“Hm?!” Asger watched this man came up to him and yelled angrily proclaiming respect for the fairy-blessed. “You wily disrespectful brat…” he growls, balling his fist and moving to punch York to send him flying. However before he could George surged forward and with a blazing fist of magic and slammed it into Asger’s lower jaw, sending him reeling back instead.
“The only disrespectful one is you!” George snaps now beside York, still ready to fight Asger with his magically charged fists. Grenadine was rather surprised in both men as they came forward to defend her. “I believe a point has been made, Mr.Vil’Leone. I think it is time you is your goodbyes to your son and return home.” She tells the gruff and angry wolf. Surprisingly though, Asger began to bellow and laugh.
“This! These two will do. Boy!” He barks, Vincent getting up after being helped by Elizabeth to his senses. “You will learn from them and return strong. And if by graduation you are no better than you came…” he stomped on an acorn that had fallen from one of the nearby trees and shattered it, causing Vincent to jump and tremble. “Y-Yes sir.” With that Asger would turn and leave with his mate, leaving Vincent to shake and try to gather himself.
“Are you alright…?” Elizabeth asked the young wolf while touching his shoulder. With a soft gasp she blinked and saw a vision of his future where he was pack alpha and he had a prideful smile on his face. “… you might not be right now…” she begins after taking a breath. “But you will be. I promise.” With that she looks to the two other men and Grenadine and sighs. She had a feeling she was going to be seeing a lot of these three now.
“Bastard...!” York readies his fists knowing that a brawl was surely brewing. George’s sudden intervening was certainly a surprise. He expected someone like him to use some dumb spell but to actually run in fists flying? There’s more to this Danton fellow than meet’s the eye.
When Asger started to laugh, it made the strange young man grit his teeth. Annoying old codgers like him that think they know everything are the worst in his opinion.
“Yeah you better run, you old bag of fleas! You think ya so tough? Anyone can smash an acorn, dumbass!” York declares picking up a bunch and trying to break them...and failing horribly. Annoyed, York just chucks the acorns away.
“Yeah he’s fine...he’s better than that old man, I’ll tell you what.” York reassures picking Vincent up by his scruff, “Come on let’s get out of here.” He turns to Elizabeth with an arched brow, “So how about that tour, Miss Volk?”
Unbeknownst to everyone, a young woman was sitting in a limousine looking through a series of pictures made of the campus. Specifically pictures of Grenadine, her son George, and York.
“So...this boy is the Esper?” The woman asks already knowing the answer. Her tone sounding unimpressed.
“Yes Miss Boromir. His abilities are just as incredible as the scouts say.” Her butler answers simply.
“He’s that strong?” She asks holding her wine glass out
"He’ll certainly be a handful. And it seems he and The Fairy Blessed have a history. Are you sure that you can handle them both?” The butler replies pouring her a glass.
“It doesn’t matter. Handful or not...he’ll see it my way soon enough. No man can match my power.” Boromir declares holding her wine glass up in the air.
"Out of the way! Coming through!" A strange young man flies through the area on some kind of motorcycle. (thermal-impact)
George and Reman both barely have any time to dodge out of the way, George grabbing his twin by the shoulders and dragging him down with him to the side. “Hey! Watch it ya bloody psycho!!” George yells angrily, scared now of having hurt Reman.
Remand course simply waved his brother off with a rough chuckle. “I’m alright, falling down isn’t going to shatter me. I’m not as feeble as you constantly think me to be, George.” He frowned though watching the odd, buff, and eccentric looking man zooming with his motorcycle. “He couldn’t be a student could he? I really can’t believe mother would accept someone so... bombastic as someone like him into any of the areas of study.”
Elizabeth faired better several meters away from them as her clairvoyance alerted her immediately so she could easily sidestep the man. then from her training, using his own speed against him to grab and throw him off his own bike and onto the ground before her.
“And just what do you think you’re doing driving through a crowd like this?! You should be ashamed of yourself for endangering people’s lives like this!” She chastises crossing her arms and looking down at the stranger. “It’s the first day of the school year and you can’t just walk down the path like a normal person?”

