Hey members, as some of you may already know, we will be closing hillsburyhq. I (Marie) was apart of a group called @victoirehqs before this one that I completely adored. I loved my muse so much that I decided to bring her here but I failed to change the name that was attached to victoire. I also accepted characters whose names were not changed along with some other information that belonged to victoire and it’s admins. I would like to sincerely apologize to Emily and Lorena for how this made them feel and for not asking for their permission before I created this group with characters who originated from there’s. My heart was in the right place but my mind just didn’t follow through and the actions I took weren’t the right ones. I am so sorry to Emily and Lorena but also to everyone who joined this little closed group me and Hannah wanted to create.

YES. ROAST THEM

this isn’t about roasting anyone, it’s about people being sneaky as FUCK for no reason. a muse i created for a wanted connection literally was stolen from me, and my own muse replaced by a random name. i’m sorry, but you can’t jack muses that weren’t even created by you. the mere fact that not even a full day after we decided to close, they are ripping us off is disgusting. the way that these members treated us was even more so. here is just a taste of our inbox ( as well as the messages we got on our revamped blog @victoirehqs.

then we got this passive aggressive anon on our new main:

i’d like to remind anyone reading this that we were BEGGED to make this revamp, and once we did, not one of the offending people even attempt to reply to new starters, create their own… instead, we were hounded, and then sent multiple messages like the one i shared from our revamp only to have the people hounding us immediately turn around, create a group behind our backs, to use muses that we, essentially, gave them the skeleton for.

this actually goes so much deeper than just stealing, this is about the BLATANT DISRESPECT and ENTITLEMENT that muns have when it comes to rps and how they treat their admins. we’re only human. but we were treated like shit to the point where we didn’t even want to admin anymore. and then to have them plot behind our backs this group ? it’s the icing on the cake.

TREAT. ADMINS. BETTER. 2019.

you’re not entitled to shit. we did not have to do a revamp. we did not have to give countless headcanons for the families that you stole. yeah — the headcanon page is located here, we put so much effort into these families only to have them ripped off by a group of ungrateful, entitled rpers.

just so you know stealing people’s characters is TRASHY and DISGUSTING. the bianchi family, as well as the mancini family were families created for THIS group, victoirehqs. not your group. taking your character and moving it somewhere else, that’s fine, but taking the last names of characters that frankly weren’t created by you is so fucking disgusting. you guys were our friends, our members, and we adored you only for you guys to literally STEAL out creative concepts into a washed up version of what we’ve created here. think we wouldn’t notice ?

oh, and the REAL icing on the cake, is angelo mancini, a muse that i created myself as a WANTED CONNECTION FOR MY MUSE:

you guys don’t own these names, you can’t just copy our group because it’s closed and think you can steal our concepts. this is fucking ugly and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

rpc, do NOT join this group. they are blatantly ripping off our content, our wanted connections, and our family names. i don’t care that you played them and brought them to life, they were CREATED BY ME AND LORENA. not you. you lot are uncreative thieves and if you’ve done it us, it’s likely that you’ve done it before to someone else.

stealing skeleton made families and muses created for wanted connections is so fucking ugly. you didn’t even ASK us for permission. i must say, part of the reason why lorena and i decided to close this group was the sheer UNGRATEFUL behavior of the members. from spamming the inbox with intrusive questions, to pushing for a revamp that none of you actually gave a fuck about when it went live… and then this. i’m actually shaking. you guys stole from us. and this is not okay.

DEAR MEMBERS, we are very happy to announce our new revamped blog , which will be located over at @victoirehqs​ . we would like to thank you all for your patience .

now , to begin with this important post . faceclaims and spots have now been reserved for the next 36 h ( instead of the usual 12 ) within both the families , as well as the alliance and the resistance . if you could please send us in your applications asap it would be greatly appreciated .

now , i’ll be explaining everything in regards to the changes of the plot and everything else . to not ramble , this is done in bullet points .

plot : 1. there is no serial killer. 2. the serial killer has been replaced with the lotharios betraying the bianchis ,     thus the alliance being split into two . the resistance , and the alliance . the lothario     family and the bianchi family are now rivals . 3. the 5 murders have still happened , but instead of it being the serial killer , the citizens     believe that one of the groups has to be behind the murders .

founding families : 1. as mentioned above , the lothario and the bianchi family are now rivals . the lotharios     created the resistance in secret , and left the alliance by betraying them. **read full plot 2. the higgings family has been reworked into the osborn family     *read extended headcanons on family page for additional changes . 3. the beaumont family has been reworked into the villalobos family .     *name change to a hispanic last name*

alliance : 1. as mentioned above the alliance has been officially split into two :     the alliance and the resistance . these two groups hate each other , and wish to gain     control over the city and surrounding areas . the bianchi family is ruling the alliance .     the lothario family is ruling the resistance .  **read full description of both groups 2. the spy role is now part of the resistance . 3. the hitman role is now part of the resistance . 4. the drug dealer , warehouse & online seller role have been merged into one :     the drug dealer . the drug dealer role is now part of the resistance . 5. within the alliance , the pawn and langerak role have been merged into one :     the pawn this role is now part of the alliance . 

i would like to highly encourage you all to re read the full plot again , as well as to check out both the resistance and the alliance , as there are new roles .

