it key jangles to fallout fans very well but the story makes absolutely no sense.
Well after having watched Fallout about five times now and gone in depth to the story and writing I have to say...
It's retarded.

if you've ever sent me an ask and i never responded, i probably forgot and now i don't know what it was about anymore. you have express permission to bug me about it relentlessly.
me sending an ask: oh no they didn't respond right away I hope they didn't hate my ask :(
me receiving asks: *sees ask* aww I'm so happy they sent me an ask I should respond right away! *forgets ask box exists and takes 10 years to respond*

Technically speaking wild bears are less likely to rape a woman than a man. 🙄 ☝️🤓
lol I suppose if that’s your only concern and not, y’know, being mauled to death…

kind of reminds me of how back in the day, wow was experimenting with ways to get people to play less in one sitting cause it's unhealthy (imagine a game company caring about that kind of think in current year), so they tested a system where your experience gain would go down if you played too long in one setting.
people hated it. people thought it was awful and they felt punished for putting in effort.
so blizzard changed it to stacking duration on an experience gain buff whenever you're offline, that mathematically works out to roughly the same amount of experience gain as you'd end up with with the previous experimental model. this is still in the game, it's called "rested". no one had a problem with that, even though mathematically the two systems worked out pretty much identically.
psychology is wild like that.
> walk into a pizza place
> there's no visible menu
> "how do you get the menu?"
> "you have to scan the QR code"
> "is that the only way?"
> "yes"
> walk out of the pizza place

haltet eure pferde, bayern und baden-württemberg.
Fever is a hilarious immune response. Our bodies tell the disease “hey, wanna see which one of us dies of overheating first? No? Too bad.” and honestly they’re not even the winners a decent chunk of the time but it works often enough that we never evolved it away or anything. Fantastic work.

people really need to accept that sometimes words end up with negative connotations because the concept they're describing has negative connotations, and no amount of changing the terminology to "sound nicer" is going to change that.
"unhoused" sounds so pandering and stupid. it sounds like you're trying to mitigate the reality of homelessness. "homeless" is not a dirty word. and if you're constantly allowing words to become sullied by stigma instead of just using them the way they're meant to be used, you'll find yourself running through acceptable words even more quickly than you already are.

The fact that conservatives still support this crippled fuck tells me they're just as big of a problem as liberals. Y'all are just terrible.

i'm realising the more embarrassing ones tend to be liking something weird.
my first thought was "i hate it's always sunny in philadelphia" but i would die on that hill.
that i love those overproduced, mediocre big horror movies of recent years? feel a bit odd about that. especially cause i dislike a lot of horror classics.
What are some gaming or movie opinions you have that you're embarrassed to admit?
I'll go first:
I like the Saint's Row reboot.

much as i agree in principle that the right to protest hast to include protests i don't like, protesting ain't why these terrorist supporters are getting arrested, from what i've seen.
