Look at the beautiful card I got from our @Mrs__Hudson today! Left to right are: Lestrade, our Gregson, Mycroft, John, our version of Irene (she predates the show’s Irene & I still prefer her), Mrs H & Sherlock. She remembered the Baftas on the mantelpiece & everything.

Wintery & Christmassy Fanfic

I don’t really do fanfic any more, but I thought I’d link to a couple of old stories of mine that I’m still happy with and are fitting for the season.

1st - I wrote a BBC Sherlock version of ACD’s The Blue Carbuncle a couple of years ago - it’s set a while after Sherlock comes back from the fall, so it’s set to get well and truly Jossed when S3 airs. I’m pleased with it though. A Christmassy wild goose chase, complete with mimes, a giant pair of specs and an awful lot of Breakfast.

2nd - ‘Assume The Perpendicular’ - BBC Sherlock again, set on Sherlock’s birthday; the 6th of Jan. Story takes a lot of jokes from the @Cumberholmes RP, but it’s perfectly readable without knowledge of it. Short, snowy, a strange, sad little birthday ritual between the Holmes Brothers.
