"I don't like to kill, so taking a life without context is difficult for me. My mentors did their best to hone me as a killer as I trained to be a Wood Warder. They would guide me to desolate pockets of the jungle where the Empire tried to blight the land as a demonstration of their power. They would interview me with Viera who had close encounters with the fierce Garleans, encounters that resulted in the sacrifice of a limb, or an ear, or an eye, or their spirit. They would lead me to the borders of the jungle, the very fringes of the Green Word herself, to show me how the Empire changes the land with their technology and their buildings. I grew up into a role of justice, a role of self sacrifice to the greater good of the people and of the Green Word, a silent soldier in a war against dishonor and conformation from a world that sought to snuff out the natural balance of life. I had no choice but to embrace this form of killing, make it my own, become a weapon and little more.

Thus, I shot from the shadows, killed corruption with every last breath from an intruder by my arrow or my knife, and I never bothered to look beyond that. To do so would shatter my very identity, all that I was.

Until one day, I hesitated. Until one moment, under the weight of loneliness and longing--weakness--I let the breath to kill pass and instead watched and listened as an intruder invaded my world.

And I learned that to not kill did not mean I lost who I was. To not kill expanded my world, enriched my purpose, gave me a future beyond the shroud of the jungle that obscured the horizon of my potential, made me more than just a weapon.

But everything I learn has a cost, every question a consequence. Is it worth it?"

People I'd Like To Get To Know

Last Song: Empress of the Damned by Gunship feat. Lights: Been going through a rough time, so this song has been good for boss energy!

Favourite Colour: Earth tones! I'm not particularly one who likes to stand out.

Last Movie/TV Show: Last movie: John Wick 4! Nothing deep about it, but it's Keanu Reeves 😂 Last TV show: Blue-Eyed Samurai. Excellent!

Sweet, Savoury, or Spicy: Savory, please! Sometimes I have a bit of a sweet tooth, and I'm growing more accustomed to spicy food, but savory is always a hit!

Relationship Status: Single. Open-minded but not actively looking (because just the idea of dating is exhausting to me). If love comes my way, excellent, but I'm not dwelling on it.

Last Thing I Googled: "FFXIV mods". I don't have any of the sites bookmarked, so I just google that and all of the options pop up 😂 I like to see what's new.

Current Obsession: Still Leif! 😂 Hoping to get much more into writing out his backstory this year! I'm slowly getting into BG3. If there is a way I can express myself in the fandom (probably through writing romance between the NPCs) then I hope it can pull me away from FFXIV for a while.

You have mixed feelings about change, but you adapt to it fairly easily, or at least that's what it seems like from an outsider's perspective. Outwardly, you're pretty chill, appearing calm and relaxed, but inside is a little more complicated. You're guided by logic and reason just as much as you're guided by your heart and your instinct. You struggle with feeling like you're not enough. You cherish memories both old and new.

Leif is a vision of calm, but there is a tempest within him. It drives him to live, but he feels guilty that it exists. He seeks an inner calm that matches his outward tranquility.

Figured I'd share this here. A little trick to add to your gposing. You'll need the help of a friend or minion. Pick your emote and the frame (make sure it's the one with the star icon). After that, it's just a matter of messing with your camera's position and zoom. Have fun.

Warder training as Rava was not very extensive. I existed under the breath of the fragrant jungle mists as the chorus of birdsong and frogs thrummed through my veins, my spirit cleansed with each pass of warm rain through the jungle shroud. What did I know of snow and cold and barren winter? Yet as I trained with my Brothers of the Skatay Range, I learned how their souls blazed with the fire to ward them through the chill of snow's embrace, tempered by the sharp, sweet scent of pine and the comfort of the shimmering night sky. I carried these things with me for my hunts in Coerthas and honed them to sharp points for my eventual infiltration of Garlemald....
