it ends right when it's getting good lol

soohyun dies in the last few chapters in the explosion in the court room; she's actually put on trial for homicide and sunah blows up the court room, resulting in her death and other elites

as a result, kang yohan disappears

jung sunah takes over the foundation (named diff than in the show)

and i think it's kinda implied that gaon starts down a path of moral ambiguity, as it's shown him going into the backend of the computer system. it's interrupted when jinjoo comes in and gives him a letter, on that's from yohan. it doesn't say what the letter is about or for, though, and then it ends. so it's like ??

it's very different than tdj itself. some small plot points remain the same but the biggest edition, and one a lot of ppl had hcs about, is kang jisang killed gaon's father. he had evidence, and he hired ppl to basically get rid of him. sunah uses that to turn gaon against yohan, but amid soohyun dying, i think that's forgotten?

kang isaac played a bit of a bigger role, actually leading the foundation before being killed.

there's a lot of open ended components to it. i think it left me with more questions than answers for the plot, which would be great if they'd released a part 2 but highly doubt that's going to happen now that it's been a few years.
