6:25 a.m. In a little more than 24 hours, I'll be boarding my flight to live in my swimsuit for the rest of the week with friends. Just have to get through court today and then spending the night at my parents for the free ride to the plane. Let's fucking go.
6:33 a.m. Oh, the Digital Art Deathmatch was fun, too. My eyes are still adjusting from the LEDs.

12:46 p.m. I must have a very trusting face.
This person whom I've only ever dealt with on a professional level (which even then has only been from time to time) just spilled their guts to me about their spouse's infidelity and how they should make it right (i.e. divorce, open relationship, single-use hall pass, etc.). I really feel for this person and people in general, given that I've left the dating pool far behind for many years. This person is so much older than me, too, and had been in a nearly 30-year relationship with kids. It's crushing, that level of disappointment. When you really think you know someone but don't.

3:16 p.m. Presenting a restraining order request before a court is the weirdest thing. The closest thing I can equate it to is, "Hey, come look at my book report on why this absolute piece of shit is a psycho and why they should stay away from me." Compelling, no?
5:28 p.m. YOOOO! WE GOT STAKES NOW! According to the summons, if I can't prove my neighbor is a psycho then I pay $55.00, but if I do, then they have to pay $55.00. I'm so here for this reverse bet thing. I get peace of mind AND the bitch has to pay my filing fee? Fuck yes!!

9:04 a.m. My coworkers seem pleasantly surprised that I can work, joke, and live life as normal in my fraction of the workspace. Y'all, I am the compartmentalization QUEEN. I filed the latest bullshit away weeks ago and will nimbly thumb that bitch out when I need to.
Besides, I'm sitting down with a pro this Saturday to finesse my resume, and presently, I'm daydreaming and doodling at my desk. My Maslow's heirarchy of needs has been met 👏