“No, my dear young Godfrey, I am speaking of your seeming explosive power. You have control it seems but not honed it. Learn here with us and I am sure you will become greater in more than just physical and mental prowess.” She knew better than to think this young man was dumb. “You don’t need to know me. Just understand I know and have always cared for your family. And have so for a very long time. If you accept, you will be treated with respect so long as you abide by the rules.
George grumbled even as the larger man fixed his glasses with apparently healing spit. “While disgusting… nngh… thank you… while magic users do… I’m not really… good in charms. I specialize in potions and alchemy…” replacing his glasses he looked up to him with a long scowl. “Look, sorry for getting bloody mad at you, but ya nearly ran over my brother back there ‘n all.” He tells him, Reman finally coming from around Grenadine. “George, I told you before it’s alright. But how did you forget Manticores are magic resistant?” George’s lips twist up as he sweats. “In the heat of the moment I always make bad decisions don’t I?”
Elizabeth shook her head. Now that these boys were calming down… they didn’t seem so bad. She began to smile, and the one with glasses was admittedly kinda cute, though, she didn’t need a vision to tell her she wasn’t going to want anything to do with the newcomer. As she stepped away to retrieve her bag that had fallen away from her during the initial dodge much earlier, her future sight alerted her to a new danger. Though not in enough time this time for her to dodge.
A young nimble wolf came darting towards them, yelping as he did and inevitably crashing into Elizabeth and knocking her down with him. In his tumble and fall, he suddenly returns human and an enchanted collar returning his clothes onto his form. This then ending with him face down on the pavement. “M-manticooorrrreee…” he groans in residual fear now. Then a much larger towering man with squarer but similar features approaches them, his fists and beard covered in blood that obviously wasn’t his own. “Get up Vincent. Running away from things larger than you will not make you any better.” The brute of a man growls out moving for the smaller one.
“Asger, leave your son be, you cannot expect him to handle a Manticore.” A much smaller woman says, her soothing touch staying the bigger man’s hand from the youthful wolf. Elizabeth reflexively shielded the dazed wolf from the bigger man after seeing the blood. It would take much to assume he dispatched the manticore with rather ease. “Ah, Mister and Mrs. Vil’Leone, I apologize if you ran into an unexpected guest within the grounds. But I do believe it might’ve been unnecessary to have conflict with it as I had sent it home.” Grenadine tells them, turning half way to acknowledge the couple.
Asger scoffed crossing his arms. “It would’ve been a good test of strength for my boy… it only proves to me he is still unfit for any place within my pack. You had better fair better in shaping him up, Fairy-Blessed.” His tone was something Grenadine didn’t seem to appreciate. “You need not scoff towards me Mister Vil’Leone. I know my school will make young Vincent into a better man and wolf in its time with him.”
York visibly softens when he hears Grenadine speak. The phrase ‘I know and have always cared for your family. And have so for a very long time.‘ piqued his interest. Just who was this mysterious woman and how does she know about his family?
“Alright fine, I’ll join your school...but you owe a lot of explanations on who you are and how you know me?” He accepts boisterously.
“Huh?” The strange young man looks over at George, “Ah...look I’m sorry for almost running your brother over. Not for nothing I did warn you all to move outta the way! If I had to I woulda carried him to safety.” He explains. He rubs the back of his head and looks away, “So...we’re alright then?”
Before he can get his answer though, He spots the commotion of the Vil’Leone family. York was originally just going to look the other way as it wasn’t really any of his business but then he hears a certain title from Asger getting a reaction out of him, “Did he just say...Fairyblessed?!”
He remember what his grandmother Yolanda had told him, ’If you are ever in need or have nowhere else to go. Seek out Grenadine the Fairyblessed and respect her above anyone else! For her family and our family are allies.’
Now knowing that the woman he was talking to was in fact the same Fairyblessed his grandmother told him to respect. He began to act stomping up to the monstrous wolf and getting up in his face,
“Oi! Watch your mouth, ya overgrown fleabag! Anyone who thinks they can talk to the Fairyblessed like that is gonna get knocked flat on their ass!”
"Out of the way! Coming through!" A strange young man flies through the area on some kind of motorcycle. (thermal-impact)

