every day the passage of time slips in and out of my perception and confuses & befuddles me. not calling it time blindness anymore we’re calling it time traveler syndrome because that is infinitely cooler.

Gotta love that autism/ADHD/mental illness mood where you’re severely understimulated but every potential stimulus is somehow Wrong. :(

The "all nonbinary terms are childish" rhetoric feels a lot less like "childish terms are getting applied to nonbinary people against their will" and a lot more like "I think all nonbinary terms are childish because nonbinary people are inherently childish to me."
Anyway "enby" is a perfectly reasonable shortened form of "nonbinary," y'all just have sand in your underpants.

gender is a performance and i’m an overenthusiastic extra who plays 11 different characters, and whose stupidly energetic line delivery makes me an audience fave and also widely despised by the rest of the cast

I'm going to be blunt for a moment when I say: I don't give a fuck why I'm trans. I don't care if it's because my brain isn't aligned with my assigned sex, or if my genetic coding went haywire in utero, or if my identity is the product of my environment. It could be a million things all at once or it could be none. It's not that simple to pinpoint why we're complex.
All I care about is that I'm trans now - that I deserve to be respected that way. I don't need justification to prove that I am a real, living person with real feelings. Besides, no amount of proving the validity of transness will prove to transphobes that they ought to respect us. Their beliefs stem from a disgust response, not from a logically-based response.
I don't want an explanation for my transness - I want freedom to be me. Explaining why I am the way I am doesn't really help me because I'll still be trans. What helps is respecting, loving, and uplifting trans people: to treat us as human.

I can not believe the amount of ableism i faced from peers and family as a child because of my adhd
being yelled at for forgetting things or not paying attention
people getting mad at me all the time for being too sensitive
teachers yelling at me for drawing during class even though it helped me pay attention , they never believed me when I said it helped
constantly being elbowed and kicked underneath the table as a kid for saying something that wasnt socially acceptable
being discouraged from using accomodations to help manage my adhd
people getting mad at me and/or mocking me for not knowing about important details or upcoming events
constantly being told to shut up or be quiet
instead of helping me break out of hyperfocus; whatever i was hyperfocusing on would be taken away and hidden as punishment (ex/ books, games)
no one believing me about my struggles with assignments and starting/doing them
everyone assuming i was lying when i said i forgot and that's why I didn't do whatever i was expected to do
