Here's a long overdue collab with Mecca:83 who brought us a wonderful track for our Sounds of Nature series! Mecca:83's studio overlooks fields so it's only natural that his track titles end up reflecting times and seasons in nature. Morning Mists was created on a suitably dewy morning, just as the sun was rising. Giving the track a sense of awakening, and the feeling of a great day starting. The production itself is primarily built from layers of jazz, library and soul records, with a dash of live percussion to make it a touch more organic. With this production influenced by upbeat lofi, Lofty & jaackson hoped to embody this feeling of being on the brink of a new discovery or a breakthrough, hence the name "dew point." The track prominently features jazz piano and bass grooves, with guitar drones and synthesizers shining overtop a driving beat. It's also the intro to their upcoming EP together in March 2023. The EP will follow the coming of age of a young musician and the artworks are depicting the musician's bedrooms while growing up and becoming an adult. The first one (presented here) is the children's room. Alive on Arrival is the new album by Danish producer Shatter Hands. The album was made over the course of 2022 when Johan got together in intervals with a few of his musician friends to collaborate in its creation. Each track was a specific shared moment between the artists and has a special meaning. While inspired by Electronica, Jazz and House music the foundations of the album are built with new techniques compared to Shatter Hands former works. Making „Alive on Arrival“ a brand new chapter in the producer’s musical career. The album originals are 7 impactful songs that are complimented by 4 remixes each as meaningful as the others.