“Ah Ah! You will listen young man, and listen well. If you want this map back, you will heed me.” Grenadine warns holding the map away now to put herself between him and it. “I know your family well enough, young Godfrey. Your bravado is not unfamiliar. You’re lot are always getting their noses into trouble whether meaning to or not.” She chuckles with a kinder more fond tone in her voice now.
“Come join the university. I will make sure you find what is on the map here that belongs to your Grandmother. But your talents would be wasted gallivanting everywhere unfocused.” She offers gesturing to the three massive buildings that largely made up the university’s main campus. “We are Legerdemain University, seeking the understanding and advancement of nature, science, and the unknown.”
George groaned having fallen face first to the ground now after being dropped, pulling himself up to find his glasses smashed now. “Great… jus’ great…” he grumbles picking up the frame and dusting his face of the glass shards.
Elizabeth rolled and got back up when she was dropped. This situation having apparently been handled by their headmistress now. Moving around the bigger man she went to George and put a hand on his shoulder, immediately she got a flash of something that made her turn flush before shaking her head and pulling back. “If you want this man here, Headmistress, then you have an idea in mind on where to put him?” She asks, her tone not really having any ill will due to their previous arguing. “Perhaps I do. But that is between him and myself, not for your youthful mind to know yet my dear.” Grenadine replies, turning her gaze back to York.
Instead of yelling or lashing out, York decided to listen to the headmistress. He did so begrudgingly but listen he did, “Why should I join your school eh?! I’m already a trained engineer. My education’s already been accounted for. You know who about my family but I don’t even know who you are!”
His eyes then turn to the map and he lets out a growl, “I hate it when people think they can cast a shadow over me. ‘Specially you snobby hand wavers...you lot think you’re so above it all don’t you?”
He glances down at George’s glasses and take them from him, “What’s wrong magic boy? Don’t have a spell to fix your specks?” He takes the frames of the glasses and for some reason...he licks them. The glass shards all fly off the ground and back into the frame where they belong looking completely restored, “Here...sorry that I broke your bifocals. They should be fine now.”
"Out of the way! Coming through!" A strange young man flies through the area on some kind of motorcycle. (thermal-impact)

Elizabeth dodged quickly again, “I’m not his girlfriend I don’t even know him! Would you calm down?!” She replied exasperated by his anger.
George became angry himself and balled his fists “Well maybe it wouldn’t have been as bad if you had dealt with it in the first place there wouldn’t have been a problem would it?! You wanna go? Your sonic screams aren’t enough for me to back down I’ll beat that attitude right the fuck outta ya, you bloody arsehole!” He was going to fight him. He didn’t care at this point, no one yells at his mother, or another woman in front of him.
Grenadine gained a rather composed look as she watched him explode in anger. While he went off on the woman, she used a spell to quietly reform the map from its ashes. It was just as she had thought. He sounded so familiar. She knew something about him was, she just didn’t place it at first. “My my, so you’re one of them aren’t you?” She states to get his attention, reading over the map rather amused. Was this something that a certain woman she once knew came up with?
“If you calm down we can work this out. If you do not, then you will not get this back then after I took the time to reform it.” She states calmly, while unable to stop George now, she waved Elizabeth to move away. “I have a proposition for you, if you can be good and listen for a spell, young man.” She tells him, rolling up the map in her hands and then crossing her arms.
The stranger was going to yell at George again but Grenadine got his attention once again, “Huuuuuh? One of them? Lady there’s only one of me.”
He puts on a sharp smile and turns fully to the fairy blessed, “Allow me to introduce myself. My name is York Godfrey. The Bombastic Sudden Impact from Munich, Germany, and I’m the one who saved your students lives.” He introduces holding up both George and Elizabeth.
Upon seeing the map, York’s eyes widen and he drops the two students, “Granny’s map! Why you...give that back!”

“THAT’S IT!” George exclaims, winding up to punch the man, before hearing a familiar voice behind him. “George Danton you will not!” The ordering motherly tone in her voice cause the color to drain from his face, but then he began to be shaken by the man as he hung onto his wrists for dear life.
“And you, young man, why did you steal a map from a manticore and then bring it onto the Legerdemain Campus?” Elizabeth turned to see the woman in question and quickly backed up a few steps as well. “Oh my gods, it’s Grenadine the Fairy-Blessed.” She muttered trying to decide whether it’d be a good idea to Bow in respect or not.
As Grenadine stopped before them she looked at the stranger with a stern authoritive look, before settling some. “Firstly, please release my son from your grip. Then, explain why you have done what you’ve done. It is unacceptable that you’ve cause such a commotion on the first day of the school year, and put at least three students into danger.”
“Who’s that supposed to be?” The stranger asks. He drops George and starts walking up to Grenadine. His hands in his coat pockets, “I wasn’t planning on coming to this place! I was being chased by the bloody thing! You try thinking while running for your life.”
He points to his bike which had a partially melted tired on it, “It blew out one of my wheels with its breath! I was out of options! And that map belonged to me thank you kindly!”
“It was a part of my family birthright! My inheritance! My one chance to prove that I can make something of myself! And now it’s gone! Turned to cinders because some schlemiel!” He glares at George, “And his Meshuggeneh girlfriend!” His glare then turns to Elizabeth, “Loused it all up because they had to butt in!” His yell sends shock waves throughout the campus shattering windows and makes a crater where he was standing.

