Yakuza 6 had just come out and I saw the pretty box art but knew nothing about it. I googled if I could start the game at 6 without playing the others and the internet was like yea. The internet fucking lied lol. Idk why I thought I could. But some games are like that. I'm playing Persona 5 rn without playing any other Persona games and that's totally fine. So I guess like me, others went into a random game without understanding what kind of series it was.

It's what Brain says at the end of the episode iirc. That he prefers Pinky's unthinking loyalty over intellectual cynicism any day. I guess it's no surprise that he really values Pinky's loyalty, but it is kind of interesting to see just how far he trusts Pinky....which turns out to be infinitely if even his own self from the future can't convince him to doubt Pinky for a minute.

writing is so hard partially because i can only recall in detail several episodes, others have been fucking erased from my mind or something, for example i dont remember the plot of "future brain" at all, i'm looking through my notes on the episode and like can someone explain wtf i meant by that😭😭😭
