asriel for the character opinion?

i love him. i hate him. his single-minded desire to punch god in the face is entertaining. how he goes about getting to the stage where he can punch god in the face is absolutely terrible. he's very attractive. he's an absolute asshole. i think he's an incredibly well written character. i literally do not know how to further emphasise the bastard square on that bingo card but know that it was the very first square i filled in, and with good reason. there aren't usually bad takes about him but when there are they are so impressively off the mark about him. the fandom loves to bully him but the aforementioned occasional bad take aside, he absolutely deserves it. i am both his fiercest defender and his staunchest critic.

and he's also a source of pain... the flytrap and kingdom missions can't hurt me if i just don't replay them and write AU fics that changes what happens in the latter lmao. he's always been an all-time fave as you well know but honestly the older i've gotten the more i've managed to really appreciate his character design, even more than i already did. i need there to be more mirror's edge catalyst enjoyers in the world so we can all get emotional about the found familyism of noah and the runners <3

I'll be upfront with my opinion, which mirrors my opinion in regards to my field: using AI will only hasten your own obsolescence. The point of fanfiction is not to crank out fics, but rather to enjoy the hobby and communities of writing and fandom.

#if i see someone using ai for fics i block on sight #idc how slow i am to write in comparison. at least every word on my works was written by me #using ai to cheat the creative process is just insulting to everyone and not worth it
