also i've noticed when it comes to male lesbians, there's this attitude that someone being a lesbian means that they are forcing Every Other Lesbian to be attracted to them. as if by simply entering someone's hypothetical dating pool based solely on sexual identity, you are saying they MUST want to fuck you. by calling yourself a dyke you are a wicked evil man holding the poor pure woman at gunpoint and DEMANDING she have a lesbian relationship with you
