Gwen has a habit of being able to see past any sort of plan that he could possibly concoct, even before he thought of them. This is half thanks to how easily she read him but he really isn’t complaining. At her accusation he winced a bit and slides over to her, wrapping his arm around her waist. “Not exactly, but a bow or two might be missing, Blame the bow goblins I’m telling you.” He tries to get himself out of trouble with a bright smile and kisses her cheek.
“I’m going to let Ham make a mess on your things. It’s the only way you’ll ever learn.” She made a playful face at the kiss before ungracefully draping herself over him. “I forgive you. But Hammie doesn’t. She’s a very fashionable lady you know. Not as easily dissuaded as me...”

For a while, Charlie can only hold on to Ivy’s hand tightly not sure of what she can actually say and too pulled into herself to remove her blankets. She appreciates the silence however; Ivy is one of those kinds of people where she doesn’t feel the need to fill every short silence with blabbering. Ivy is comfortable and kind and Charlie really wants to pull herself together so she can stop worrying her. Finally, she tugs the other’s hand forward and raises the blankets enough to look at her and nod. “Hi,” she mumbles with another small sniff, resisting the urge to cry for what feels like absolutely no reason at all.
“Hi.” Ivy replies softly before giving the other knuckles a kiss. “Since you’re hiding I figure we should hide together. That way we can take a nap together and I can keep you warm. Then we you get hungry all you have to do is tell me and I’ll go get you snacks. No need to move from here at all.” She opens up her arms carefully as she scoots closer. “I know you’re tired, but you did very good and should feel proud about your accomplishment.”

There is something about the other that makes Hwasa want to wrap him up in a protective hug and stay there until whatever struggle he’s going through ceases. Her mother always said she had too much empathy towards humans to be an angel. That phrase never made much sense to her. Still, she waits and listens, hoping to better understand his perspective, nodding along as he speaks. “I think sometimes humanity needs a little more direction. It needs people to look up to, to see those good examples of wanting peace and prosperity. And I think, in time it will be the universal goal that it already should be. People just need to be shown the way.”
“People are really weird. I’m kind glad robots are my thing--” He chuckles a bit but nods at her words. “I think we all need a push in the right direction sometimes. The only way to make the world can and will turn into a better place is to show more tolerance and respect to those who are different from us. When that happens-- Maybe things will start to change. Personally it’s weird for me when I see people who are just-- You know. I was raised in a place that’s very different and more open minded in certain aspects.”

Selina takes a moment to eye the red head, her eyes narrowing slightly in distrust. This statement coming from anyone else might be – just might be – a compliment of sorts. But this is Poison Ivy we’re talking about and Selina knew exactly how she really felt about “superheros”. With a sigh she flicks a stray hair out of her face and levels her gaze on her acquaintance.
“If I didn’t know any better I’d say you’re trying to insult me, Red. Name calling is so uncalled for. Just what are you getting at anyway?” With a slight smirk she leans forward in her seat, crossing her legs at the knees and leaning with her chin in her palms. It wasn’t exactly a secret that these two didn’t get along most of the time. And Selina knew of Ivy’s… distaste… of her moral ambiguity.
“Me? Insult you? How dare you insinuate such a thing?” Ivy let out a fake gasp as she placed a hand over her heart. “Yeah, just a bit dear. But it’s all out of love.” She hummed slightly as she tried to remember something. “Don’t people say they bully their friends out of love? Well something like that.”
Speaking of superheroes, “Did you hear the news? That fetus... Robin-- Was spotted near Mapo. I don’t want to say it was you but do you have any idea how he got here--?”

“Yah, where’d this sunshine and rainbows come from?” Zico’s eyebrows raise dramatically as he looks around the living room, passing by his sibling for all intents and purpose a couple times before going to check the adjoining kitchen. After comically checking the cabinets he grabs one of his biggest jars of sweets and heads back to the living room.
“Waaaaah is that our Alex full of positive thoughts and vibes?” He chuckles to himself, opening the jar and unceremoniously popping a handful into his mouth before chucking gummies at her. “How’s this? Recognizing anything good?” His words come out muffled through the mouthful sweets, a chuckle threatening to escape him as he continues his gummy assault.
“I...” But before Alex could finish the statement her brother had already made his away across the room... several times. Silently she waited a rather stoic look on her face. “Do... you want me to kill you?” Was all that managed to come out when she became bombarded with candy.
She stood up from her spot as she squinted at him chugging a few gummies back at him, “I was thinking outloud. I remembered something from my philosophy lecture.” Looking for something to else to throw at him she ends up grabbing the cushion swiftly flinging it at his face. “This is exactly why I’m mean to you.”

From underneath the thick blanket, Charlie shifts but doesn’t dare to reveal her face. Though her shoulders have stopped shaking and her tears have dried, a heavy rock still seems to sit in her stomach. Still, some of the invisible pressure sinking in on her chest fades slightly at the other’s words and she turns towards her. Carefully, very carefully, her hand snakes out from under the blanket and she goes to grasp her hand tightly. Sniffling she doesn’t trust her voice to speak so she simply scoots closer.
Ivy, simply known as a cold hearted analytical woman was anything but when it came to her favourite girl in the world. Sometimes she wishes emotions were easier for her to express; that she could be of more comfort for Harl in situations like this-- But for now this would do. With a light squeeze of the other’s hand she simply scooted closer not daring to break the impenetrable fort the other had wrapped herself around just yet. “Can I come into the fort princess?” She said as she carefully lowered her tone into an uncharacteristically soft, yet sweet-- whisper.

Humans in and of themselves are odd and Hwasa loves them but her recent fascination lies in humans with a remarkable ability to . She loves the sheer determination behind their actions and the way in which they resemble angels in many ways so long as their methods aren’t corrupt. But they are even more confusing than the human that are more preoccupied by rather they should get coffee from Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. As such she often finds herself surprised by their decisions and assertions. This is no exception. “But isn’t that…a win in and of itself?”
Hiro tilted his head slightly as he turned on his heel to look at her properly. In a sense he did agree with her reply. It was something he knew for sure his aunt would agree with too. But no matter how much he thought about it the ‘what ifs’ and thoughts of failure seemed to crawl up and down his spine. Who knew even geniuses carried a hint of self doubt. For a second his brain seemed to trail somewhere else as he looked at her. “You know what, my brother would probably say the same thing. And you’re both probably right. No-- You’re both right. Isn’t it... strange though? I feel like this should be a universal goal by now.”
