I noticed its been a while since you uodated any of your fics. More than a year. Is everything ok? I only ask cause i know Australia had it rough this year.

It’s not really Australia specific. The entire world is a gigantic clusterfuck of fire, flood, pandemic and civil unrest. It’s a crushing sort of feeling hovering over the day to day, you know?

I still think about writing every single day.

My brain won’t cooperate. This is the worst writers block I’ve ever had.

My mental health has been wavering a bit and I’ve had to consciously Not Consume Media for a while.

My wife is also not having the best time mental health wise. But we are still healthy and working together to get through it all. And next weekend we are going away and completely unplugging everything, hoping for a hard reset.

I’m doing okay. I work from home a bit but there are really strict protocols around going in so I avoid it unless necessary.

Writing has been very hard the past six months. I’m having the worst writers block I’ve ever experienced to be honest. But I’m trying :)

I realised I never answered anyone’s questions that I posted a million years ago so let me do some of them in more of a free write kinda way.

I have two tattoos now - one is a Kurt Vonnegut quote in my dads handwriting, and the other is some leaves curving up one side of my poor attempt at cleavage. I only had it done like a week ago.

I’m married, my shoe size is 12 and my last text message says “we’re out of sweet baby rays if you’re keen on pork xx”. Super thrilling huh.

I have absolutely taken nudes and sent them to my wife, but never ever on an instant messaging/social media app, and they are never saved to cloud :)

I’ve held snakes, I’ve witnessed a crime and I love singing karaoke even though my wife has the literal voice of some kind of famous ass goddess, and my rooftop was literally one of my favourite places to sit as a kid/teen.