After the beast was sent flying, George groaned. “Of course! Even I knew that! What was I thinking?! Ack… whatever… I could’ve fought it myself y’know. Bloody idiot you are, why the hell did you go disturbing one of ‘em anyway?” George snorts crossing his arms now.
Elizabeth was going to use her tarot abilities to subdue the creature, but it seemed the stranger did indeed have it handled. “I would like to know that as well. If you knew it was chasing you as well why did you do nothing then?” She asked firmly, standing beside George now. She did take a second to extend her hand to George who quickly shook it before doing a double take in awe of the woman now beside him. “Elizabeth Volk, nice to meet you.”
“George, George Danton, nice to meet you too…” if he believed in love at first sight then there it was.
As they were talking another woman began to walk towards them with Reman at her side now. And as they did, the Manticore came back and was going to charge through them to get back at the man that sent it flying. It would be stopped in its tracks though as the woman turned on a dime and extended her palm out towards it, with a shining light emitting from her now. It had a calming effect on the area around her, rendering the beast now unwilling to continue its aggression.
“That’s enough now. I will take care of your matters. Go back to your home, please.” She states calmly, and as if understanding the Manticore backed away and left as quickly as it’d come. She would then turn forward again, looking sternly at the trio now as she began towards them again.
“Huuuuuh?!” The stranger grabs at George’s collar and pulls, “Hello? Sorry I’m a bit deaf in this ear. It sounds to me you’re not thanking me for saving your life?”
“That stupid cat’s too damn fast to run away from on foot. I had to get some distance first! Besides it was looking for this!” He holds up his hand where the map was supposed to be but all he got was burnt scraps flying in the breeze, “.....”
“OH NO! Unbelievable! The map I stole! I musta incinerated it when I fought that cat! Damn it all!” He starts to shake George like a ragdoll, “This is your fault! You and your girlfriend got in my way! I said I had it handled damn it!”
He pauses and looks over at the new figure walking towards them, “Huuuuh?”
"Out of the way! Coming through!" A strange young man flies through the area on some kind of motorcycle. (thermal-impact)

Elizabeth looked back as well and was shocked to see the beast before them. “You did what?! Do you have any idea what damage a beast like that can do here!” She exclaimed, moving forward with him now, not necessarily to protect him, but it’s her duty to defend people and places from things that could do serious damage like a manticore could.
“That’s a bloody Manticore! What’s that idiot thinking bringing one on campus?!” George exclaims, rushing forward to try and help, while Reman was left behind and decided to do the smart thing and get some help. “Where’s that sleep potion I made this morning to turn in for class… here!” He yells, pulling a blue and silvery concoction from his satchel and chucking it at the manticore, it shattering on impact, but doing relatively nothing to the beast in his realization. “Ooooh that’s not good, I must’ve made it too weak… uuum good kitty cat…”
“I’m aware of that.” The man says not taking his eyes off the beast but the woman next to him was getting on his nerves, “Didn’t I say I’d take care of it?! Shut your mouth already! Get out of here before I french kiss ya!” He threatens.
And then George threw his potion. Taking his attention off the man and now onto him, “Damn Daft Fool! Manticore skin can repel charms and magic!”
With a roar, the beast lunges at George with its scorpion tail aimed directly at him. But instead of stabbing the alchemist the tail had stabbed the newcomer in the neck. He shielded him from the deadly venomous sting.
But what’s this?! The tail hadn’t pierced his neck at all! It hadn’t even broken his skin!, “Crappy attacks like that don’t work on me...Don’t push your luck!” He yells punching the manticore square in the face.
He hits the beast with such force his fist catches fire and sends it flying across town, “That’s what you get, you damn cat.” He says with a smile.

The strange young man doesn’t say a word. He simply parks his bike and starts walking towards the direction he was driving from, “Uh, how should I say this? Well you see...you may want to get everyone out of here, ma’am.”
“There’s a dangerous creature that’s been chasing me all day. I took something that the creature was guarding and it seems might peeved with me.” He explains.
As he finished the sentence, a large manticore lunges from out of bushes. Its Scorpion tail moves around with the thought of stinging its victim as flames spurt from its mouth.
“Not to worry though, I’ll take care of it.” He reassures as he starts walking towards the dangerous creature adjusting his tie all the while, “I say...you look like one mean kitty. Is this what you’re looking for?”
He pulls a map out of his coat pocket which the manticore responds with a menacing growl, “I thought so. Why do you even need this, ya furball? Everybody knows cats can’t read.”
