Brian James grew up just out of bullet range of Detroit. He was raised on the work of Douglas Adams and Snorri Sturluson. Eventually he went on to college where he majored in History. While he never realized his dream to become a heavier version of Indiana Jones, he did wind up writing for a number of magazines, newspapers, websites, and Fortune 500 companies. His new book, Mjolnir, is brings the Norse gods into the modern world and follows their exploits as they speed towards Ragnarok.
