Kind of hilarious to me how poorly the title "Mob Psycho 100" localized to English-speaking areas. To someone whose first language is English, it scans as:

Mob (Yakuza, Mafia)

Psycho (violent person with "crazy" behaviors)

Thus: a particularly violent member of organized crime.

But in Japanese it scans as:

Mob (background characters in crowd scenes in manga or anime)

Psycho (short for psychic)

Thus: a psychic who looks/acts like someone you'd never pick out of a crowd scene in a comic.

Just saw someone with “use whatever pronouns you use for yourself for me” in bio. I honestly never considered the depth the pronoun metagame could have, we’ve barely scratched the surface with this shit

to me all the Romantic TM moments between satou and shio eventually hit a point where it just becomes heartbreaking to watch

this starts happening around the point where they stop doing that thing where after the two have a fluffy and romanticized moment together the framing immediately shifts to something dark that reflects very poorly on satou. because now they don't need to anymore. now we've seen her do something that she can never come back from and the consequences of those actions drive the entire plot of the second half of the story

when shio says "let me die as your accomplice" i just want to start crying. hearing a small child say that and knowing she means it is fucking soul crushing
