Small Dating Sim update, and other plans:

I have just finished testing functionality for character creation for the game! It is a bit barebones, but here is some of the stuff you will be able to do in the character creation screen:

Change body parts

Choose faction

Choose name (this one is still in the works, lol. But it's the most important, so I will make sure to figure it out.)

Unfortunately, you will not be able to change the color of certain parts, as that is funnily enough out of my skillset, but hey! Working character creator!

I will be testing turn-based combat functionality and K.O. Trivia next. I cannot work on art just yet for medical reasons, but I look forward to continuing to figure things out as I go. Thank you for your patience with the game!

Ive been wondering... when this game comes out... where will you put it on? Itch.io? or somewhere else? And will it be free or will you have to pay to get it.

Im just curious because i cant wait to play this game hehe.

Upon finishing, the game will be put out on itch.io and possibly other platforms that allow the downloading of an online product (e.g. Stripe)

The game will be 100% free, but there will be a "pay what you want" option in case you'd like to support me and the other brave souls that have helped me on the game.

I do plan on opening Ko-Fi commissions in the near future so I can pay for some assets I truly can't make myself (mainly music, I can't make music to save my life). I've been having trouble getting stuff set up, but once I do I'll be all set.

Long time no see! Had to reanimate the sprites I already made because I figured out my game engine and animation software can work hand-in-hand.

Behind the scenes, I noticed that I tended to move faster sketching each sprite out (and then coloring and animating later) than trying to finish one whole sprite before moving onto the next one.

Anyways, here are some of the sprite sketches I've worked on.

Side by side optimi sprites, I made their animations just slightly different so that it looked like masked Optimus was more tense in a subtle way.

ok guys, thank you for the input. I will probably go with 6 for now, but I'll do 3a/b if I find a way how!

hi guys! deciding on a new main menu right now.

a short description on each:

1) Optimus is reaching for the Star Saber as it is lodged into a rock (the bg will have a cool parallax effect)

2) "Face off", where OP and Megs share the game's title screen (no cool parallax effect, sorry).

3a + 3b) 3a and 3b will be picked at random when you enter the main menu. Sometimes, you will get 3a, which illustrates some characters in the Decepticon & co. roster; Other times you will be greeted with 3b, the Autobot & co. roster. (hopefully parallax, but I'm kinda iffy on this one because I'm not too sure on how to code it quite yet)

4a) The star saber laid across in the background while the start/preferences/load buttons are portraits of some of the main characters

4b) a lazy alternate version of 4a where the sword is stuck into something instead

5) Not doing 5 but it's meant to showcase the full roster lol. just an idea I threw out there that I would NOT be able to draw lmao

6) A cool-ass parallax image of Optimus pointing the star saber at you. It pays homage to that one tfp wii game kinda