So, does having no serial killer mean characters who's story/plot line had some connection to that part of the plot be altered? I mean, I know you've said there'll be explanation tonight about the changes but honestly what I loved the most about this rp and what made it unique among the rest in the crime/gang tag was the fact that it had more to the story than a gang war for power. I do respect the admins' choice, but I'm worried that way it'd be harder for people to fit in their character...

(2) Tumblr was going to cut it, so I had to split it into two, sorry) … without their character having a strong connections to one of the families. It feels like it’d be either be in connection with one or left out.

hey friend, so originally we weren’t going to answer this until later, however i just wanted to offer my assistance to anyone who is having difficulties adapting their muses to the change. it’s really not as drastic as you might believe. we decided to take a look at our plot and really analyze what was working on the dash. it seemed like the majority of our members really enjoyed the feuding families / the drama / the scandal / the mystery of life in victoria and to be honest, that’s been my favorite part of this group as well. i will say this — if your muse is primarily based around the existence of a serial killer in the area, this is florida. with a quick google search, you can discover that the murder rates in florida are on the rise. you can always create the existence of a serial killer: say your muse is a detective, why can’t you just create a case for them to solve ? bring us your narrative and we’ll weave it into our’s ! i hope that makes sense. just because we’re eliminating the big bad serial killer aspect from the plot does not mean members cannot create controversy themselves ! or even… dare i say, become a serial killer ? personally, i think having a muse obsessed with some violent criminal in the area is a really solid backstory. i’m just really excited for you guys to sink your teeth into the new dash, and i don’t want anyone feeling as though their muses are being disregarded due to this shift in focus in our plot. if anything, we’re handing you more freedom to be as creative as you desire with your muse’s backstory and connections. and here at victoire, we love including muses in our plot drops… so who knows what might be added to the group narrative as the dash continues to move !

hey friends, i just wanted to pop in real quick with a few updates before our revamp will be released to the public later this afternoon... first of all, thank you so much for your dedication to this group and the muses you’ve created for it over the past few weeks during this stage of change. the new main is gorgeous, we have a starter blog, a gossip blog and a bunch of fun tidbits. we’ve reworked elements of the plot that seemed redundant and also edited the functionality of the alliance as well as gotten ride of the serial killer element to focus more on the individuality of muses as well as the overall play the family dynamics have on the city of victoria as a whole.

i just wanted to briefly express my slight disappointment with the pushiness / overall aura of discontent in our inbox. i’ve been working tirelessly on the aesthetics and graphics of our new blog and lorena has been on the main hours every day to perfect plot elements. i don’t want to accuse anyone of being ‘ungrateful’ because i know that’s not the case. you guys are just as excited as we are, but it’s rather disheartening to feel as though we’re being pushed to finish things /  being an annoyance to our members because we aren’t doing things a certain way.

we could’ve simply done a ‘traditional’ revamp, requiring all previous members to reapply and start from scratch --- this is NOT what we’re asking. we are not asking anyone to forgo any character development that has been made during the first round of victoirehq. you may keep your connections, your hc’s --- in fact, this is what we want and is why we decided to give all previous members the opportunity to hold their spots. the only thing truly different will be the blog itself and some minor plot elements; please do not worry or stress ! we encourage all of you to pick back up on threads when we open back up for interactions, but also reply to new ones. we will be even stricter about replying to starters and everyone will be expected to be inclusive, which i don’t see an issue with looking at the solid group we’re opening victoirehq 2.0 with.

to sum it all up, in case you all didn’t want to read this little rant of mine:

we are not asking you to delete / forgo any previous character development

you will be allowed to continue old threads if you desire, though starting new interactions is preferred / encouraged

please, please be patient with us. it’s hard to sit around and wait for your group to come back, i realize this, but we are the ones doing the labor to make sure that we’re successful and putting out something into the tags that we are genuinely satisfied with

when the new victoire is live, you’ll know it. i’m super excited for you guys to see the changes and utilize some of the new features we’ve put into the dynamic of the group. it will be released and in the tags today, and i can’t wait for you guys to get back to the dash and writing again !

hello dear members !! it’s admin lorena here . this post is on the important side of things , so we ask you to please read the entire thing . truth is i was planning on releasing an event today , but ended up deciding against it . it’s clear to not only me , but all of us , that the group is going through a decrease in activity which began around two weeks ago , and while we’ve all been trying to keep going and ensure that this project would be able to continue , it’s clear to all of us that a change is a must .

as a fellow writer i also understand how frustrating it is to see a group you enjoy being a part of dying and after discussing this with admin emily we’ve decided that revamping would be the best option . 

i am sure that some of you may be wondering about the changes that we’ll make to the group . plot wise not much , but we’re aiming to attracts new applicants .

revamping would mean a fresh and new start for the universe which we’re all a part of .

this is why i would like to ask everyone who wishes to continue being a part of our group , to give this post a like . 

it would secure your current faceclaim , and position ( alliance or family ) . for those of you with more than two muses , there’s no need to drop the third . we’ll make a tweak to the rules so that everyone’s able to start of with three characters if they wish .

i hate to be annoying but do you have an estimate on how long the new group will be in the tags? a few days? a few weeks?

hey there anon , you’re not being annoying at all !! it should only take us a few days , since we’re currently finishing off the pages , and are in the process of making a gossip blog etc .  .  . the graphics on the main are finished , so really it’s just content and the secondary blogs that needs to be edited .emily and i thank you all for being so patient with us !!
