I’ve actually been say that for a while now. David is the birthday murderer and the cloaked rabbit outside the window, who has whiskers while the corrupted soul of the hotel guest doesn’t. Going further, I don’t think the hotel guests are the Eilanders in general. People just kinda assume that cause something something jakob’s revenge but the guest profiles contradict with the eilanders
This is random but I’m like 99% sure that the “Mr. Rabbit” Harvey kills in rusty lake hotel is not the actual Mr. Rabbit (as in David Eilander reincarnated/guy who kills Dale’s parents), and is in fact a completely different random guy, and also a hare, not a rabbit. I’ll probably make a post about it after I replay Hotel… unless this is already completely obvious to everyone else and is common knowledge
I feel like the characters, especially Rose, Laura and Dale, know too much about what’s going on. Like in The White Door, we see that Dale knows about memories and actively approaches Bob’s corrupted soul to get his memory. I think it would be a lot nicer if he had the same reaction as any sane person and also the player, which is “AAHHH H WHAT”
ok maybe there’s one more update i can make. the inventory expands now! i’ve yet to test it with more than six items because i just don’t wanna make more items but i’ll cross that bridge when i’m forced to
Whoops, accidentally made a Rusty Lake OC. Her name is Claudia, she's the dairy queen of Rusty Lake around 1890. She's probably evil, I mean look at her.
She's not an animal person, she's just a regular harbinger of the growing maw of capitalism
Do the Eilanders somehow receive outside information or are they completely isolated? Do they get all their outside information from Jakob? Imagine the dinner conversations
