Lmao can I get some ideas to bounce around? Long story short candle magic used to be about 75% of my practice cause at the time I had a butt load of candles. Eventually I ran out and couldn’t get more so I redefined my whole practice to suit my current tools but I always wanted candles cause tbh I like lighting things on fire and I always found candle magic gave consistent results, which I can’t say for everything I’ve since tried.

But recently I finally had the opportunity to get candles again so now I have 50 white tea lights taking up a lot of space in my craft storage and I can’t remember anything I used to do with them! I coincidentally only really started recording my practice really well during the candle drought, so I just don’t have the stuff I used to do 😅

So uh… got any suggestions? Not for anything specific, I’m more looking for spell formatting than actual spells, just to jog my memory for what I even did with these when I used to have them!

Okay first off, I have to say that I LOVE that you reacted to Candle Drought by reworking your craft to what you had on hand. That makes me SO SO HAPPY.

SO YOUR ACTUAL QUESTION! I loooooove tea candles, they're GREAT. 10/10.

Carve into them with a pointy thing and then light it!

Write on it with a sharpie and use it to summon baked goods!

Write something on a paper, fold it up, and put the candle on it

Put some STUFF in the candle. Crystal chips if that's your thing, or sprinkle some herbs on top of it (and obviously practice fire safety, always have a way to extinguish it quickly, keep an eye on it, you get the idea.)

Physically BREAK the candle. Just... smash that shit up while it's not lit. Name it for something you want to get rid of and then just go to town destroying it.

Use the leftover tin as a small dish! Or cut it up (CAREFULLY, that shit is SHARP!) and use the shards in a jar spell to keep bad things away.

Pre-make spell kits with them, for when you don't have energy to do a whole thing. Toss in herbs or crystals or rocks from the garden or write on it or carve into it, WHATEVER... and then store it away (properly labelled) and light it when you need that particular spell.

Use the wax to seal stuff! Seal a container shut. Drip wax over some herbs and keep that as a little charm. Write something on a paper, fold the paper, and then drip wax on it.

Pick up one of those tea light oil warmer things from the dollar store. I have used one with a little water and some herbs in the top. I have also used it with just the dry herbs, which kinda toast and release a scent like loose incense, but idk if that's exactly fire safe so like... don't burn your shit down.

This one is better for like, a votive candle than a tea light, but I'm telling you anyway. Use a little melted wax to stick a candle to the bottom of a fire-safe bowl. Fill the bowl with water to about an inch or so below the candle. Light the candle. It'll go out when it hits the water line. This is excellent for banishing/curse breaking/cleansing. If you've got troubles, name the candle for them, or carve into it, whatever. I've added a few drops of bath water to the bowl and let it burn while I soaked. It's pretty damn customizable, use your imagination!

Imagine you having a quirk, that if you kiss someone on their forehead. You give them a boost in their abilities.

So it’s like this. You kiss Bakugo’s forehead and his explosions are more powerful, or if you kiss Asui’s forehead, her mobile abilities get greatly increased so she can move faster on walls, etc.

So imagine you just casually sitting in the dorms reading your book, or watching TV. Whatever you do in your free time. And Bakugo just stomps over.

“Kiss me, now.” He says aggressively, clearly he’s pissed about something and wants you to strengthen his abilities to kick someone’s ass.

“I don’t know, you’ll probably hurt someone. And I can’t have Aizawa on my case. Since he’ll know that I helped you.”

Bakugo looked relatively pissed. “I-I’m not going to beat someone up! I just…need to open something for since face. My normal explosions aren’t working.”

After a few seconds of debate. You shrug your shoulders and held his face. Planting a small kiss on his forehead. “Alright, go crazy. Just don’t hurt anyone…”

Bakugo shoved his hands in his pockets and rushed around the corner. Leaning on the wall and taking a moment to feel your kiss linger on his forehead.

“I don’t need a damn boost…I just need you.”
