Central Air Conditioner Cleaning and Maintenance
Most central air conditioning systems are separated, smaller systems, generally grouped together in series. In such a home air conditioner system, one component is within the house (for example, an evaporator or a heat pump) and the other is outdoors (for example, an air conditioning unit with a split duct system). Within the house, usually the compressor and condenser unit is located in the basement near the furnace, while the outdoor unit is placed on the exterior walls of the house. The outdoor unit could be connected to the indoor unit via a duct system. One of the main differences between ductless mini splits and traditional split units is that the ductless mini-split units are smaller than the split units. Ductless mini split, especially those that are ductless mini-split systems, generally do not require large ducts, since they are housed outside the home. However, if they are situated inside the home, the ducts would be needed to extend the power of the cooling/heating to each individual room. For that reason, these systems may require more duct work than a typical split unit. Although the outdoor portion of a ductless mini-split home air conditioner system does not have ducts running to it, the condensing portion does. The indoor air conditioning system is composed of two separate components: the evaporator and the condensing unit. The evaporator is located indoors, in the same room as the indoor air conditioning unit (sometimes on the second floor of a multi-stor Read the full article

Options For the Split System Air Conditioner
One of the best benefits of a split system air conditioner is enhanced energy efficiency. Because these systems are designed differently, they are able to have much higher seasonal energy efficiency ratio (SEER) values than most central air conditioning systems. The SEER value is the standard measurement for determining how efficiently the system cools air, and the higher the SEER value, the more efficiently it cools the air. One way to appreciate the enhanced efficiency offered with a split system air conditioner is to consider how they work. In an outdoor unit, warm air is pulled inside by the blower and then pushed out by an indoor blower fan. The outdoor unit exchanges air with the outdoor air and then sends that air outdoors. When the indoor air is pulled indoors, it goes through the blower, where it is again exchanged with the outdoor air. This continuous cycle is what produces the heat in the indoor space. With a split system air conditioner, a single duct is installed between the outdoor and indoor spaces. This duct system allows for the efficient exchange of warm indoor air with cold outdoor air. In this system, a single indoor unit, the packaged air conditioner, is installed in the outdoors. It is then attached to the indoor unit, which is then installed in the indoor space. A ductless cooling system can be installed instead, which will require less space but will still allow for the efficient exchange of air. Many of these new single ducted split system air con Read the full article

Some Drain Clearing Tips
Some Drain Clearing TipsA drain cleaning machine is a special chemical material that clears clogged wastewater drainage pipes or sewer drains. The term can also apply to a mechanical device like a toilet plunger, plumber's snake, sewage snake, or other similar device designed for this purpose. In fact, there are many drain cleaners for sewer systems available today. Here is a simple guide on the different types of drain cleaning machines and their use: Plumber's Snake - this is one of the most common drain clearing machines available today. It is an industrial-type snake used for cleaning sewer pipes. It is long-handled and has the ability to reach all levels of the sewer pipe. These snakes are usually used for large drains and sewage drain pipes. Septic Drain - this is another common type of drain cleaning machine used today. These drain cleaners are made to clean sewers and drainage pipes. They are long-handled, have no parts and can reach all the way down to the sewer level. They are generally used for larger drains. However, they can be used for smaller sewer systems, too. Septic Pump - this is the latest drain cleaning machine that is able to remove sewer clogs in residential drains and sewers. Septic pumps work by sending a pressurized fluid through the sewer lines. This fluid will break up the clog that occurs when debris is left behind in the pipes. Septic pumps are also known as "plug and play" drain cleaners. Read the full article
