Just wondering, is there a reason RPFs are banned?

The HBC made this decision awhile ago when one of the actors had issues IRL that affected not only our writers, but Tumblr readers in general.

Some of our writers have done RPFs that are separate from the HBC; we encourage you to check out their masterlists!

If we decide to revisit this issue at a later time we will post about it, but for now we ask that you respect this decision

Hello lovely readers and writers of the HBC. As you may have noticed, this blog has been quiet now for quite some time. We want to apologize for the radio silence. We didn't mean for things to slow down here, but life gets busy, and before we knew it, more time had passed than we realized.

The HBC has decided to officially take a bit of a hiatus. Interactions are down, and we've noticed an overall slump in some of our creative muses, as well as within the community itself. It's been a tough few years, we get it!

We wanted to take the time to thank everyone for their participation and support over the years, we have all loved being thirsty hoes together. We don't think this is goodbye, and we're definitely open to starting up again in the future if there is interest in writing for any of our favorite characters again. If anyone has any prompt ideas or suggestions for theme days/events, you're welcome to send them in!

We hope you all take care of yourselves, we'll be seeing you soon, and as always, thank you for playing with us.❤️

It's that time of year again! Or... it's almost that time of year, anyway.

From October 1-31, 2022, we will be doing our annual Kinktober event! This year, we have bingo cards! Each bingo card has 8 prompts and a "free space" for you to choose your own prompt from our full list of prompts!

Starting on October 1st, you'll have a month to complete whatever bingo card you choose. On your own blog, make a post for your bingo card and link your works there. Then you can send us the link to your bingo card post and we'll add it to our masterlist!

You are welcome to complete more than one bingo card, we just ask that you not choose a second/third/etc. until you complete all 9 prompts of your chosen bingo card(s).

(If you can't take on a bingo card, but you still want to create something for one of the Kinktober prompts below, that's ok! Just tag us and we'll add it to the masterlist, too!)

As always, you can write a drabble, create a moodboard, etc.
